Michael must have been hanging out with Bobby this offseason.

I feel like he's the type of guy to say that just because he knows it will piss people off

I mentioned this previously on this board, and in the past years ago on the other board.   I'm not sure Howie has ever come out and said it this plainly, but Howie is telling the truth here.

Excellent

If we can have thousands and thousands of people in the streets body to body protesting, we can have NFL players conducting offseason/preseason activities in their facilities like things are normal. The virus doesn’t have a moral compass to spare those marching for a cause.

I've never in my life seen a more reasonable statement get more blown out of proportion and twisted up than Drew Brees has.  You would think Brees said FU black players, no kneeling, no justice.  Good lord.

The protest matters more than football. People know what they’re risking when they go out to protest. NFL players don’t need to take that risk.

We'll see in about a week I think. If there's a spike nationally(because of the protests) then there's going to be a lot of changes everywhere IMO

Come to think about it the same would happen globally since other nations protested as well. Curious if we'll see a spike from all of this. I hope not though

Dont know if its been mentioned. Anyone have raegor on instagram? Saw him practicing in Houston and saw what looked to be Carson Wentz. Im glad to see that.

It’s extremely hypocritical as well. If people want others to listen and educate themselves, you need to be open and tolerant to the fact that there are going to be people out there who aren’t educated on the matter. Those people shouldn’t be tarred and feathered after they admit that they needed to learn more about the issues.

And to some people their business and livelihoods matter more than the protest, but they shut those down.

I’m not getting into the merits of the protests. They’re obviously for a good cause. But scientifically, this whole Corona thing and how they’ve told us to handle it seems very hypocritical with what’s going on now. You can’t tell someone that they needed to close down their small business yet be okay with 100,000 people in the streets.

He will be forgiven over time with action. Do you believe his opinion took a 180 over night? Of course people aren’t ready to accept his apology.

Agree that the protest is bigger than football.  I guarantee you 50% of the people protesting didn't think twice about risking themself or anyone else for that matter.

You're thinking sashimi. Sushi rice is cooked. But other than that, yeah. This draft emphasized athleticism over refined skills. Howie and, I think Doug said, "let's give the coaches talent to work with. Coach them up." A lot of fans and pundits will be labelling this a bust class after six weeks, I expect, when they'll just be getting started.

Miles Sanders was labelled a bust by some last season in the first quarter to half of the season.

I’m sorry were you not here a month ago when there were protests for small businesses to reopen?

I was. And those people who were protesting for that got labeled as "Gradma killers” and selfish.

You mean he might be a guy who creates problems in the locker room?  Never would have guessed it. Seattle dumped him for peanuts.  Eagles dumped him, and then Pats suspended him.  He's just not a guy you want to have in a locker room if you want harmony and teamwork.

We can have fans in the stands and don't need mail in voting either. Life should pretty much go back to normal at this point and what happens happens. If it gets bad it will hopefully burn out. We did the quarantine now it's time to do the herd and I don't want to hear liberals politicians saying a word.

I mean there's fundamentally a difference in protesting and operating a business.  The virus doesn't discriminate but certainly the law treats those things differently.  I think if we don't see a tremendous spike in cases then, then maybe we can be more optimistic.  There were also more of those protesters wearing masks but it seems like in many areas they were more of them than the re-open protesters.

What is this sudden obsession over mail in voting? Absentee ballots have always been allowed.  They are probably the biggest reason Lincoln was re-elected in 1864.

States were talking about going to mostly mail in voting.

Malik Jackson is just using it as cannon fodder. Athletes hold grudges or conjure up things to justify being angry at opposing players all the time for a competitive edge.

Now  non footballer people who dont have any reason to not accept Brees apology are just Trolls.

That's probably a good thing.  I mean it makes it safer for people.  What's the problem with it? We have been doing it as a country for more than 100 years without issues of fraud.

Because of covid people didnt want to go to the polls so mail in voting was an easy effective alternative.

It wasnt a big deal until trump and the GOP the majority of whom mail in vote opened their ignorant pie holes and started crying about voter fraud in an effort to suppress the vote in their favor.
