I mentioned this previously on this board, and in the past years ago on the other board.   I'm not sure Howie has ever come out and said it this plainly, but Howie is telling the truth here.

This was a really informative read.

The Athletic is well worth the subscription. Just blows away literally every other form of sports content

I was about to get some under armour sneakers the other day and VABeachEagle got us an affiliate link for under armour now. Just to let ya all know.

Im gonna go put my order in now.

Through our affiliate link with UA I picked up a pair of sneaks for daily wear, but I also picked up these babies for wearing with my eagles jersey on game days. It isnt exactly eagles green but I figured itd match well enough. If anyone else is interested use our link, and theres also a 30% off code right now so they come down to $70 with free shipping.

Still too early to guess what the landscape will be with the virus.

But I wish they would just cut the preseason games down to 2 and add another 2 weeks to camp/practice, especially this year.  There won't be any mini-camps, and by then (August) all players (new and old) will get much more from extended camp reps than the limited reps they might see in preseason games.  A third of the team has to learn new schemes.

The NHL is planning to return in mid-July. That's great news for all involved. The NHL is also more complicated than the NFL due to having so many international players, that require quarantine upon arrival. The NFL will be in good shape.

They're trying to, I have doubts they actually go through with it at this point since by the time it concludes they will basically be rolling right into the beginning of the 2020-2021 season

I didn’t realize until recently that the feet flatten and become wider and longer with age.  I’ve been dealing with a case of Morton’s Neuroma in my left foot and had to change to a wider toe box.

In my twenties and thirties I always wore a size 10 or 10.5 sneaker; now I’m up to a size 12W in my fifties.  Something for the younger folks to look forward to.

If they do end up capping stadiums to say 10,000, 20,000 or however many people, how would that work with season ticket holders? How do they determine which ones get to go to the games and which don't?

Ive always had a fairly wide foot. Not that I needed a special W size, but too wide for crappy Nike's to fit comfortably.

Ive loved my adidas recently but their bottoms are made of a foam material that just wears out too quickly and any time it rains outside I always slip and almost fall backwards every time I walk in to a building, even if a floor isnt really slippery, because my shoes are.

So Im going back to under armour. Helps that they have a great health care discount right now, and especially that it can now support the EMB through our new affiliate link.

Remains to be seen, and ideas have been discussed in here.

Probably the most fair is giving half of the games to half of the season ticket holders, and giving the other 4 games to the other half.

However, that may still be over capacity so not sure the most fair scenario is actually a realistic one.

Will be interesting to see.

Yea, i get that. I just hope the NFLPA doesn't go crazy and use the situation as leverage to work a better deal than the one they already agreed to.

This is absolutely true. I've gone from an 8 to an 8 1/2, perhaps even a 9 in some cases. Have also gone from a regular width to a wide width.

I also learned that there is very little uniformity between brands. One maker's 8 could be another's 9. Even different models from the same brand can vary significantly.

Half 4, half the other 4, two lotteries. Give them an option and deadline to make a decision, if they opt out for the season no penalty and they keep their original seat license for 2021.

I recognize that Carson’s WR weren’t good last year but the regression in his game isn’t good.

Care to go into depth on what regression you are specifically referring to?
