The more frightening part of this are the responses of some people on Twitter to the story or "literature” that basically are defending the literature saying prove it’s not wrong When referring to the antisemitic part of it.

Also as amazing are the parts of the fan base telling joe banner on Twitter well you extended Riley Cooper and were Ok about keeping Riley cooper after dropping the N word. Cooper didn’t say what he did until July 2013. meanwhile joe was in Cleveland by October 2012 so he wasn’t even here when that whole incident went down nor did he extend his contract.

I was about to post something similar.

The saddest part of some of his followers saying it’s true is that they are quoting a single verse from the book of Deuteronomy.  If they actually bothered to read the entire section; the verse they are quoting is God’s PUNISHMENT against the House of Israel, if Israel disobeys His covenant.  It essentially states that if they disobey God’s covenant, they will be sent back to Egypt, in a "worse” state than when He liberated them from Egypt.  They will not only be sent back as a "working class” but this time, no one will take them in and they will be basically homeless and starving.  Not something anyone would want.  SMH.

I mentioned this previously on this board, and in the past years ago on the other board.   I'm not sure Howie has ever come out and said it this plainly, but Howie is telling the truth here.

Facts don't matter any more, emotionalism is the order of the day.

I always think it’s funny when people, trying to make a point, get a timeline horribly wrong. I remember years ago, someone hating on Reggie Brown, by criticizing his poor performance in Super Bowl 39.

To be fair... he did have 0 receptions in that game.

Acronyms are the bane of my professional existence.  Everything is just a string of letters.  I'm tired of it.   I just want words.   What's wrong with words?

I get that and agree. Mostly these folks are looking for shortcuts so they don't have to type as much..........................the horrors. They're all just a bunch of lmfs.

DSJ was wrong.
He should apologize. He then needs a history lesson.
He can then share what he learned to help others.

He can do all this while being on the team.

What if there are multiple meanings to nearly all these acronyms?   And why is "google it" the answer when a person is supposedly, trying to communicate?   If the meaning intended by said person, requires the receiver to do further research, the sender of the message is just alienating the receiver of the message from the message and not actually conveying the thought that the sender was actually trying to send.

My favorite acronym is MILF.  There's only one meaning to that one.

I actually thought it was easiest when it just meant one of these:

I’m still shocked Cooper wasn’t cut. That video was so ugly and he was such a meh player. Kelly messed that one up badly.

If I was a NFL coach none of my players would be allowed to have social media

Know what? This may be the end of my football watching life. Honestly I watch football (the last remaining sport that I do watch) to root for my team and to enjoy life by taking my mind off of it. I have never cared in the past what color a player or coach is or even what religion or if he's gay or whatever , how many kids he's had out of wedlock, blah.blah, blah. But now I being forced everyday to see the stupid stuff that I don't want to see and listen to stupid stuff that I don't agree with and best of all now I have to choose sides. I can't just watch for entertainment now I have to decide what message I'm sending to others by my choice.

Yea, I know.  They are constantly updating Google, making results easier to organize and clarify.  I do it now without even thinking sometimes.  Not sure which browser you're using, but it's easy to just highlight and right click something, and then click Web Search, or Search Google for "...".

That’s why I don’t follow any player on social media. I really would rather not know just in case.

Not at all.

That double standard is what is wrong with this world.

Where is Malcolm Jenkins in all of this?  Is he as disappointed in Jackson, like he was Brees?

The double standard isn't the problem. The problem is the prejudice.

I think most people are like that.

I don't care enough to follow any player tbh (that's for IP < Hey!  Your name is an acronym!).  Well, maybe except Embiid.

This is why I think we're lucky this didn't happen mid season.  I'm not even that upset, really.  I know DJack is an a**.  We all knew that.  Nothing else going on now tho, so its magnified.

This makes sense to a point. But there are other things that blow onto national media that also involve making what should be entertainment into a "stance" and while on most of the issues I agree with the p.o.v. there are others that I don't. So now I have to decide if the "entertainment" portion is worth the trouble. I just want to be entertained.

Doesn’t fit his narrative? Would be shocked if Jenkins comments on any of this.

Probably depends on how close he was with DJack.

We did the big west swing some years back.  Took three weeks to do a big loop from Denver up in Wyoming and then way back down thru Utah into Arizona and then back up.  Awesome stuff there.  Wyoming was probably my favorite.  We stayed on a ranch near Ten Sleep (about an hour south) and got up into Yellowstone and generally hiked, fished, etc.  Way awesome.

I have good friends (crunchy type) who live near Boulder and do a ton of stuff up in that area of the world.  Their fav place to visit is Glacier Park.  We never got up there but it seems great.

If you get to Glacier and all should before the glaciers disappear, take you passport and see the park on both sides of the border.

I don't know if Kelly did mess it up.  He left it up to the players and it was really Mike Vick who led the decision to keep Cooper on the team.  I do think he's going to have to reach out to Lurie.  I don't think Lurie is going to give him a pass or make a knee jerk decision to keep him.  Lurie is Jewish.

Pick 1 TE to play 99% of the snaps

pick 1 of the now remaining 3 TEs to backup and run 2 TE sets

pick 1 of the now remaining 2 TEs only see the field on special teams as the holder and in jumbo packages

trade the last TE for a 6th rd draft pick.
