Hmm.  Feels like we've finally cut the cord.  Floating out in the ether. Anger at the faceless dismissal and marginalization of it's own fans by PE.com. But extreme gratitude for guys l

I mentioned this previously on this board, and in the past years ago on the other board.   I'm not sure Howie has ever come out and said it this plainly, but Howie is telling the truth here.

No offense but those color combinations sound horrible.  I'm a fan of green on white or all white.  Period.  Green pants look terrible regardless of combination.  But that's just me.  The all black is over done....but would look better if were no white stripes on the pants.

I think an all green look would be cool.

they still haven't.  We don't actually have the original Midnight Green.

Yup. It's gradually shifted from greenish to bluish, although it's still more green than blue, of course. Y'know what else is troubling about the Eagles colors is that almost every article of clothing that you buy has a different shade. You can have a closet full of shirts and jackets and every damn one looks slightly different.

It’s worth a call even if you don’t notice anything. Two of my neighbors got up and looked and didn’t see anything but their insurance companies called them due to all the claims and suggested they be looked at. Sure enough, they’re getting new roofs. I didn’t see any issues with mine outside of a few pings on the down spout, but called mine in any way, but they didn’t find any damage beyond that. My roof is only two years old though.

Matter of full disclosure.  I was trained to adjust hail claims, albeit almost forty years ago, so I may be better able to spot damage. Has changed a lot since I was younger with use of system tracking and drones.  Carriers are proactive nowadays. With that system tracking data and zip code searching for policyholders, they can reach out to the customers before the customers reach out to,them. Sounds like your neighbors have that sort of carrier.  Now prior to an event like a hurricane, carriers are reaching out to customers and telling them what they will need ahead of time. I spent the last few years of my career reviewing drone laws and helping lobby for use in disasters by carriers with some success.  One of the things that hampered the carriers in the past was access to destroyed areas and even then identifying where you were. Hurricanes that destroy houses like Katrina, Hugo and Andrews also tend to take out street signs. Same with tornados. GPS is helping with that now.

I bet it'd be cheaper than the huge ripoff they are charging me.

I would give it away. Treated by True Green so weed free too.

I think the matted look of the Nike "midnight green” is better than the original.

I do too, less "midnight" i suppose in comparison to the original. However it looks good on TV during the day and pops at night. Looks good in person as well. All around an enjoyable and i think iconic look in the modern NFL.

One of the few things Nike got right, Do you remember the season they couldn't get the green down though and we had to wear white and black till halfway through the season?

He's gotten into kung fu/martial arts the past couple of years. They showed him working the wooden dummy in the All or Nothing series. I'm assuming it helps him with hand placement/technique and is just a good workout overall. Brooks is a beast though. You don't come back from a torn achilles in six months without working hard.

I had forgotten about that. Pretty embarrassing.

We actually have 3 if you count Prince Harry. ;)

I was counting him.  I had to go back to see the roster to find out who the other Prince was... Prince Smith - DB Baylor - UDFA.   I didn't remember him at all.

What if Jeffery catches that pass in NO the following year. Eagles comeback and win.  We don’t have to suffer through an off-season of S’ain’ts fans crying about how they were robbed and the NFL doesn’t have to suffer through a season of was it/wasn’t it challenges on PI.

Come on now, according to Forbes magazine, they are a top 3 Passionate fan base, not a bunch of whiny losers.   I liked those fools better when they went around like this:

It probably isn't happening, but man I hope Clement makes a comeback this year.

Smith is also taking it to them

Probably not the best gif to use in that second tweet

So true

That’s a helluva what-if. That defense was something else. It’s the most underrated defense of all time.

Problem with the Saints 2018 argument is the Eagles had lost Smith in free agency and Wallace to injury.  So no deep threat.  They were still one drop away from a tie game.  First game against the Saints we were starting scrubs at CB.

Eagles fans can play that game too.  Jeffery makes the catch and the Eagles win.  Already had Rams number. Wallace was a week away.  He was already active. Two weeks to give it one last push.  Now I will be honest, losing Brooks hurt.

But, what if’s are played by the teams that lost.   Eagles were two drops from 11-5 last year but that costs us Reagor.  There are fans that might argue losing the division nets us Lamb and Diggs.  Of course, when DJax or Reagor burn Diggs and Wallace reminds Lamb that YAC against Big 12 corners isn’t the same as against a sure tackling S with similar speed, I will smile and laugh at that. Especially as Taylor runs down a much slower Zeke and sure tackles him every time.

The Washington Redskins were a historically-great team in 1991 — perhaps the most underrated Super Bowl champion ever.  I saw enough of Randall Cunningham running the Eagles offense to know the Redskins were not beatable that year.

Like the disastrous logo, the Rams uniforms are hideous. The gradient is just awful and then the plastic looking numbers. The only threads that Nike has nailed their first try were the Seahawks, Vikings and Bills. Everything else has been a total disaster. They'll re-do the Falcons and Titans in a few years like they did Tampa and Cleveland soon enough.

Yeah, they were pretty special. Rypien played out of his mind that season, but when we faced him in a meaningless week 17 game he was 10 of 27 for 130 yards with a pick six. The Eagles won 24-22, although the Redskins backups played quite a bit in the second half.

The Eagles would have been clear underdogs, but I think the defense with just a couple of big plays on offense might have been enough.

DVOA has them as the 2nd best rated defense ever behind 85 bears.

Randall doesnt get hurt they at least make the playoffs. That team went 10-6 with mcmahon and kemp at qb and not much of a run game either.

Also Ben smith got hurt week 10 which if he doesnt that defense is even better

I think it gets lost in the annals of history because they missed the playoffs, let alone failing to win a Super Bowl. People talk about the 85 Bears, and the great Bucs and Ravens defenses. The Eagles were every bit as good and people outside of Philly don’t really know it.
