Funny enough....it hasn't even made it to ESPN.

They'll throw in a link in a delayed fashion, but this doesn't jive with the espn/si agenda, so they'll do their best to avoid it.

Hmm.  Feels like we've finally cut the cord.  Floating out in the ether. Anger at the faceless dismissal and marginalization of it's own fans by PE.com. But extreme gratitude for guys l

I mentioned this previously on this board, and in the past years ago on the other board.   I'm not sure Howie has ever come out and said it this plainly, but Howie is telling the truth here.

Not so much disgusting as extremely uninformed/misinformed.

He’s trying to post something pro-black rather than anti-Semitic .... but surely he must realize 1) Hitler viewed anyone non-Aryan as inherently inferior, and 2) Hitler never had any exposure or knowledge of US history or society

It's Nation of Islam propaganda.  I don't know whether it is directly from Farrakhan or just part and parcel to their teachings.  Nation of Islam is a black nationalist hate group.  I mean I don't think they have specifically carried out any terror attacks like many white nationalist groups but they're definitely extremists.

So can anyone post Lurie's response? @ManuManu

Well after 1 massively stupid PI in one full game and, more importantly, this tweet, the question as to whether or not Desean has (or ever will) mature has been answered.

It's not about maturity.  If you hold hateful beliefs about sets of people because of their race or religion, you have a moral deficiency.

Not really surprising, is it?

Not at all.

That double standard is what is wrong with this world.

Where is Malcolm Jenkins in all of this?  Is he as disappointed in Jackson, like he was Brees?

Not disagreeing there.

I haven’t seen anything from Lurie.

Double-negative in DJ's Instagram response. He's just an idiot.

Is AA "African-American" now?   I thought it was Alcoholics Anonymous.   Such strange times we live in.

I actually thought it was easiest when it just meant one of these:

Quick rant that is marginally on topic here, since this tweet's blowback hasn't played out yet...

In our modern society of anti-racism, I think people fail to realize just how racist and de-humanizing double standards are.  Part of holding all people equal is holding them equally accountable.  What are you insinuating about a group of people when you hold lower standards or overlook things based on race?

It could be both or neither

It’s blowing up on Twitter.

Same.

I misread Banner's tweet as being Lurie's this morning as I was running around, getting ready for work.  My apologies, I'll go back and edit my post.

Acronyms are the bane of my professional existence.  Everything is just a string of letters.  I'm tired of it.   I just want words.   What's wrong with words?

Good news.  I was wrong.  He didn't retire, he's just unsigned.   Apparently, he wants to keep going.  But, I think that the Colts have moved on.

Not that I follow Indy closely, but from what I saw from a distance, it sounded like his reliability was slipping. Which is understandable.

Agreed.

The more frightening part of this are the responses of some people on Twitter to the story or "literature” that basically are defending the literature saying prove it’s not wrong When referring to the antisemitic part of it.

Also as amazing are the parts of the fan base telling joe banner on Twitter well you extended Riley Cooper and were Ok about keeping Riley cooper after dropping the N word. Cooper didn’t say what he did until July 2013. meanwhile joe was in Cleveland by October 2012 so he wasn’t even here when that whole incident went down nor did he extend his contract.

Just a prediction.  DJax and his PR team will take the "its not what I meant" defense.  A whole bunch of interpreters will come out of the woodwork on his side and it will be gone.  He won't be allowed to talk, since his true colors and intelligence  will come out.  And it wil all just go away.  In regular times, it's a big deal.  Today, I doubt that anyone wants to make a stand for fear of the "racist" label.

Well, yea, that's what he attempted to go for with his follow ups, where he crossed out everything he supposedly did not mean to post.

Just a stupid decision overall.

I'm guessing he's already been on the phone talking with Lurie and/or Doug all morning.  Should hear something soon.

I always think it’s funny when people, trying to make a point, get a timeline horribly wrong. I remember years ago, someone hating on Reggie Brown, by criticizing his poor performance in Super Bowl 39.
