Love that clip. I don't think Sherman knew where he was for a minute.

I mentioned this previously on this board, and in the past years ago on the other board.   I'm not sure Howie has ever come out and said it this plainly, but Howie is telling the truth here.

Love Bowden - you can manufacture touches, even at RB, while he develops

I don't miss Andy's cavalcade of third round misses.  Te'O, Bryan Smith, Tony Hunt, Ryan Moats, Billy McMullin.

I'll throw second rounder Matt McCoy in as well.

Only found out a few months ago that he died. Really F'd up story.

What came out of it? Last I remember it was just natural causes with no real explanation

I quit watching hockey to a large extent in about '97, but during my time as an NHL fan the best in that era IMO:

1973 - 1979    Dave Schultz

1980 - 1983   Clark Gillies

1983 - 1988   Behn Wilson

1989 - 1995   Bob Probert

I remember a game against the Canadiens. Jan Van Boxmeer dropped the gloves on Schultz, who knocked him cold with a left hook. When Van Boxmeer came to he found he'd been whistled for five minutes for fighting.

So if we stay at 21, it would be like 10:15-10:30ish? I would hate to watch sports in the Eastern time zone (I’m central).

Watching sports on West Coast time is so good. I can actually stay up after SNF/MNF

A sleeper imo , is Cephus , I think he can be a stud.

Cephus has grown on me as a late pick maybe 4th or 5th.

It's been mostly debunked

Not that I'm against prayer, at all -- but I prefer this kind of post-game interaction to the 30 guys all kneeling down in their circle ......

Ok thank God. Because if true I mean that makes Dillard a huge mistake.

OK, dude.  Still not 100% it's actually you.  As Kasanova said, it's easy now to fake this nowdays.

But if it is you, I'm curious to know what you got up to after you left the EMB.  I gotta admit liked your takes, and your Bucs talk and trolling guys always gave me a chuckle, even if it crossed the line sometimes.  So I give you credit for coming back.  Wish you'd use your old name and tag, but whatever.

And 1 more thing...  If the Tom Brady Bucs don't fall on their faces and Arians manages to put together a contender, you damn well better live up to your rep here and at least change your fav team.

Well there goes that option. Not that I was sold on the idea but it was an option.

Howie better get 2 this weekend then!

Total Confessions time:

  1.  Which player that the Eagles took were you MOST disappointed in and were RIGHT?
  2.  Which player did you ABSOLUTELY think the Eagles HAD TO GET, they didn't and he turned out to be a complete BUST?
  3. Which player were you disappointed the Eagles took and were WRONG?

For me:

1. Trevor Laws - waited throughout the entire first round... only to have them grab Trevor Laws with their first pick that year.  (I really wanted Eddie Royal, but we did get Desean Jackson two picks later).

2.  I thought Justin Blackmon was going to be an absolute stud.  Wow, that didn't turn out well, glad the Eagles didn't make that mistake.

3.  I didn't get the Shawn Andrews pick at the time.  It turned out well, until his back and his head went out.

1. Tie i hated both Matthews and agholor picks. Matthews i wanted allen Robinson when they moved up. Agholor i just thought wasn’t nearly as good as the hype surrounding him by draft time.

2. I really didn’t want hicks but he was good when healthy. I wanted Sammie coates

3. I’d say graham but its cause i really wanted Thomas. So a better one I’d say is seumalo. I didn’t love that pick and he’s become a solid starting guard.

Yea, thinking the same thing.  The injuries were a factor, but apparently not for Belichick, who already has N'Keal, Sanu, and Edelman.

Sounds like a nightmare to me.

1.  Freddie Mitchell.  Nothing about that guy was special. Honorable mention to Hicks.  I was WTF, an oft injured LB then it looked like he might prove me wrong but then the injuries showed up again.
2.  So many I am embarrassed to say.  Probably HaHa Clinton Dix. I really thought here is Dawk 2.0.  Instead a journeyman almost good enough S.  Not a flat out bust but seems to me he is for where he was picked.

3. Trent Cole.  Disagreed with Tommy on this.  Undersized for a DE and couldn’t cover so he would flop at LB.  Then at camp I saw his lean and thought I could have been wrong about this guy.   Now folks may thinking, BigE he was a fifth round pick but anyone that has watched me on this Blog knows I love the later rounds and UDFAs because that is when teams can really strike gold. My latest miss on this was Pryor. I think my comment was that he was a slug.  Has taken me a long time but I have come to realize I should never doubt Stout.

So just like every year

Who were some of everyone's favorite UDFA signings of all time? successful or not. Here's a few of mine since about 2010 or so on.

Walter Mendenhall was Rashard's brother, just hoping he was good.

DeAndre Brown from Southern Miss, big WR 6'4"? was a stud in college until he broke his leg in half, literally.

Graig Cooper RB from Miami

Cliff Harris DB from Oregon

Trey Burton, Biased but he turned out just fine.

Devante Davis a big WR from UNLV

Byron Marshall RB from Oregon

Jerod Evans a QB from Va Tech Broke a bunch of records and left way too early, thought he might grow into a solid backup.

Jeremy Reaves Safety from South Alabama. Some Draft people had him as a 3rd round grade, i thought he was making this team and taking the 3rd safety role. Is he even in the league anymore?

So Kiper's latest draft has us passing on Ruggs ... at 21 ...  for Kenneth Murray.
