Straight from and, is are two different things no?

Be careful though or you might be asked to go to CVON for talking politics😒

Not in this case and here's why.  First, it purports to be a quote from Hitler and while even though it is not one, there's one thing everyone knows about Hitler and that is he was not a fan of the Jewish people.  So while you may say that doesn't matter.  I think it very much does if I want to catch the attention of others who thought poorly of Jewish people, I might use a purported quote from probably the most famous anti-semite.  It's like when someone uses a quote purported to be from Abe Lincoln or Ben Franklin when they want to sound smart.  When you want to sound antisemitic cite Hitler as your source.  Moreover, read the f'ng quote.  Who are the "white jews" Well according to the quote "they" are the ones extorting American and planning world domination.  Finally, you have to look at the real source of the quote.  The source is Louis Farrakhan.  He very much pushes an anti-semitic ideology that holds the Jewish people are the real evil in the world.  So, there's no real 2 ways about this quote.  You either can read and acknowledge that it is antisemitic or you are willfully ignorant.

I mentioned this previously on this board, and in the past years ago on the other board.   I'm not sure Howie has ever come out and said it this plainly, but Howie is telling the truth here.

That makes sense. I'm sure Desean has a nice set up but man that seems like a awful place to train in July between the heat humidity and storms.

Can confirm. It's been brutal.

Look, it’s no shot at you. If you’re paying attention to our president and his speeches, then you’re paying some form of attention to his senior advisors and speech writers. There is no way around it.

Just hoping that tired as crap doesn't mean anything more ominous than just working out too hard

Dude I'm joking with you. I knew what you meant. Anymore though I pay very little attention to any politics on any side by anybody. I hate them all.

The tweets following this go into the history behind the quotes and everything that goes with it. I highly suggest Everyone either reading the article or the stream of tweets where he goes into detail about everything desean posted. It’s actually pretty good review of all of it.

I agree not a good idea to quote an anti semite like hitler and not expect to get hammered for being an anti semite.

As for the originator of the quote, i know zero about him and am not really interested in reading his book there are other more reliable sources on the matter, but does he push an anti semitic ideology or does he push an ideology that is against the actions of jews that he finds evil.

Actions and race or people are two separate things.

Which is my original point in that I doubt lurie or the nfl or the media know the full context of the quote yet the automatic reaction is to claim anti semitic rhetoric😕

People see what they want and are told, i read the quote and saw it different than most because most arent aware of the current atrocities by Israel(jews) against palestine funded by the US.

This quote by this guy speaks directly to that current situation, whether or not it has anything to do with blacks js questionable but interesting considering todays current climate, whether Desean meant to portray any of that in his message is doubtful but one thing is for sure is that the Anti Semite rhetoric was widespread and swift before any one actually had a chance to think about what was said nd reacted to how on its face made them feel.

Either way not a good choice by desean.

Also want to mention this is in response to somebody elses response to me about a post of political nature that i didnt start. If anyone is offended by this post and believes it should be in CVON i totally understand.

If there is much you disagree with, one can infer that there is some with which you agree. Which parts of Chomsky do you agree with, and which parts do you disagree with?

It's been some years since I read a lot of his stuff but his ability to distinguish antisemitism from antizionism is a major position for me. He also took the position that the anti-Arab racism has replaced antisemitism as racism in its most virulent form.  His criticism of Libertarianism, at least in its American form is, to me, spot on. I'm putting this stuff badly but it's worth reading up on.

I'm just cherry-picking here because, as I said, it's been a while.  As someone who recommended the terrific The Coddling of the American Mind, I would expect you to have some tolerance for his thought, and perhaps you do. Your posts have unusual amounts of heft, for lack of a better teem.

Yup i commented what i thought of deseans comments as well.

If i had called them racist would you have asked me to go to CVON

Seems that CVON would be jyst as appropriate for those comments no?

Sure.   You took it to a whole new level though focusing on Palestine, etc.    So... maybe find a place that wants to get into all of that.   Go for it.  Go to CVON and dig in.

So what would you suggest rather than 3 hours of smoke?.

What if i slow cook em for 3 hours no smoke then wrap them for the 2 hours then the last hour smoke them?

Im not picking a fight, i voiced my opinion, that people disagree with me is normal discourse. I believe in my views

Where as 4for4 specifically asked for a fight😄

Im Christian i was taught my whole life that as such im a child of Israel, i was also taught that the israelites or jews were gods chosen people and christ was also a jew.

The quote in question isnt referencing all christians or children if god it specifically mentions " white jews" which isnt a reference about skin color but more region or even purpose. In this case the author is meaning American or western world jews as " white jews"

How is the thought that blacks are the true children of israel any different than white people or jews claiming to be the true children of israel?

If jews believed all children are gods why are they killing palestinians. Jf white christians believe all children are gods why are we killing muslims and blacks and compliant in the genocide of palestinians?

Is the whole comment a little off kilter?

Yup but whats not off kilter is that it speaks to current Zionism and the US current relationship with Israel in attaining a Zion state.

When the entire quote states that Jewish people are blackmailing the Illuminati and the American elite, to hide the fact that African Americans are the "true" children of Israel, that would infer that neither Jews nor Americans are "children of Israel" because if they were, there would be no reason for anyone to "blackmail" anyone.

What makes it discriminatory is the word "true" or "real" before stating "children of Israel" and the fact that people are being "blackmailed" to hide the truth.  The entire quote is beyond comprehension and devoid of rational thought.

As far as the rest of your thoughts on Palestine and Israel, I'm not going to get into that here....maybe you should start a thread in CVON and go from there with all of that.

Honestly, if I had to describe the moment I was most overcome with excitement, the play would be described as: Man gets up from ground and picks up bouncing ball.
