Having a black anthem is going to just keep racism alive

And by the way my stepson is black

Shows how much u know

Judging people u don't even know

I believe when we stop calling people by color and talk to each other as people racism can start to dissappear

You should start by not calling your step son black😒

Hmm.  Feels like we've finally cut the cord.  Floating out in the ether. Anger at the faceless dismissal and marginalization of it's own fans by PE.com. But extreme gratitude for guys l

I mentioned this previously on this board, and in the past years ago on the other board.   I'm not sure Howie has ever come out and said it this plainly, but Howie is telling the truth here.

I think that's between him and his step son.

What does it hurt?

Full disclosure — I’m not American, but it sure seems like if there are activities surrounding the national anthem that folks find offensive, it might be a great idea to go to the fridge and fix some snacks and return for the kickoff rather than get worked up about it.

At the risk of blowing this thread up into another political debate , I’ll say this...

If we want to be an actual union, an actual country, an actual nation, with a multitude of ethnicities and religions, then we cannot have literal national anthems for different racial/ethnic/religious/etc groups. That’s not a nation. That ends in Balkanization by diaspora.

Whatever one may think about the current state of political and social affairs, if there is to be any chance of a way forward in a multi-cultural and ethnically diverse way, rather than an identitarian way, then this sort of stuff cannot be allowed to gain momentum.

Thanks.  My wife always tells me how cute I am, too.

I know that there are BBQ snobs who are stick burner or bust, others swear by only charcoal.   Never really met any that are super Propane evangelists, but I'm sure they are out there.   I got the pellet grill so that I can cook outside, without having to baby sit it in the heat.   I'll be able to cook ribs, with limited interaction with the heat... briskets... turkey legs, etc.   I don't have to babysit a fire.  Sounds like a good thing to me.  I'm not looking to impress anyone.  I am looking to make delicious food and not spend a huge amount of time outside in the heat, and not have to heat up my kitchen either.

Yep.  My deck gets a buttload if sun during the day.  And it is baking on there about 5 pm when I start to burn.  There’s been times I get home from golf, go shower, bbq and have to shower again because of the heat.  And the pool temp is now 90, so that won’t help much.

I’ll be doing wings tomorrow and cracking beers.

Just chatted with my wife about that.   We are moving dinner back to about 7 or 8 pm.  🤣     Just too hot there at 4-5 PM.   I can start things earlier, go inside, then come out and spritz as needed for a quick minute or two.

Nah, the brand is worth more. Same reason Yale won’t change its name, New York [anything] wont change its name, etc.

Just a pure money move.

I’m not a car guy at all. I drive Hyundai Sonata hybrid that tops out at 40 mpg. I care about gas mileage and dependability. As long as I fit well in the car (I’m 6-3) and there are a few perks with the electrical (blue tooth and a touch screen) I’m good.

With how much I drive, I’m pretty much going to put 200,000 miles on my car in about 6 years. They’re disposable to me. Beat the hell out of them and move on.

Went to pick out a car with someone who is 6'4 and maybe 250(no idea). He's a big guy. He wanted a sports car but couldn't fit into a bunch of them anymore. Tried out a few brands and either couldn't get inside or the seats were uncomfortable(those racer seats). He ended up getting a base Mustang that had a normal seat and just upgraded it all the way.

It was kind of funny when car salesmen asked what his requirements were and he said he had to fit in it lol

Jimmy Kempski’s mimosa replacement, champagne and a cherry I need to find a new cliche slammer. Oh the headache of mixing that much sugar with champagne.

Literal kool ade ?

I’m not a big mimosa guy, but I do like grapefruit. Chilled on a summer morning, ice cold, it’s pretty refreshing without being sweet.

lol   Thanks.   I'll be with the in-laws in DE (assuming I can still cross the border on Sat), enjoying their in-ground pool and whatever the S-I-L throws on the propane grill.  ;)

This comes with a 5 year limited warranty.   We'll see how long it lasts.

What about the Canadien bloggers?

Speaking of cars.  I know all you small peen guys were in here talking about the sports cars that you don’t have.

But my Nissan Murano is easily the most comfortable car I’ve ever owned.  Good on gas.  Zero gravity seats.  Sure it’s a wagon/suv.   And I need space for my job.  But I love that car.  I’ve had it for 3-4 years and I’ve put at least 100,000 on it.  But man it’s the bees knees.

What about the Sport cars we do have?  I have two fun toys in a 06 SRT8 Jeep and my father's 65 Corvette Stingray. Fun to drive, and horrible gas mileage, lol. Highly recommend getting some fun driving toys. Very fun, esp the Jeep that not many know is a racing truck.

Sitting on the back deck overlooking my 3.5 wooded acres with a nice Cohiba and an ice cold yuengling, accompanied by my beautiful wife.  Life doesn't get any better than this.
