Nah, that’s my daughter.  She has an app she tracks beers she has had on.  32 and she has amassed quite a list.   Me, I am a simple man when it comes to beer.   My favorites are a nice wheat beer with a malt finish. Not a huge hops guy and really don’t like IPAs. Problem with a wheat beer is a pint fills you up like a meal.  I worked for a Swiss company and my Swiss and German colleagues taught me to like a good draw of a wheat beer. Problem was, then we would try to eat a meal and I would be full.

Without question. Who the heck started the Murray rumors anyway?  Could possibly be the worst 1st round pick in team history.  (Based on current need/scheme fit).

Murray would ne an excellent addition to the team, but we have larger needs.

Was watching the 2017 draft the other night when they took Barnett.  Seeing who was still available I wish they took Marlon Humphrey instead.

I’m watching too. I remember not being thrilled but 14.5 sacks as a senior while still raw, played QB in HS. It had to have been a mental thing with him. His ceiling looked higher than Barnett’s....

 But there’s a difference between "reaching” and just poor talent evaluation. And, it depends on how far you reach. 
 

most people are talking about dropping back a handful of spots to get a 2nd tier WR with "value”  because 21 is too rich for a Mims or Reagor or Shenault. I have no problem "reaching” by half a round and leaving some value on the table if the Eagles like a guy. 
 

what I definitely don’t want is them reaching to take a guy they don’t really like out of positional desperation. But in that case, if you only like a handful of WRs, you’d better do everything reasonable to jump up and get one of them (not that I think this is the case).

I think this team as a whole will have some growing pains this year, on both sides of the ball. There will be a shortened offseason and teams probably won’t be able to get together until August with camp possibly not starting until Labor Day. That’s just my guess. 
 

There’s going to be younger WRs expected to contribute, a new LT, and new play callers/leaders in the back 7 of the defense. 
 

And that’s OK because when things are hopefully back to normal by 2021 there shouldn’t be as many question marks or growing pains. 
 

To me, this is a year to get ready for 2021. 

It's damn frustrating now knowing if there will even be a season this year.

I mean, almost every conversation about the Eagles has some facet of the time frame involved.  And we have to just assume things will get back to normal at some point.

But it might not be that simple.  Really hope some genius med student comes up big in the next few months...

I actually would like a corner. Maddox is currently the outside starting corner opposite of slay. Jones has shown nothing and douglas is likely gone. We could use a young corner and not just expect jones to have the light switch turn on or maddox to be good on the outside

Yea, I think he's def moved onto greener pastures... 

Gotta say you guys really got into some epic moments with him back in the day.  I remember lurking the blog and just sitting there with my popcorn as the fireworks flew.

Exactly.  And we can get a LB based on scheme/fit in the later rounds.  I’m sure Murray will turn out to be a very good player.  I just don’t see it happening here, not when we can get someone that fits the scheme 3-4 rounds later.

I think S needs to be either the #53 or #103 pick.  Dugger, Davis, Winfield or Chinn would be nice

At this time tomorrow at least half of the board will be pissed about the pick and due to the wisdom of the NFL have a full day to stew over one pick.
