And then the customer freaks out ans starts yelling about his "rights", guess how businesses make their money? Selling stuff, not enforcing government rules. Totally unfair to expect businesses to enforce this

Customers seem to be ok with wearing shoes, which isn’t even a federal law. And I’m sure grocery stores are fine with enforcing that rule. What’s the difference?

I mentioned this previously on this board, and in the past years ago on the other board.   I'm not sure Howie has ever come out and said it this plainly, but Howie is telling the truth here.

Businesses need to realize they are still losing money on the decision to let that unmasked person in.  Those people who yell about their rights are the vocal minority.

There are many people who get disgusted seeing a business allowing unmasked people in who will decide to stop shopping or eating there because the business chooses to allow an unsafe environment for its customers.

Is it unfair for bars to enforce laws regarding underage drinking?

While you can make fun of religion that teaches about the future and the "mark of the beast " and those that believe in it as being "stupid " I fully believe in it. That said the same Bible that teaches that also pretty much teaches that no one will be " fooled into getting the mark" and by that time people will know exactly what they are doing.

If anything the last several years and the choices that Americans have had for politicians has done nothing but strengthen my faith and helped me realize just how easy the antichrist can come into power.

I'd appreciate it if you would stop acting like people who believe and have faith are stupid.

Thanks

I don't think people who believe and have faith are stupid at all.  I am Catholic.  My kids were raised Catholic. My son goes to Catholic school.  My wife teaches Sunday school.   I don't know many people of faith who look at medical test with suspicion.  To me, this kind of belief is radical and not connected with any religious teaching.  I do think there are sects of Christianity where they view much of what they consider the mainstream world with suspicion.  I believe these types of belief systems are fostered in the US.  They are also protected under the 1st Amendment.  Certainly communities like the Quakers, Amish and Mennonites came to the US to escape religious persecution.  My point was only that blaming a lack of education has nothing to do with the issue.

I don’t think they’ve adequately replaced some of those guys they’ve lost, they spent most of their cap money bringing back underperforming guys, Dak played at his peak last season and will be demotivated unless he gets a huge deal, and while I think Mike McCarthy is a good coach he won’t function well as Jones’ yes man.

They need LVE to remain healthy and they need huge bounce-back from Lawrence, Jaylon Smith, and Zeke — three guys who got paid fat contracts and played like they got fat.  That’s a big culture problem.

You tell me. When was the last time you saw someone even trying to go into a grocery store w/o shoes? Now think about how many arse clowns are going in w/o masks.

No they really aren't especially when the business relies on repeat business from the same customers.

Fair enough

I'm sure some do. It's beside the point.

Yes, but there’s absolutely no dangerous or cautionary tales out there on the left wing, right?

Especially if you include the famine inducing policies of the Soviet Union, China and North Korea.  Even if you don't include them, I think the numbers are pretty even with fascists.  The only difference is that usually Communists are not usually committing ethnocentric genocide whereas that tends to be the sole focus of fascist states.

Yeah I don't see how you can look at their FA acquisitions vs losses and consider them a better team than they were last year.  Their hopes of being a better team are predicated on 1) a new coach with a history of uninventive mediocrity and very limited offseason to get to know his team and implement his plan, and 2) a very good draft on paper again with a very limited off season. Kempski's point about them being very lucky from injury POV is a good one as well.  8-8 with the 4th best injury history in the league isn't a good look.

I would not be surprise me if they ended up being a better team than last year.  Assuming its a given or even likely seems a bit naive though IMO.

I wont be losing any sleep over it.  Then again I'm not really a history person and dont care about things that happened in the 1700 and 1800's.

Teddy Roosevelt was President from 1901 to 1909.

Yeah, it was terrible.  The guy took a running start and caught completely unaware.

No it really isn't. It is the point. The crazies in this country have made the mask thing into a political "rights thing" on a ridiculously huge scale.

What happens if Dallas gets Jamal Adams?  Losing Randall Cobb vs gaining CeeDee Lamb.  That's a win.  Losing Frederick hurts but they drafted a really solid center with the pick they got from the Eagles.  I hate to admit but I think they did a good job at drafting players to replace FA that they lost.  LVE is their biggest question.  Not bringing back Garrett could do wonders for them too.  McCarthy isn't a savior but he should wake that offense up.

Sidenote. I really wish Jimmy would just leave politics out of his writing.  He seems to always find a way now to get some sort of opinion in and the guy loves to think he is always right.

Can't argue that at all. Never have I seen such a small molehill made into such a huge mountain. Everybody can just stay the hell home and we'll shut down the country again, cops can arrest them if the are out wondering around. Personally I have no desire for myself or my employees to go through the abuse that these arseholes put us through.

Obviously I think Lamb is a better asset to have than Cobb long term, but expecting ANY rookie WR to beat Cobb's 55/828 last year is optimistic. Let alone with a shortened off season.

I expect him the be better long term but year 1 we gotta be realistic.

I think Lamb helps make Cooper better because he can play more in the slot too.
