I'm interested in Freeman if he comes dirt cheap, which isn't likely. Everyone else out there, meh.

I'm much more interested in seeing what Clement/Warren can show over somebody like McCoy. Holyfield and Killins don't do much for me.

freeman turned down 4million/ year from the seahawks, i cant imagine the eagles would offer him more to be a backup and id doubt hed take it.

When hes sitting around on his couch week 2 his price will drop or a team that has lost RBs to injury will pay him

Other than that hes not getting paid what he wants.

The days of RBs being highly valued commodities is long gone.

I still think eagles stick with what they got at RB.

Sanders and Scott get the bulk of the carries the 3rd RB will boil down to Clement, holyfield, Warren, killens.

I think Clement can still be effective in a limited role as the 3rd back. In 2017 he was excellent in that role.

I think the 4th back will be Warren and if they keep a 5th RB it will be killens as a special teamer gadget guy.

If not whats wendell smallwood up to these days?😉

I mentioned this previously on this board, and in the past years ago on the other board.   I'm not sure Howie has ever come out and said it this plainly, but Howie is telling the truth here.

I’m excited to see what Warren brings to the table and to see if Clement can get back to his Super Bowl form.

As far as Killins goes, the kid has amazing speed.  If he can demonstrate the ability to return kicks, I think he has a shot.  If he can double down by returning punts as well, I think he should make the roster.

I know a lot of us have a sour taste in our mouth after what happened with Pumphrey but....

A. Killins is an undrafted free agent so it’s a win-win if he makes the team.

B.  Killins is apparently really strong for his size and weight...which could help with durability issues.

i like killens, when one has a guy as small as killens or pumphrey that dude better have elite speed.

Pumphrey didnt have elite speed or elite anything killens at least has the speed.

Yeah, that's really what made the Pumphrey pick so dumb. To take a 170 lb. RB with 4.48 speed (btw plays waaay slower than that; compare Pumphrey's on-field burst to Sanders'...) is an objectively bad pick from a process perspective.

Conversely, I thought the Hollins pick that year was fantastic process-wise. 6'4" ST demon with big play upside... Shame about the injuries and poor coaching he got after 2017. Really thought he was on his way to becoming a great role player.

Maybe I should go on a good ol’ fashioned rant about how establishing the run isn’t necessary and has no effect on play-action passing. It’s been a couple of months...

Might catch a couple of younguns with that bait

Agree that Clement will get a long look as #3.  Then Warren.  Killins can stay at PS for evaluation.  Not sure what Holyfield could bring, but they like him enough to carry him last season.

Also wonder what is Smallwood is up to these days.

I would die a happy man tomorrow landing that SOB.

Look at that.  No social distancing, no masks.  Coronavirus concerns are now dead.

What do you think happened to Bacarty1?

I'm sure Twitter banned him already.

I've never had it so I dont know... how is marlin as an eating fish?

Always wanted to catch a blue marlin.  They typically aren't considered a fish for eating, pure game fish, but I'm sure some people do it.

Welp, I guess we will continue to see the Coronavirus rate in NC climb.

I think it depends what Killins looks like in preseason. If he rips off a couple explosive plays in limited touches, there is a good chance that some team will claim him. Speed is just that valuable.

We really need Killins to show potential as a return man so we can justify keeping him on the 53 man roster.

Yea, if he shows an ounce of potential and the ability to be a home run threat you probably want to find a way to keep him on the team/IR him.  Look at the road Raheem Mostert took.  He showed potential as a rookie here but then it took him time to find a role.  I think we would all love if the Eagles had kept him.

Well, North Carolina has been rapidly increasing in infections so....

Smallwood is a FA. I probably don’t want him but he might be a better option than McCoy

Seeing people on top of each other like that in a crowd; to watch someone take a fish home is aggravating.

Did I just sacrifice 3 months of my life, a large portion of my income for the year, plus substantial net worth for nothing?   Like seriously. 🤷🏻‍♂️

It’s one thing to go out and protest for a cause. (Although I don’t agree with people not wearing masks, etc or looting when they do) but it’s an entire "F-you society” when people are literally on top of each other, applauding someone for a fish.

The NFL, the NBA, MLB,  NHL are jumping through hoops just so they can show us some games on tv, with maybe with a few fans in attendance and these knuckleheads are out there cheering someone on for a fish....literally on top of each other.

If there’s a huge spike in the spread,  thanks to the actions of people like this, there’s a chance we won’t have an NFL season, etc.

They weren't cheering the fish.  They were just cheering seeing Michael Jordan.  That was all about the celebrity... not the catch of the day.  As marlins go... it wasn't even that impressive.

I wouldn’t but I’ve seen people eat worse. I went out twice for a Blue but wasn’t able to hook on one. My last big trip was Mahi out of Islamorada and that was a blast.

I get that.  Does it make it any better?

Anyway, I don’t mean to be hypocritical since I’m taking my son to Universal Studios today.  But Universal Studios (at least) has implemented requirements such as face masks and they take our temperature before admittance.  I know it’s not perfect but at least they have guidelines.  And I’ve already explained to my son that if I see people there all over each other, we aren’t staying.  It’s a matter of principle at this point, imo.

Anyway, that’s the first thing I saw when I logged onto the Blog this morning.  Rant over.

Half of them probably aren't even Carolina fans.

It's a good question.  The hope is that by staying home people have flattened the transmission rate.  I think that would continue if people continue to use common sense like masks and social distancing.  I guess common sense it too much to hope for.

A lot of people are inconsiderate, and it's only being highlighted even more now. Unfortunately it is what it is at this point.

My "net worth" has bounced back pretty decently. But your original point is correct. I can't get any of our stupid customers to wear masks anymore, but we have to.

The selfishness of people who can’t be bothered to wear a mask during a pandemic is infuriating.
