Hmm.  Feels like we've finally cut the cord.  Floating out in the ether. Anger at the faceless dismissal and marginalization of it's own fans by PE.com. But extreme gratitude for guys l

I mentioned this previously on this board, and in the past years ago on the other board.   I'm not sure Howie has ever come out and said it this plainly, but Howie is telling the truth here.

PFF is doing a top 50 players list. Not sure if it's strictly based on 2019 or the last couple years. Either way, Brandon Graham came in at 49. They revealed 50-35 so far.

Not surprising since PFF has always loved Graham's game.

They're "protesting" here in Scottsdale right now right down the road from where I live. Several windows broken at some businesses here.

Down in Tucson it was actually peaceful today besides some profanities flung at police officers and graffiti in downtown from what i saw. Last night broken windows and some spray paint and dumpster fires in downtown. 4 were arrested and one of them was a major felony.

however my sister lives in downtown Oakland. She was in her apartment saw the fire started with blowing up a car about 2 blocks away and the federal officer get murdered (Sent some disturbing video from her apartment) last night. Tonight she saw a protestor run over a women walking in the street.  the police were much more prepared tonight then they were last night as not as much looting.

I'm still working as my industry has been at least 50% busier than usual.  High volume liquor store.  My owners have 2 stores and both have been short staffed during this pandemic while we've been operating at a holiday week's pace (4th Of July or Thanksgiving week).  The other store has been more shorthanded and while all us managers are salary, they allowed for OT for managers now, but I'd rather have the more valuable commodity of time so I'm keeping my 2 days off as I have an ish ton of yard work to do.  My backyard is 120'x90' so mowing the yard takes over 45 minutes.  Then I have to rake it.  I have a 50'x8' garden I just planted (3rd year doing it) with mostly peppers and tomatoes, rosemary and green zucchini squash.  I did plant one row of sweet corn for the first time so see how that turns out.  I added an extra 18'x6' for watermelons this year.  I also have a small side garden along the house (2nd year for it) with leafy greens (Swiss Chard, kale and spinach) that I need to plant the next couple days.  Plus I need to put in Zoysia grass plugs and Creeping Red Fescue grass seed for the lawn and at least 4 other aesthetic garden/yard/lawn projects.  With nice weather forecast the next 2 days I expect to put in about 16 hours of yard work.  I like doing things myself.  Keeps me fit and the good feeling of a job well done, or at least just done.

That's awesome. Word of advice for the sweet corn in the future.  The corn will fertilize itself far more effectively if grown in a block versus a single row.  The recommendation is roughly 4 rows wide as a minimum.

Alternatively you can grow them in mounds along with beans and squash in the traditional 3 sister garden style... but that is a spacious undertaking.  Each mound is usually about 10 x 10.

Also, the spinach will bolt quickly in summer heat unless you have a very heat resilient cultivar.  Pick it early and often... think "baby spinach" leaves versus the full sized leaves.  Bolted greens (lettuce, spinach, cilantro) all get bitter.

As a school teacher of 20 years, I have seniority and as a science teacher would qualify as 'essential', my wife works as the librarian.  And as of right now, libraries are off limits in PA and according to CDC guidelines.

I've only got about 128 square feet of garden space for food... but I grow up when I can.  Peas are trellised, cucumbers, beans... all trellised.  Tomatoes in cages.   Planted leeks and bunching onions for the first time ever.  Have a few carrots for fun.  Lots and lots of beets.  Love beets.  It's a dual crop, so great for small space gardens.  I eat tops and bottoms.  I grow my own lettuce.  Have been getting some nice harvests of leaves... picked as needed to be eaten.  Nothing as rewarding as walking into the backyard, harvesting then then eating what you've grown (sometimes, as I stand right there!).

Full list:  peas, cucumbers, lettuce, beets, swiss chard, tomatoes, peppers, zucchini, green beans, leeks, bunching onions, chives, basil, spinach, celery, carrots, cilantro, kale, watermelon and for the very first time, tomatillos.

