I'm guessing? Just saying if they do trade the kid I could see them going with Peters and Mailata as the swing/backup and another developmental guy. I don't get what he did that they would be so down on him after one year. If something stuck out in his psyche that much it should have been caught before the draft unless they were using the same people that screened Fultz. I'd only do it for 11 straight up.

Let me make this straight. I liked the dillard pick. I think he can be a good LT in this league. i also don’t think they wind up trading  

however i don’t think it’s out of the realm of possibility the eagles have soured on dillard, don’t trust him at LT, feel they can sign peters for a year and draft a developmental option and trying to hoodwink joe douglas as they know he still loves him. 

again i think it is smokescreen however I’m not ruling out The possibility. I don’t think he’s untouchable if they feel differently today then 365 days ago.

Yeah but I’m not trusting a guy who’s never played in 2 years and just started learning the game in 2018. I think that’s way too much faith if dillard or lane gets hurt. 

I feel like our media just makes stuff all the time. When was the last time they were right about something?

i think you never really know a kid until you see him everyday. I don’t think the solution is eliminating a conference. They did draft ertz, desean, foles, Kendricks, seumalo, Eric Allen, bryon Evans and i can go on. They have had busts for sure. But it’s more better scouting of those players or better west coast scouts.

Desean they got. Surprisingly it was esp actually got that. And then they said chip didn’t like Mccoy and he was gone a couple weeks later. Michael Bennett they also had smoke saying he wouldn’t be back after 2018 and then they dealt him.

I was partially joking, but let's stick to the last few drafts. Yes, they got Ertz and Seumalo, but also Jones, JJ Whiteside, Huff....and Dillard if they have to move on is a huge mistake.

I want them sticking to SEC (Vanderbilt isn't who I mean) or Clemson when they have a choice between a few players on the board.

 

I actually think Mailata is going to be a big part of the OL this year.  If he was injured to the point he couldn't play, he'd have been released.  I think they are going to use him alot and expect him to be ready to start in case of injury.

Maybe I'm alone on this.

Yup

I support the Lt. Governor on legalizing pot in PA but from some of the stuff posted by the beat writers in the last couple months, I would think it must already be legal.  Some of the speculation they have come up with reminds me of some of the nonsense stuff discussed when I was in high school and we were passing a joint around.

I’m certain he has an Eagles source who is down on Dillard, but the more important thing is if the source is anyone of consequence or knows someone of consequence’s feelings.
