This seems a little worse than the others.

This one would match the 100 years ago Spanish Flu.   Hopefully this one is much less fatal.

I mentioned this previously on this board, and in the past years ago on the other board.   I'm not sure Howie has ever come out and said it this plainly, but Howie is telling the truth here.

Is there any info out there about Jalen Hurts working with Wentz/WRs after the draft?

Woke Dad Wentz is this year's "greatest shape of my life." I genuinely hope this works out.

Was listening to the ITB podcast while mowing and Caplan said he spoke to a team source involved with acquiring Slay. He said the expectation was that Slay would shadow WR1s based on matchup but wasn’t sure if that was still the case with the strange offseason. He mentioned something I talked about before with Avonte Maddox, noting how he’s swapped sides as a nickel defender. I think that will come in handy if we do shadow.

He also said Schwartz didn’t shadow before because our personnel wasn’t good enough. It makes sense to me since Darby and Mills weren’t all that good at their base spot. Why move them around and be even worse?

One of the biggest disappointments for me last season was seeing Darby and Maddox be even worse than Mills in his CB spot the first half of last season.  I’d have hardly believed it was possible.

2020 NFL Draft: Day 3 picks who landed in favorable situations - PFF
Pick 127: Philadelphia Eagles — S K’Von Wallace. Wallace’s main competition to take over the role left vacant by Malcolm Jenkinsis much-maligned former cornerback Jalen Mills. Mills has earned coverage grades of 49.8 and 55.8 the past two seasons, and in his last season at safety back at LSU in 2014, he earned only a 70.6 coverage grade. Wallace, on the other hand, has earned coverage grades higher than that in every single year he was a starter at Clemson. This past season, he earned an 89.7 coverage grade. He has also been one of the best tacklers in the country, missing just 13 times on 159 attempts over the past three seasons

I never see any ads, unless we are referring to most content in the blog recently, I don't know what people are referring to.

As part of my efforts to keep the board funded into the future, we have a Google Adsense account which means that ads can be placed on the site. Part of the board's software though, allows me to determine who sees or doesn't see ads. I have it set so that 'guests' will see them but logged in members won't. So if you never log out, or if you have an ad blocker, you wouldn't see them.

Of course, at this time of year (especially in a Presidential Election year), political ads flood the internet (and TV/Radio). That can be a good or a bad thing, depending on one's point of view. On one hand, the board will make money on the backs of the campaigns. On the other hand, people are subjected to political ads... from both sides of the aisle.

I would hope that any members who may see those ads (while they're not logged in), would just ignore them and understand that they're actually helping to keep the board going into the future, and not take 'offense' to them, thinking that the board is 'endorsing' anyone/anything. The ads are generated (supposedly), at random. In a few days (July 1), I believe that I'll be able to block certain types of ads. So maybe it won't be an issue, soon.

It's a bad one for sure right now i'd say it's between the Spanish flu and the Hong Kong flu of 68/69

Yes, absolutely. All of the thousands and thousands across the country are ALL wearing masks. They also follow strict protocol at all times and follow it up with hand sanitizer with anything they touch or throw at police, and ALL of those masks are N95 or better. Dude, spin the wheel again.

Yes, wear a mask in public, but saying the protestors aren't spreading it is some major bull.

Sounds like you have an agenda and have already made your mind up.

Ill trust what the CDC says over fox news or whatever media outlet is giving you your angry views.

I think k von wallace can end up one of the steals of the draft. I was surprised he dropped as far as he did.

Saw some people mention Mike Person as a possible FA RG. He announced today he’s retiring.

I’m now convinced that Pryor is the guy for 2020. With the future cap number in question, I think we’ll try to go cheap to save whatever we can.

Yup, I think it’s his job to lose. But I think they do need a vet backup somewhere. The line is dangerously thin and they are relying on a lot of unproven guys.

The added advantage is that Pryor doesn't need to learn the system, he knows it.  So, while he may not be a better player than some of the other names being thrown around, he's cheaper and he's likely a better fit.

I can see that.  Wallace may well be the starter.

The opportunity is there, but Driscoll might be a better fit. Pryor's lack of athleticism really sticks out on this OL. Think the lack of OTAs will likely hold Driscoll back, however.

Is it ownership not signing draft choices or agents. Seems odd with TC a month away that so few players are signed.

I’d guess ownership. I can’t see any real reason agents wouldn’t want them signed immediately with the way things are right now. Read somewhere that only 3 vets got an extension since April too.
