Hmm.  Feels like we've finally cut the cord.  Floating out in the ether. Anger at the faceless dismissal and marginalization of it's own fans by PE.com. But extreme gratitude for guys l

I mentioned this previously on this board, and in the past years ago on the other board.   I'm not sure Howie has ever come out and said it this plainly, but Howie is telling the truth here.

Jason Peters time at RG would be a tough ask. New position and new side.

Peters LG, Seumalo RG. Hasnt Seumalo played both sides?

Yeah plus he also tends to miss time and snaps. So even if you have him do it he’s not exactly reliable in performance at RG or staying out there for every snap.

Love Brandon but 3rd major injury in the last 24 months.

He signs the extension and it’s one major  injury after another... It’s unbelievable. Such a major blow to this offense. It’s depressing

Fing 2020

And theres no season 2 of Messiah either.

WTF. I guess better now so we can plan for his loss. Pryor at RG?

Seems I need to go back on another rant about people dismissing Miles Sanders too soon.

So, I introduce for your approval, "The EMB Eagles Blog 2020 Covid-19 Pandemic Patience Act"

We the below signed Blog members do solemnly swear, that on this date, June 15th, 2020, that they will reserve judgement on the incoming class of draftees until at least week 10 of the regular season, and not use the terms "Bust", "Reach",  or "Wasted Pick" until at least more than 50% of the regular season of games has been played out.  Terms like "disappointing", "underachieving" and "underwhelming" are permitted, but only with the caveat that "it's still early and there's time for him to turn it around" be implied, if not actually stated.

I swear.

(Anyone want to join me?)

Addendum proposal:

The aforementioned does not apply to any player cut before the start of the regular season and not a member of the Eagles practice squad.

Call it the Thorson amendment

Zangaro gave some decent options if they go free agent route with peters, warford and Kyle long and Ron Leary. Not great but they have some options.

Eww he had the balls to say Warmack. If they go FA it will probably be Ronald Leary

Bring back the smoothies!

I have no doubt that Brooks will be back strong for 2021. Given his cap numbers he'll be back that year, but unless he goes back to his normal self, he may only have 1 more year (2021) for us.

Yep. He'll come cheap too. He isn't Brooks, but he's viable.

just wanna say its totally possible for a december return and certainly for playoffs in january. im not sure season ending is accurate. may be just speculation.

A 6 months return is extremely aggressive.

It would take the Eagles being in playoff contention, Brooks having a perfect recovery and possibly a delay to the season (Covid-19).

If 2/3 of the Blog approves, it will pass.

I approve.

Brooks tore Achilles working out at Novacare today.

Out for the season.

Per Derrick Gunn

🤬

That SUCKS!    Was it the same Achilles as the end of 2018 post-season?   Or was it the 'good' one?

That was pretty much the time-frame it took Brooks to recover from his last one. I believe he was participating in the camps/drills in July last year.

FFS.

He tore the other one, not the one he just rehabbed last year. Don't know if thats good or bad.

Thank you.   I believe that's exactly what happened with Demeco Ryans and then later with Jordan Hicks.   I think that makes it almost a foregone conclusion that Sidney Jones is bound to blow out his other Achilles at some point.

Wasn't Driscoll drafted to play Guard?

I believe he was drafted to be a Center, honestly.

Yup i thought that too especially when he basically unprovoked said something about learning to play center when he was drafted
