Patience.

Any real Italian knows that risotto should take no more than 30 mins. An hour tops if your making gourmet style.

Hmm.  Feels like we've finally cut the cord.  Floating out in the ether. Anger at the faceless dismissal and marginalization of it's own fans by PE.com. But extreme gratitude for guys l

I mentioned this previously on this board, and in the past years ago on the other board.   I'm not sure Howie has ever come out and said it this plainly, but Howie is telling the truth here.

This is why you draft Davion Taylor in RD3.
Similar athletes, but even when you're wrong, you have the ability to make up for it. Bush is obviously better (top 10 pick), but Taylor just needs reps and time.

They might be similar athletes but Devin Bush was a ridiculous NCAA LB.  His instincts are 2nd to none.  We'll be lucky if Taylor develops half of his natural instincts.

I really don't want Clowney here but if they bring him in on a reasonable deal, one positive is that it weakens the Seahawks and man do I just despise them anymore.  They are right below Dallas anymore with teams that I hate.

Dallas, New Orleans, Seattle, New England, Pittsburgh.  Ugh

What’s a reasonable deal for the guy, though?  He averages less than 7 sacks per 16 games, takes a ton of penalties, and put up 3 sacks last season in his first year without JJ Watt beside him.

Clowney staying in SEA at $15M+ per season weakens the Seahawks a lot more than Clowney signing in PHI does

I don’t really get worked up over broadcast teams, but it was hard to ignore how awful Booger was, and Tess’ "Eat that W” line against the Giants was cringeworthy.

I wonder if Fowler and Herbstreit are taking over. I can't see them leaving CFB, but there was speculation about that.

Understatement.

I’m German-Irish. Forty minutes is about my norm for mushroom risotto, including slicing the mushrooms and shallots and grating the parmigiana. I use carnaroli rice rather than arborio. Sauvignon blanc and chicken bone broth, about six to one broth to rice.

The Italians are much better cooks than either the Germans or the Irish.

I hope not, they fit the college game so well.  I'm a traditionalist.  I like things a certain way.  To me growing up college football was Keith Jackson, Verne Lundquist and Brent Mussberger.  I watch a lot of SEC football so they do a lot of the games.  Brad Nessler has taken over as that familiar voice on Saturday afternoons.

I LOVE Gus Johnson calling games. Herbie and Fowler are the main event Saturday night games.  They ARE college football.

ESPN needs to stop being lazy and find good announcers on their own.

No way. Herbstreit is way too good at college football. Maybe if there’s no college football this year though...

ESPN has very few play-by-play announcers I like, but if they’re going to fill internal like this says, just give Dan Shulman the job — he’s the best MLB talent, excellent at both basketball and hockey — crossing into the NFL would be seamless for him.

Exactly, he's acting like he's a Jevon Kearse, Julius Peppers type player. He's not. He's great against the run but you pay a defensive end big money to sack the quarterback and cause havoc in the backfield. Clowney does neither.

I’m not a huge blue crab fan.  Too much work for food.  But my wife is from MD and her and my daughter love them.  Local fish monger has blue crabs next weekend.  I’ll surprise her.

Wooden spoon is a must.

Wooden spoons frighten me.   They were my mother's instrument for my discipline.

Naaa.....it will always be the orange Hot Wheels tracks for me. What was Mattel thinking? A toy with a dual weapon purpose. I threw those things away and my parents would always get me new ones for XMAS.

Put the TV on.  Any time you hear these phrases during a commercial take a shot.

Stay Home, Stay Safe

During these unprecedented times

We're in this together

In a world with so much unknown

In this new normal

Now more than ever

Not a phrase but any voiceover by a calm, soft spoken women over top of piano music

Maybe it's smarter to take a shot when a regular commercial comes on then.
