Hmm.  Feels like we've finally cut the cord.  Floating out in the ether. Anger at the faceless dismissal and marginalization of it's own fans by PE.com. But extreme gratitude for guys l

I mentioned this previously on this board, and in the past years ago on the other board.   I'm not sure Howie has ever come out and said it this plainly, but Howie is telling the truth here.

If you had your choice, would you rather have your guy at WR in the 1st round(whoever your guy is) and Kenny Stills or your guy in round 1 and a mid round pick at WR?

I love the kid but i don’t see the eagles taking him. If he didn’t have the core surgery injury i think he’d be in play as a top 25 pick.

Congratulations to birds and their superbowl victory..as a parent of 2 temple students ,and spending lots of time in  philly I got to experience the craziness leading up to it all.

Yeah it was great that we got to celebrate 15 years after you got to celebrate your Bucs winning the SB 🙂

Speaking of the Bucs you guys have a shot as long as Brady hasn't hit the wall yet.

Good question. Under normal circumstances I'd say rookie mid round pick. With a virtual offseason and possibly delayed TC, give me Stills

That makes sense.

ABC:
Hosts Rece Davis, Jesse Palmer and Maria Taylor will lead ABC's unique prime-time presentation of the NFL Draft on April 23-24. Featuring NFL Draft analyst Todd McShay (12th draft, first commentating on all seven rounds) and college football analysts Kirk Herbstreit (third), Desmond Howard (third), David Pollack (third), and correspondent/feature reporter Tom Rinaldi, ABC will focus on storytelling and the journey draft prospects and their families have taken to get to the NFL. Davis, Palmer, Taylor and Rinaldi will be in-studio in Bristol.

Ew.  Can't stand the ESPN crew.  I just like Riddick.

You gonna pressure me to get my profile updated?

ABC broadcast was terrible last year. They are supposedly also focusing more on each players personal backstory. Sounds like a skip to me

Despair for the hair.

Forgot who asked about spoiling draft picks before announced but sounds like it's not going to happen this year.

The networks decided not to use NFL Network’s information men — Ian Rapoport, Mike Garofolo and Tom Pelissero — but neither those three nor anyone employed by ESPN or NFL Network will be permitted to tweet picks before they’re announced by the commissioner.

I don't see how anyone else like local beat writers would be able to spoil a virtual draft.

In the embed.css right?  Very nice find, I think this confirms what I sent to VA.  I'm not a css guy but I thought the person who helped him with it might be able to make the fix.  Thank you very much!

CSS isn’t my forte, nor web development. I’ve only ever dabbled in it..so if I have followed the crumbs correctly, I’m seeing a custom.css that has the body {} section that is the culprit here with the background-color and margin-top (as well as color, font-family, font size) ..I wonder if that part is even needed.

So what kind of receiver do we think pairs best with Wentz? Big targets? Easy separators? Speed? All of the above?

Easy separators are the best match for any qb worth sticking with, which obviously includes Wentz.

5’10” and wide open for an uncontested catch beats 6’4” in a fight for the football.

Separation comes from routes, quickness/acceleration, and pure speed.

If we are going to continue to emphasize 12 personnel with...literally, no joke...nearly 240 underneath targets to TEs per year, then we need TWO easy separating WRs with big speed, not one.  A TE heavy offense shouldn’t even feature a possession WR like Alshon/JJAW.  The fact that they actually drafted JJAW deeply concerns me that they have no awareness of that big picture or spacing.

Reagor with Aiyuk or Edwards and I would be hyped!

Could still throw in another late Rd on Bowden or someone too.

If they can orchestrate a trade back to be all to do that, I may prefer that as a trade up to get one they like.

The Jeudy reports are strange as if he's there at 21 you would have to take him, wouldn't you?

Knee issues be damned.

Trade down to mid to high 20’s for JJ and you got a deal.

Ideally trade back and up with Miami. . But I think Jefferson goes higher than many on here believe.

With 12 personnel and being so TE heavy, I wonder if that's chicken or egg.  Is that how we want to run, or how we run when our WRs look like they do?

I think you are dead on and I really appreciate it.  I passed it on to VAB.  Thank you again!!

What a disaster we got caught flat footed last year with the Chiefs taking Mecole Hardman one pick ahead of us, then we get confused and take this bust JJAW.  Like we didn't know about Andy's fetish for speed receivers.
