Heavy and cheap interior would be my complaints.

I have no problem with electrical cars as a concept, but for all of the 0-60 numbers Tesla puts up, I just don’t have as much fun as I do in other cars at comparable prices.

I haven’t been able to drive the Taycan yet, but I think for someone who is a driving enthusiast, it would be a better choice than the Tesla. Higher quality interior plus Porsche knows how to build a car that is a joy to drive.

Got mine delivered in April. Haven’t really had many opportunities to go anywhere, but it is the most fun car I have ever driven. I have had an M5, Panamera Turbo and 911 S - the Taycan Turbo is another level. You should try and drive one. Wife had a Model S, and that’s basically a Toyota with technology - it isn’t in the same universe as the Taycan.

I mentioned this previously on this board, and in the past years ago on the other board.   I'm not sure Howie has ever come out and said it this plainly, but Howie is telling the truth here.

I’ve been meaning to get in one, but with the COVID stuff I just haven’t gotten around to it. It’s definitely on the short list for my next daily driver.

I hate to sound like a stereotype, but Porsche has definitely converted me into their cult. The GT3 is still the best car I’ve ever driven at any price point. Just a perfect automobile in every way.

I haven’t owned any other brand of car since getting my first Panamera Turbo in 2010. They really are impeccably designed and engineered cars. Any other driving experience pales in comparison. I tried to get into the R8, AMGs, etc. and they did nothing for me, and I don’t want to be a cliche and go for a Ferrari or another super expensive model.

I used to collect Hot Wheels as a kid.

I’ve driven most of the non-super car Ferrari’s from the 2000’s until now. Even putting aside price, maintenance costs and reliability, I would honest to god take the GT3 over them. The first 3 gears are the most fun I’ve ever had in any car, ever. And I don’t even mind the exotic sports car cliche or looking out of place in a 25 year old BMW. If I like it I’ll drive it.

Except Lamborghini. There is something utterly classless about Lambos no matter how well they drive.

There's safety and then there's being ridiculous.

Of course.   You should have been wearing SCUBA gear, that way you didn't have to worry about a bridge collapsing and drowning.

I love my S no matter what the enthusiasts say.

The car drives itself, has great acceleration...sure, the interior is different from a BMW or Benz, but I love the clean lines, stark white seats, and big screen.

Im sure the Taycan is a great car, but fully loaded it’s also a ton more expensive.

I fully acknowledge that Tesla may end up being the Bose of automobiles, but I still love them.  I’m just not as much of a car guy.

Bose was the first to make small speakers sound good.  Likewise, Tesla was the first to make electrics fun.

Nowadays, the audiophiles know that Bose speakers are hot garbage.  I still think Tesla is too innovative for that as a real comparison though.

man shes a beauty! I didnt notice the pic in the post before maybe it was slow to load.

I love it anything but black so it doesnt hide the dark chrome trim and mirrors. Love that contrast on the white and the way those red brembos pop.

I also LOVE those rims. Anyone that buys aftermarket rims for that car is a stupid. You dont get better than those stock wheels.

1 of 6 of my cars, 4 of 6 are 2 doors.

2 arent VW jetta and a H2

Not a fan of electric cars, but I would strongly consider the new electric hummer , thousand HP, 0 to 60 in 3 seconds,  insane. a good looking vehicle too.

How far do the electric cars go on a charge these days?

If you ever get bored....there are a couple of YouTube guys who restore old matchbox cars.  Matchbox Garage and Danny's Diecast Disasters are really great.  They there are some Asian guys who go next level and make custom drift cars and stuff.  It's crazy.  Is it OK to call people their nationality?

I’m not a car guy at all. I drive Hyundai Sonata hybrid that tops out at 40 mpg. I care about gas mileage and dependability. As long as I fit well in the car (I’m 6-3) and there are a few perks with the electrical (blue tooth and a touch screen) I’m good.

With how much I drive, I’m pretty much going to put 200,000 miles on my car in about 6 years. They’re disposable to me. Beat the hell out of them and move on.

Sure.  Baseball games now cost a family of 4 about $200 when you add tickets, parking, food... it's ridiculous.  So, yeah, owners are making too much money too.

I haven't been to a MLB game in probably 15 years.  Minor League Baseball is a lot cheaper and really the skill isn't a lot different. I will miss not going to Minor League games this season.

My family are car people, my brother is a mechanic has a 67 mustang that he values more than his kids, not kidding😒

I look at cars as a means of getting me from point A to point B.

When i lived in SF having a well maintained road bicycle was more useful to me than a car.

I like ferraris never been in one, unless need for speed II counts😊

I like the look of dodge challengers, my bro says hell cats are cool, i guess😎

I have a friend that has a tesla, i have no idea what kind, its black😕 real smooth ride. Best thing is no mechanics, oil changes stuff like that, just tire and battery changes and thats it,  no more dealing with that pesky 710 cap😉

Id say it beats talking politics but i like politics though its better than talking baseball😴

They just scream "LOOK AT ME” too much for my tastes. Porsche has their signature look, and I think Ferrari generally does a good job of creating aggressive yet elegant styling, while Lamborghini goes completely over the top with enormous wings and air scoops. Lamborghini will definitely get the most people gawking at you. To use an analogy, Ferrari is wife material you take home to the parents and can introduce to your boss while Lambos are the slutty mistress who shows too much skin when you go out to dinner. To give an example, these are the entry level models (starting around $200, more like $250 with options) for Lambo and Ferrari:
