They have smart coaches. He won’t be running the Tom Brady offense. 

Probably an upgrade to Stidham but still pretty meh imo

Cam is damaged goods, i dont think mcdaniel and co will have any problems designing an offense around newtons skill set i just dont think that skill set is that good anymore.

He was dangerous when he could run and run dudes over now that hes Italian i dont think he has much left to offer.

We don’t really have a single high safety behind McLeod. Maybe because of depth at SS they’ll try Wallace at FS, but that’s not where he’s at his best.

It’s supposedly a league minimum deal (or close to it) with unlikely to be achieved incentives.

Exactly.  His shoulder is shot, and he's taken more blows to the head than any QB I've ever seen.  Even if his shoulder has healed a little bit over the past year, his mechanics and his anticipation are horrendous.  His athleticism made him a special player at one point, but I think those days are behind him.  

**Cue him having an MVP season this year and Carolina fans cheering for New England because Cam.
