I mentioned this previously on this board, and in the past years ago on the other board.   I'm not sure Howie has ever come out and said it this plainly, but Howie is telling the truth here.

Hopefully not. 6 days until I can get my haircut if I can get an appointment.

I bought clippers and actually became quite good at giving myself a fade.  Could save some money now.

As for the rest, all the time youve spent bishing about a link I dont care to find for you because Ive already seen it, could have been spent finding the link yourself and becoming informed.

And, you cant read. Maybe try re-reading some previous posts and see if you can spot all your mistakes.

Don’t worry man, nobody on the boards sees through this to the blatant and obvious conclusion that you’re covering up the inadequacy of your original position with deflection and ad hominem bs. Your secret is safe.  Phew.

some of us around here, including me, thought you were better than this or at least intellectually honest. Pity.

I’m willing to support everything I’ve said. You won’t. What I’ve said is backed up by a meticulous timeline that demonstrates I am informed. You’re not. I’m talking about facts and logic and backing it up with sources. You’re claiming to not have a video you’ve seen that’s widely available, and deflecting with personal attacks in your little sandbox.  Can’t read blah blah blah, sure that’s why I have the job I do. Be better than bs deflection that does nothing but expose yourself as a hack. You’re the only one slinging mud and going personal. Again, be better.

All your defense mechanisms right on cue-

i don’t have time to find a link (despite wasting hours on this board as we all do)

you can’t read! (Despite the obvious and the fact that you like everything I write when I’m agreeing with you)

Everything I bolded is wrong (despite the fact that I can’t say how or why)

(see how easy that is?!)

I never said there wasn't police brutality it happens to everyone and does need to be fixed

As far as racism it exists in every race its not just a white thing

I think the most important thing we could do is stop with black and white thing thru TV and the media

How many times do you hear the first time in history a black man did this or a white man did that

The media is constantly saying black or white

We need to look at each other as just Americans or people and judge somebody by who they really are instead of color

To tell someone to shut up and listen won't fix it

Americans need to come together and and try to fix it.

Im glad youre proud of whatever job you have but theres a lot of people in high positions who cant read or write well. My boss has tons of mistakes in the emails she sends out. be better.

On another politicized topic, Im very happy to see the hydroxychloroquine study is redacted from Lancet.

Its really shameful that the media put all over the TVs and computers that hydroxychloroquine seems to increase mortality rate when in fact the hospitals using this were using it only for emergency use which means the patients getting it were already close to death. It was an observational study that, surprise surprise found that many of the nearly dead people that got hydroxychloroquine still ended up dying.

It still wasnt a double blind randomized controlled trial.  It was a low level study with a selection bias. Media should be smarter. And maybe they are but they were more worried about spreading a negative message about a drug just because Trump touted it.

Hopefully it will still have the chance to be properly studied. We shouldnt just be throwing things out just because it spites the president. We should want our doctors to treat us with evidence based medicine rather than making decisions based on their politics.

Time to call it a day on this.  Capitalizing a** and saying "wrong” over and over again doesn’t change that. Just obvious deflection.  Here you go, educate yourself and you can stop sounding ignorant.

Apparently you dont watch the videos you post as evidence that you think supports you.

3:10 "floyd tells the officers he is claustrophobic, refusing to enter the police car. During the struggle..." the quote continues. In your video here a police car is obscuring the view. But this "struggle" is depicted in the video I watched from another unobscured angle.

3:31 "Nine minutes in to the arrest a 3rd police car arrives on the scene.... Chauvin becomes involved in the struggle to get Floyd in to the car.

3:52 is a clip from the video I watched. "Security footage from cup foods shows Kunig(?) struggling with Floyd in the back seat."

At 5:51 you can hear the officer say something to him about resisting arrest.

At 6:41 the narrator reads "Minneapolis police policy states an officer can only do this (knee on neck)if someone is actively resisting." Which, Floyd clearly did. For about 10 minutes or more...

maybe give it up now? You proved yourself wrong. Yes there is video of the struggle. Yes, Floyd was resisting for a prolonged period of time.

