It would be nice to have that, but the way my deck is shaped, I have the perfect configuration for a sectional and fire table and a nook off the side for my grill. I should just buy the flat top attachment for fajitas and breakfast.

What do you all cook on it?

Flat top for fajitas or the grilled vegetables for fajitas.  I roast my peppers and then sauté my onions a briefly the peppers after preparing them. But I grill my fajitas.  Then when everything is sliced I put on my cast iron server(s) that has been in the oven for that good sizzle so everything is hot

I mentioned this previously on this board, and in the past years ago on the other board.   I'm not sure Howie has ever come out and said it this plainly, but Howie is telling the truth here.

Svedka is a good vodka. Grey Goose is not.

I prefer Cointreau. Lighter. Grand Marnier is wonderful to be sure. Partial to Chartreuse as well - the green. Those monks could drink.

I use both. Cointreau with silver tequila.   I find Grand Mariner a bit better with Respado.

Eh I still vote but I uphold the principles of the secret ballot. And I have my political preferences but I don't broadcast them. I've seen friendships and relationships destroyed over the silliest thing. Oh you voted for blank? I hate you! Sad.

That is sad.  I was an elected official for four terms.  You have to reveal some of your preferences in such a position.  I have friends on both sides and the middle.  But I find that discourse leads to compromise in most situations

Not a drinker, but I’ve been bored and on a Vodka spree.

recently I’ve tried,

Stoli Elit, Beluga Noble, Crystal Head, Grey Goose, Chopin, Double Cross, Belvedere and Cooperstown Distillery.

The Stoli Elit is absolutely amazing, by FAR my favorite. pricey at $50 for a 750ml, but completely odorless and very light and subtle.

i make mine - 2oz vodka, 4 oz cranberry, 2 mint leaves (muddled) , lime wedge on the rocks.

The worst of the bunch were goose and crystal head, got fooled by the cool bottle lol

Fair enough.  I'm not a huge vodka drinker myself.  I won't really touch the stuff unless it's getting mixed, so I'm not too fussy.  I just used Svedka as a price point since I know a lot of people will pay premium.

My wife loves freckled lemonade, so we decided to spike it with some strawberry juice Absolut vodka. We just had it last night with some muddled strawberries. Pretty good, but I could only drink a couple. Too sweet.

Grey Goose, Belvedere, and Stoli Elite taste like water. Never had Crystal Head. Boardroom, locally distilled, is very good, and much cheaper. My go to is Absolut.

Yup, very good. It was awesome value too for like 10 years but then it got popular and doubled in price.

Not a big Vodka person, but when I went to Maui a few years ago got to go to the Ocean Vodka farm and it was really impressive.  Made from sugar cane and uses deep ocean mineral currents.  Don't let the gimmicky bottle fool you, it's solid vodka.

I think you’re wrong to stay out of politics. This is your life and the lives of others. Commit to making these lives better. Just not here.

Fallacy of the middle

compromise is often a far inferior solution

Fair enough

i choose to see that as preferring the comforting lies we often tell ourselves

Not from my experience.  Let’s just say we disagree and it is unlikely either of us will change our opinions.

Chartreuse is a very slippery slope for me, but I do love it.  Have you had the VEP?  Even better but I’m not sure worth the $ difference.

Looking to get a outdoor griddle/grill any suggestions, i know it was talked about earlier then discussion veered into alchol. Ive never owned a griddle just a grill though ive cooked on a griddle in a restaurant.

Had you any grace you would have stopped at Fair enough.

I have not. Never heard of it, in fact. Another world of ignorance opens to me. Just how expensive is it?

In the $150 range. I’ve had it out, but never sprung for a bottle  myself.

I have my brother to thank for that introduction. He is the mixologist in our family, though loathes that label.

Yes best to just dismiss anyone that dare challenge the lies as lacking grace...

Vodka is a complete status drink. Do a blind taste test and I bet most wont be able to tell Svedka vs a top shelf brand. As long as it’s not a cheap Popov or something and it’s been distilled 4 or 5 times, it’s all the same.
