It's a violation of Constitutional rights to shoot people sitting on their front porch.  It's inexcusable.  It speaks to poor training and a basic lack of human empathy.

I'm not saying it was justified or that I agree with it but you guys do realize they were paint ball guns, right?  I've seen that video on FB about a dozen times now and everyone that posts it fails to mention that they were paint ball guns being shot, not real guns.

I mentioned this previously on this board, and in the past years ago on the other board.   I'm not sure Howie has ever come out and said it this plainly, but Howie is telling the truth here.

Teams could still hold "non mandatory” camps, right?

Pretty sure no. In a normal year this would be the quiet period where players and coaches aren’t permitted to do anything. If anything this is when the players do things on their own like last year when Wentz did a retreat with the WRs and TEs.

The use of force was not justified and should not be tolerated.  It really doesn't matter what they were shooting.

I hope he's able to do that but he would likely have to travel to ND to host people.

Had this discussion with the wife. My opinion is it wouldn’t do a damn thing. I’m not even sure they could charge them with 3rd degree murder and have it stick which means if they arrested them now it would probably be for a lesser charge which would infuriate people more

Which officer was supposed to be in charge of the arrest scene?  That individual is at least guilty of criminally negligent homicide, as he had the responsibility to oversee the events taking place and intervene -- you'd think long before the bystanders were telling police how to do their jobs properly.

I haven't watched enough of the video to analyze what the other two cops did/did not do (don't really want to), but the fact that onlookers in the video wanted to intervene but couldn't is really damning to those other officers as well.  The police chief also said last night he views all four as equally guilty -- so that will ramp up the pressure to prosecute all four.

Where do you find these games?  The Body Bag game was a suggestion for me but i haven't seen too many others.

Yea, the real guns are for the "constitutional" carry states, like Kentucky, where 7 were killed 2 nights ago, and another last night in Louisville as police had to return fire while clearing a crowd.

Fun times.

Just watch one or two on you tube and then they will just start popping up as a suggestion for you to watch.

That must be why I was recommended by YouTube to watch Hitler Works At Pizza Hut .....

It was pretty damn funny

I absolutely agree all 4 should be prosecuted for something, I just think its past the point of it doing anything to quiet the protesters. Emotions are still very raw on this subject matter. Floyd's family and some others have come out and said they demand first degree murder charges for Chauvin which makes 0 sense. So will bringing in the other 3 and charging them with manslaughter hurt or help the situation? I think what they could realistically charge them with would probably be considered not enough and just agitate everything even further.

Knowing the other 3 officers are in custody and not chilling on their couches would make a difference to me.

Would it cause those who've been going out every night and peacefully protesting to stay in?  Would it make it easier to expose those who are there to take advantage of protests and burn and rob?

Maybe?  Who knows....

I’d be upset too if someone shot paintballs at me when I was sitting on my front porch.  At the same time, it should be stated that they were paint balls, not real guns/bullets.  Why make it seem like they were being shot at with real guns other than trying to add fuel to the fire and causing even more mass chaos/hysteria? It’s bad enough as it is, there’s no reason to try to embellish events, etc.

Dude, people aren't looting because all 3 aren't in jail. They are using it as an excuse.

What I hate is that we have fans all over who talk during the anthem, scream O during the anthem at an Orioles game, at Hershey Bears (AHL team) games they yell Go Bears DURING the anthem and countless other things that fans do that are just as bad if you ask me.  It's more of a performance now anyway.  You have to have fireworks during the anthem to match the words bombs bursting and people cheer.  It's become a joke.

Yup.  Kind of feel the same way with the Pledge with elementary kids every day most with no idea what pledge, allegiance, republic or indivisible mean. It’s rote at that point. The Anthem before games has become that too.

I read what you said and you alluded to it. Won't make an ounce of a difference.

And before the Keap stuff happened, nobody even saw the anthem as it happened during a commercial.

No one has the right to spray paint someone else’s  building or to fire any sort of projectile including paint at someone or someone else’s building when they are lawfully occupying their property. There may be an argument for enforcing the curfew imposed by the governor although curfew laws have mixed decisions from the courts on the level and extent that they are constitutional.   Being on your own front porch with friends is likely going to be viewed as protected under the First Amendments articulation of the right to assemble.  Even juvenile curfew laws are questionable if they don’t carve out specific exceptions for First Amendment protected rights.  Having grown up in turbulent times of protest in the sixties and early seventies and having seen curfews imposes as restrictions to minorities, I side on erring on the side of individual rights.  It is also not lost on me that actions taken with these protests do not look good in comparison to the reopen protests where we saw Confederate flags and assault weapon carrying individuals.   Now some may point to the looting and vandalism but I invite you to look at pictures of folks doing that criminal behavior. Plenty of folks from all races there.

You are just as right as me and we both hope for some kind of solution that stops this, but anarchists and people who want to steal are running the show at night now.

Making someone go into their house is technically arrest, no?

Randall's career was ruined in Philly because of the o-line.

I think it also made him that much more of a special player.  Could you imagine how his career would have gone with one of our O-lines past 2001 until now?    And with either Andy Reid or Doug Pederson coaching him?