I suppose Chauvin lost his cool and pulled him out of the vehicle when he had enough of the struggle. Inexcusable to kill him. He probably deserved a minor clubbing. However if he would have just sat in the car he wouldnt be dead, businesses would have been saved. Other officers and protesters lives would have been saved... How many examples of black guys getting killed by police does he need before he was going to learn to just cooperate so he can stay alive?

The goal is to have have results commensurate with effort and ability. You offer a juvenile false dichotomy

what we strive for is what the system should offer. Opportunity and accountability

Right, so again the issue is your ignorance of proper procedure and cherry picking from this situation.

2:35:  The officers yank floyd out of the car, cuff his hands behind his back, and put him against a wall.

2:44:  "even though the police were expecting this situation, we can see that Floyd HAS NOT ACTED VIOLENTLY and third, that he seems to already be in distress.”

3:09:  Floyd falls to the ground and says he is claustrophobic.  This is not resistance, particularly when an arrestee is already in distress.

4:00:  Chauvin pulls him THROUGH THE CAR AND ON TO THE STREET.

No police department or federal agent could properly view this as active resistance, he fell to the ground. Later, he was already in the car you said he should have been thrown into.  Chauvin pulled him out.

So lets just discuss your ignorant view on this.  Your first post was that he resisted in a way that should have resulted in an officer dead-legging him with a baton and throwing him into a car.  In reality we was already restrained and compliant (against the wall at 2:35) and further use of force, or the baton, is blatantly illegal.  You further state they should have thrown him into a larger car.  He was IN A LARGER CAR and pulled out and to the street for reasons that aren’t clear.

Floyd simply did not "actively resist” for ten minutes or more.  There is no defending that statement.  Active resistance is not sitting against a wall, it’s not laying across the back seat of a squad car, and its not laying face down in cuffs.  Read escalation of force manuals.  The conscious and unconscious restraint-

1. Isn’t what Chauvin did (commonly an arm across the neck to apply carotid pressure)

2. Must be released upon compliance (roughly 9 minutes worth here, even if you accept your absurd definition of "resisting arrest”

3. Must be released and cannot be used on a handcuffed suspect.

4. Carotid holds are taught and well known to have potential to cause brain hypoxia and cannot be justified for 9 minutes under any circumstance.

Sooo...yeah.  Try again.  Swing and a miss.  No video of evidence of active resistance, nine minutes of handcuffed compliance, illegal tactic = murder.  Time to move on man.  Stick to medicine.

wrong. Youre being purposefully ignorant. Thats annoying and wastes everyone's time.

In your whole long post theres only one thing youre right about, and that is that Chauvin should have released the hold when Floyd was compliant. Thats why I asked what the plan/next step was from there- what was he waiting for?

Ill ask for an answer from a different current of former LEO because youre a goofball and your answer wont be worth a single piece of poop.

You’re just wrong man.  I posted facts. They’re not "wrong” because you don’t like them.  Purposefully ignorant?  By quoting the exact times and not manipulating quotes as you did?

The personal attacks are still not helping.  You can still be better than that.  The actions you suggested this morning (batoning a handcuffed suspect) would amount to a constitutional violation and excessive use of force. Full stop. Read the law, read the policy, read the precedent. They’re all against you.

im serious, this isn’t opinion.  Read continuum of force training, read de-escalation policies, read about carotid holds. These are not grey areas, your self-righteousness aside.

He should have released the hold?  Floyd was compliant minutes earlier and then again in the backseat of the car. The part you’re refusing to acknowledge is that he was COMPLIANT AND IN THE BACK SEAT.  He never should have been pulled out, he never should have been in the hold in the first place. The hold was applied to a compliant suspect. It doesn’t matter what happened ten minutes earlier. Resistance becomes irrelevant when it stops. Whether it’s one or ten minutes before.

we’re talking past each other and I’m done with you. The truth is out there if you cared to see it. You think he should have been thrown into a car?  He was in a car. You think he resisted arrest?  Not by any recognized definition. It’s simply not the law or the policy. That truth is there when you decide to open your eyes. Your suggestions this morning were, and remain, wrong. Both factually and legally.
