100% agreed. I’m a Wallace stan so I’d add him at 103 and on if he lasts

I mentioned this previously on this board, and in the past years ago on the other board.   I'm not sure Howie has ever come out and said it this plainly, but Howie is telling the truth here.

So I think it was Baldinger today mentioned the Draft is going to be an ESPN presentation only.  Does that means Eisen and Jeramiah and Coach Shaw won't be reacting to the picks?

We have to watch Cowboy fan WIngo and I wanna Kiss you Suzy Kolber and their friend Booger all night?

Yea, I think he's def moved onto greener pastures...

Gotta say you guys really got into some epic moments with him back in the day.  I remember lurking the blog and just sitting there with my popcorn as the fireworks flew.

He did draw attention to some interesting prospects but he was an awful evaluator of talent.  Loved watching Ghor and him go at it.

Safety is one of those positions I feel like they could use a day 2 pick on or not draft one at all.

I don’t think a safety tandem of McLeod and Mills will be bad. You can certainly win that tandem if the pass rush is good and the outside CBs aren’t burnt toast.

At this time tomorrow at least half of the board will be pissed about the pick and due to the wisdom of the NFL have a full day to stew over one pick.

So who is everyone’s realistic nightmare pick for the first round? I’m going Yeuter Gross Matos

Hamler. I don't mind him in the second but in the first? Nah.

My personal favorite was the ire he drew from @greend and @Veejer.

Ah, I’m ok with that then.  Obviously trying to leak out some disinformation for Howie.  Well played, well played. ;)

Nah, that’s my daughter.  She has an app she tracks beers she has had on.  32 and she has amassed quite a list.   Me, I am a simple man when it comes to beer.   My favorites are a nice wheat beer with a malt finish. Not a huge hops guy and really don’t like IPAs. Problem with a wheat beer is a pint fills you up like a meal.  I worked for a Swiss company and my Swiss and German colleagues taught me to like a good draw of a wheat beer. Problem was, then we would try to eat a meal and I would be full.

I've never had that problem.

As for your preferences, we could bend an elbow together.  I went through my preferences a while ago.  I like malty, dark and a good feel.  My favorites are always the Scottish ales, but had a bourbon barrel aged ale (Lexington Brewing puts it out), which is an Irish style red that's aged in a Bourbon barrel for 6 weeks... and that might actually be my all-time favorite.  Gotta watch it though... over 8% APV.  So, it's a little higher than your standard hefeweizen.

I’ll be the only one who would LOVE the Hamler pick at 21 and I’ll love it even more because everyone else will hate it. God, that’d be so much fun.

Want hamler not at all

I only interacted with him for a brief time, but he lost all credibility in my eyes when he started pushing that dog whipping turd WR from Baylor a few years back.  That guy’s game tape was dreadful

That’s who my guy is at 103 if he’s on the board. I love wallace.

Was your long term plan for Brady and Gronk to go to the Bucs and then come back here?

Think I'm kinda with you here too.  I remember before we drafted DJack, there were fans complaining he was too small and wouldn't last in the NFL.

Mostly it's because we need to come out of the 1st with a WR, and I'm assuming if Hammlers the pick than ALL the other guys went before 21.

What is our current DB depth chart?  I'll take a stab:

CB1: Slay | Douglas

CB2: Jones | Maddox

CB3: NRC | LeBlanc

FS: McLeod | Maddox

SS: Mills | Parks | Ford

We definitely need a new starting S as its likely either McLeod gets old or expensive, or Mills doesn't pan out.

Also could use a potential starting CB as who knows if anyone will step up and secure the other outside CB spot.  Apparently we're trying to trade Rasul Douglas so he won't be here.

We also need an EDGE rusher and 1 or 2 LBs.

Many many needs, not enough premium picks.

He just enjoyed trolling everybody with a nice sadistic quality to him, but he was no doug. That lunatic was from a whole different planet.

We got DJax in Rd. 2.  Hamler should go in the same area.  Would love to have him with our 2nd rounder.

Hell no in the 1st.

Tremon Smith could be a decent add at CB.

And I think Epps would be more in line for backup safety than the STer Ford.

Hamler would be an instant upgrade to this offense. There’s no debating that in the slightest. His only slight negative is he doesn’t have a ton of reps from the outside. Not worried about his hands.

Even in 2017 the only negative I could say about this offense is they didn’t have that one player who could take a screen pass, end around, or basically any Route/play, beat a guy or two, and take it to the house. Torrey Smith was a one trick pony. Desean Jackson doesn’t have the RAC ability he had on his younger days.

And I would bookmark this post for the GDT for when he catches TDs from Wentz.
