Kist had a podcast with someone from pff that made this exact same point that moving up Massively for a non qb almost always fails you. Made the argument the player basically has to become a julio type player otherwise the loss of picks, depth/potential multiple starters From pocks and player not living up to what you thought hurt you on numerous levels

Can't say I know much about him. Proche has been my late round hands target but I haven't exactly done my homework on the later receivers.

Well, if the production's that high, then it will mostly depend on his injury status over those 2 years.  Is he in and out of the lineup?  Did he miss any playoff games?

I think the gist of your question is do we go against the grain and devote additional team resources towards a position we can continually restock.  And I would say no.

I would be very happy with Reagor, honestly even might prefer him over Jefferson and i really like JJ. Its just you can see how special he is in such a butt offense that was TCU in the past few years.

I'm very worried that teams will move up right in front of us. So many behind us are very high on Reagor and his speed.

I think Howie needs to be aggressive.

Strictly talking about them as prospects, I think Bowden was more elusive and had better straightline speed than Ward. Ward was absolutely a better QB. My initial point with Bowden was that I don't see what everyone gets excited about, so I'm not sure what we're arguing.

Either way, Ward gets the chance to win the job in the slot this season and if they draft Bowden I hope I'm wrong.

It may happen, but think with the depth in this year's class may not happen. I like the fit for Reagor here, but others may prefer some of the physical traits of a Mims or Aiyuk instead and be fine waiting.

Yep, you just have to take him.  They are in that crap position right now where they might be reaching by 3-4 spots but if they trade back they will miss out on who they want.

Not at all, but he's just repeating a report from Zierlein so it doesn't matter. 

So trading up all the way to 6 for a WR is still too rich for my blood. I can’t imagine it won’t cost next year’s 1st + at least two day 2 picks between this year and next. 

 

Im gonna be honest, I hope we trade back and pick up mims/reaogor while also acquiring more draft capital
