I really hope Alshon comes back and is able to contribute...

1. he makes this offense better

2. I can throw it in everyone’s face for hating on him

Hmm.  Feels like we've finally cut the cord.  Floating out in the ether. Anger at the faceless dismissal and marginalization of it's own fans by PE.com. But extreme gratitude for guys l

I mentioned this previously on this board, and in the past years ago on the other board.   I'm not sure Howie has ever come out and said it this plainly, but Howie is telling the truth here.

Just to keep him off the Cowboys is good enough for me.

Agree with this 100% but I also see it as the most likely outcome.  I wonder if MIchael Gallup and a 2nd gets it done for them.  The Jets really need weapons for Darnold and Dallas has lots of talent at WR.  Gallup is going to want to get paid pretty soon too.

Howie, want an A for this off season, get this done.  Want an A+, trade Alshon in the deal.

There's an out in Brooks' contract after 2021. I don't think a restructure would be complicated if Brooks is a drastically different player after this. The problem is that we just lost possibly the best RG. Cap will be okay.

He wants more than $17M a year and the cost is at least a first-round pick. We’re over the cap next year and it seems likely that the cap will go down. I can’t see it being a prudent decision for us.

Not sure how anyone can say that with any real confidence considering the cap may actually go down over the next few years...

Imagine Dawk in that thing.

Imagine having to wear that thing in Miami in September.

Trading Alshon now while costing us $ 600,000 against this years cap takes us from 50.6 million over next  year down to 33 million over.  Adams is also signed through the end of the 2021 season, so you can lower his 2021 cap number doing his extension leading into the season.

Well, of course it's difficult to predict anything for sure with covid. That's obvious and doesn't need to be said after every comment that's made. Everyone knows it's hard to see how things will play out because of it.

Well, if the Eagles stick to only putting Reagor at Z and the slot, the decision at X would come down to Alshon vs. JJAW. I'll take Alshon at 40% over JJAW.

Lol so pretty much every great organization (minus the Patriots) and the 2 Texas teams. At least he wants to win.

Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, tells CNN’s Chief Medical Correspondent Dr. Sanjay Gupta, "Unless players are essentially in a bubble -- insulated from the community and they are tested nearly every day -- it would be very hard to see how football is able to be played this fall. If there is a second wave, which is certainly a possibility and which would be complicated by the predictable flu season, football may not happen this year.”

Send the whole league to spend the year in New Zealand.

Your comment seemed to indicate otherwise. The obvious needed to be said.

Would love to have him. Going to suck seeing him go to Dallas/Seattle.

Our starting safety's are Rodney McLeod opposite Will Parks/Jalen Mills/Rudy Ford.

I haven't seen anything about what spot they want to start K'Von Wallace at (my pref would be to have him take over McLeod's job).

Making the contracts fit would be a tough job.

And yet...

Adams makes this defense scary good, regardless of the LBers, IMO

Get Adams and sign Everson Griffen.

If only it were possible..

The Eagles (can’t remember who specifically) seemed to suggest Wallace played better closer to the LOS. I don’t think he’s a single high safety.

Jamal Adams is a malcontent.  Why pay huge money and draft picks for a guy who already on his rookie deal is creating problems?

For a guy who seems to be often praised for his leadership, he sure is whining a lot.

Because he’s the best safety in the NFL and only 24 years old? Safety money is usually reasonable in comparison to other positions.

I think it’s definitely something we should explore.

Isn't that just the playoff teams from last year?

It's common for anyone who plays for Adam Gase.
