Id love to be able to vote with an app on the cell phone. But of course the russians and democrats would find a way to hack it.

I know you're saying this tongue firmly in cheek...but it does seem to be funny that the GOP has some people convinced that the Democrats would be the only party trying to meddle in elections, as if both sides haven't done it over history.

I mentioned this previously on this board, and in the past years ago on the other board.   I'm not sure Howie has ever come out and said it this plainly, but Howie is telling the truth here.

So Kempski has Barbre as a comp for Driscoll. I don’t see it. I would go with Joel Bitonio.  Maybe a bit of Evan Mathis. The "trunk” on Driscoll fits them better I think.

Bottom line,  with today's technology, there should be no reason one should have to stand in line for hours ,in all kinds of conditions.

Ironically the ones complaining about voter fraud ,are the ones who vote by mail. Starting with Trump, he has voted by mail 11 times last 10 years.

This is a turnout concern, issue, as in more Democrats will vote by mail , for reasons I shouldn't have to explain.

I typically vote in Canada at advanced polls; I vote days or weeks before Election Day and the voting process takes less than 10 minutes because there are usually less than 10 people there

Again there is lots of unnecessary debating happening.

No two retinas are the same, put them all on file, create a app to read them and log them. And if you don't register yours ,you cant vote.

Every retina will be attached to a SS number.

Instead we stand in line,in bad weather, for hours...and poke holes in a piece of paper or color a block in.. we can do better than that.

So you think Republicans are too stupid to do it?

Republicans aren't tech savy?

Circling somewhat back to football...

I'll tell you what I'd do if I were Lurie.  I'd get Kaepernick on the phone and bring him in as our backup QB (in this alternate reality, we also didn't blow a 2nd round pick on a backup QB).

I'd tell him the following...look, I respect the flag and I love my country.  I want everyone to stand, hand over heart.  But it breaks my heart that you and a massive community of Americans feel oppressed and ashamed of this country.  We aren't going to make this country perfect, but our franchise and our country is going to go on an all out blitz in the coming years to make this right.  What's it going to take to make you encouraged by the progress and proud to be an American?  You are 32 and have a few years left as a #2 QB.  Kneel as you see fit and as is your right.  But I want to cross that finish line before you retire.  I want to see you standing up for the anthem, hand over heart, and proud of it...in my franchise's uniform.  It would be an iconic moment in sports history and...😂....more importantly, is going to put money in my wallet and make every FA want to play here.

I routinely stand in line well over one hour.

Could just spread it out over time, but then we have to trust election officials not to leak data.

Kaepernick is fine where is

Believe it or not, most people in this country are not extremists.  That's just who shouts the loudest.

The moderate left and moderate right have a lot of great points on their platforms.

Things get unnecessarily contentious and partisan when good people start to see the other side as extreme.  A reasonable person who is left of center starts to see all conservatives as racist hateful people who want to disenfranchise minorities.  A reasonable person right of center sees liberals as flag burning, America hating communists who want to steal their wealth.

Those extremists exist, but this country needs to realize that moderate republicans and moderate democrats (at the personal, not politician level) have more in common with each other than they do with the extremists of their respective parties.  The rigid line between like minded people of different political persuasions is unfortunate.

I said something similar to this a while back but wasn't worded as well.  How do we give a voice to the moderates so we can work together?  The extremists are the ones who are running the show and like you said shouting the loudest.

Maybe I should go on a good ol’ fashioned rant about how establishing the run isn’t necessary and has no effect on play-action passing. It’s been a couple of months...

I think the extremists own most of the media now.

It would be nice if the moderates would speak up and the extremists would shut up.  But, right now, the moderates are being shouted down by extremists and are being called Racist.   Take the mayor of Minneapolis, as an example.   I wouldn't exactly even call him a moderate.  But he dared to say that he didn't support the full abolishment of the police force, and was summarily and literally, jeered out of the public eye.

Nice read with nothing else going on.

4. Andy Reid

Reid is the first offensive coach to modernize the NFL since Walsh and Gibbs.

Reid was Mike Holmgren’s assistant coach on the Packers from 1992 to 1998. And Holmgren was Bill Walsh’s assistant coach on the 49ers from 1986 to 1988. So Reid comes from the Walsh tree. But Reid diverged where others didn’t, others such as Holmgren, Jon Gruden and Steve Mariucci. Those three were more faithful to Walsh’s original West Coast Offense. Reid took the West Coast Offense and blended it with new-age spread-offense concepts that have taken over college football the past 15 years. Stuff Chip Kelly tried to bring to the NFL, but failed.

Kelly’s offense was too simple -- he called the same few plays over and over. And he constantly used a hurry-up offense, which forced his defense to play most of the game. He had a gimmick. Reid took parts of Kelly’s gimmick and added them to an already-dense West Coast Offense playbook. Added the zone reads, the run-pass options, the shifts and the motions. And now when you think of Andy’s Reid’s offense, you think of little Tyreek Hill running around behind the line of scrimmage causing the defense to panic before the play even starts. Reid made the game smaller and faster -- defenses have to match up with Hill and players like him. Call it small ball.

Every team wants its own Tyreek Hill. Its own gadget player who can play wide receiver or running back. That’s Deebo Samuel on the 49ers. Any team that doesn’t use lots of motions and shifts before the snap probably will fire its offensive coordinator soon. He’s outdated.

So I wonder how long we have to wait until we find out who the Eagles will choose from the free agent running back pool?

That's part of the problem. Moderates by nature don't want to get involved
