Hmm.  Feels like we've finally cut the cord.  Floating out in the ether. Anger at the faceless dismissal and marginalization of it's own fans by PE.com. But extreme gratitude for guys l

I mentioned this previously on this board, and in the past years ago on the other board.   I'm not sure Howie has ever come out and said it this plainly, but Howie is telling the truth here.

It’s somewhat new. The first time he said the city was scary, but just recently doubled down on it

Really bad. Green was fast as greased lightning, undersized but fearless with the hips of an elite CB.

Asante was a great ballhawk in a cover 2 type scheme where he could jump routes, but mediocre in man to man coverage. And was somewhat allergic to tackling.

Asante didnt play much cover 2, he played off and had great closing soeed and route anticipation. Smart player. I dont think he was allergic to tackling he was willing just lacked the size and ability to be effective as a tackler but he would stick his nose in there.

Want to see a guy thats allergic to tackling wait til you see Darius slay, guy shows zero effort or want to as a tackler.

Darrell green meanwhile that guy had a ton of want to no matter what he was doing, super fast with a non stop motor made him great.

For any interested... I made the pizza on the pizza stone on the pellet smoker tonight.   My wife had a little trouble with the dough... but with some corn meal on the peel and then transferred to the stone, it worked out well.   I started with the 475 setting, and the bottom actually burned in about 7 minutes or so... well, burned is a bit strong... it was just extra crispy.  The second one, I put the temp down to about 400... and let the stone cool a little.  My wife liked that one better.  The final pizzas (two) were put back to 450, and I think that worked the best.  The temp reading on the lid said about 525-550 on the 475 setting.  At 450, the temp was settling in around 500 to just a shade over.

Thanks for the update  I am torn between a stone, steel and a portable wood over for the fire pit. I am not a huge fan of mowing, so I have been talking with the wife about expanding my garden and also putting in a permanent fire pit/ wood fire stove. But in the interim a stone sounds good.  What was the dough issue?

Not sure exactly, I leave that up to my wife.  She seemed to think that the bread machine didn't knead the dough enough.  Or that it was too wet, or too dry, or too... I don't know.  But, she got it squared away and made some nice pies.  We ended up with 4 12-15 inch pies... (thin crust) and we are left with about 1/2 a pie as leftovers.

I hate my grass as well... and if it were completely up to me, I'd have nothing but a garden, patio and fire pit.  But, since we have a big dog, having a bit of yard that she can patrol and run around in is nice too... for her (since she doesn't have to do the mowing!).

Most likely to flop candidate.

I loved him as a 5th round prospect.. but as the hype grew and he moved up and up and up... I just lost all interest in him.

Off topic but if anyone is looking for a new show to watch, Perry Mason on HBO is pretty good. I’m sure there are some old heads in here that watched the original.

Gotta love someone who has spent their entire life in central Texas calling out anyone for where they live. Have fun rotting away in northern jersey. Much "cleaner" up there.  🤷‍♂️

Probably grew up a Cowboys fan.

Being marooned with the Jets, one of the least relevant franchises in the NFL over the last 50 years, is the perfect punishment for him.

Yup i was ok with him in the 3rd or 4th round. Second round i was way nervous about taking him. However people moved him all the way up to like a late first and early second. Didn’t not want him at 21. Even 53 i wouldn’t have been thrilled. He seems like the guy who has a great pre-draft but then gets to the league and never lives up to those numbers.

i actually liked reagor better for the eagles. I think obviously people got scared due to his 40 not being in the 4.3s like people thought but tcu’s ineptitude on offense at QB hurt him more than anything. If he played with just an average QB, he would’ve looked better then i think less people are questioning the pick.

Sounds like you have a saint of a wife, like me, (they are always better than us).

Several people on here liked him even earlier than 2nd round.  Watching highlights of him I noticed he pushed off his defender quite a bit.  I'm sure he can clean that up but he'll get called for it in the NFL if he dont.

Anyways....F him.

I seriously doubt he saw a ton of bad areas with the team bringing him in. What did he see the airport, NovaCare, and maybe Pat's and Geno's?

Yup.  Beautiful, kind and generous with her time to others.

Just out of curiosity how did someone who's never been to Philly become an Eagles fan?

Let us know how the pizza stone works.  I have thought of that. Need a hot fire for quick pizza.  In the meantime if anyone knows of a place with that thin Italy style pizza and low filling calzone in central and eastern PA, DE or MD, let me know.

Get an Ooni wood fired, gas or either or. Whatever you can find on Craigslist and such ... or build your own