Wow. Pretty awesome for the space. Try five gallon buckets for tomatoes and peppers.  You can even grow squash, eggplant, cucumbers and beans in them.

Really like Sweat as a rotational DE. Really the only DE on the team with length, and he uses it well. Sad his knee is almost shot.

Also, is Shareef Miller still alive?

Miller must step up and perform this season to justify his draft status.

Miller looked good in the preseason and then he never got a chance. Although, the team was mostly healthy at DE.

I wouldn't get too down on him. For one, the Eagles developing a pretty good track record of refusing to play guys who are halfway good for players who are terrible, i.e. at LB, corner, WR and RB.

For another, the guys in front of Miller were doing really well, so it's not like he was Boston Scott getting passed over in favor of Sproles.

It's Jake, from State Farm.

Goedert is extension eligible after 2020 and Ertz will be going into the final year of his deal. If Howie is patient and doesn't sign Ertz before the end of the year, there's an opportunity to get one of them on a good deal as of January.

As much as I love Ertz, and want him to finish his potential HOF career with us, if the price is not right, then I would much rather invest in the younger Goedert and move on from Ertz.

I think, and hope, we are going to keep both. 12 personnel is the best base offense both tactically and from a cap perspective.

What happened in Scottsdale last night was a total embarrassment and nothing but losers trying to be opportunistic and take advantage of a terrible event. I don't know how much news this made nationally, but I live 800 feet from where this went down last night. This was NOT a protest, it was a riot. This was an attack on a community that caused destruction, vandalism, and robbery to businesses and local restaurants. There were a lot of productive and powerful protests in other cities across the country this weekend, but this sure as hell wasn't one of them. These people waited until 11pm last night when no one was around to come out like roaches and cause destruction. Had this happened during the day, Arizona is a constitutional carry state and any citizen would have been justified in putting a bullet in these people if they felt their lives were at risk.

The only message this sent was more hatred and hurt a lot of good, contributing people in this community.

Yeah was the same here on Friday. Waited until 930-10pm To come out then decided to be destructive.

don’t know if you saw the video of the guy in Dallas who was mobbed by 10-12 people and is likely to die as he was defending his store where he had rocks thrown at him and then jumped.

Man things are getting really bad, isn't this exactly the kind of stuff the 2nd amendment was put in place to protect you guys from. Gonna be hard to lecture China on HK when stuff like this is going on in-house.

We have a huge thread about it

That is inexcusable. It sure seems like the Minneapolis PD needs a house cleaning.

It's everywhere.  None of these "protests" are actually protests.  There have been 2 deaths and possibly a third already.  It's pathetic and sad.  Our country is falling apart at the seams and some people seem to love it.  Celebrities endorse it, the media defends it and if you criticize the acts happening then you are called a racist.  We are in a bad, bad place and I have no idea how you fix it.

I've always supported our police and still do but there are a lot more bad apples being exposed.  Somehow, a number of POS police officers are speaking for an entire race of white people.  This is NOT a white vs black issue if you ask me.  It's a police training, power hungry, alpha male with no good intentions thing.

We've had some protests over here, but if it's like they were a few years back, most people don't care other than right on millennials and the far left.

Moving on... It will be interesting to see if the NFL permit teams to host mini camps of some sort. With various team sports starting in Europe in the coming weeks, it will give a best practice template for NFL teams to follow. Life must move on at some point

That is criminal in my view.  No one has the right to fire on me when I am on my property obeying the law.  No American should face that sort of action.

Sadly, there has been quite a bit of criminal activity happening over the past week or so... one criminal act has led to innumerable criminal acts.  And the main perpetrator of the initial criminal act, is on suicide watch in his cell.

This might be the worst article I've ever seen written from the Associated Press.  Almost every paragraph is an example of how the media has angles.  They calmly mention deaths caused by the "protests" with a sentence but that's it.  Every single paragraph.  This is absolutely horrendous journalism and it's a prime example of how the media just keeps fanning the flames.
