Also, as I asked earlier, where is the Eagles' or the League's response to Malik Jackson's praise of Farrahkan?

While I disagree mightily with some of his teachings, Farrakhan is an Imam and is it really appropriate for the Eagles or the League to comment specifically on praise towards a religious leader?

I mentioned this previously on this board, and in the past years ago on the other board.   I'm not sure Howie has ever come out and said it this plainly, but Howie is telling the truth here.

The Loser

I doubt the season even happens but if it does I won’t be watching. Sports used to be an escape from the world and it can’t even be that anymore. DeSean quoted something out of ignorance and apologized but Malik Jackson just keeps going about this one thing. And the comment where he made if he doesn’t earn more money this season his family would starve was dumb. I hope Malik is cut and I really don’t even care about DeSean. Probably won’t play this year and will be 34.

F off Malik

There’s more on his Instagram. One person said great you are going to get paid 11 million again and play 1 game in those two years. His response "🤷‍♂️😏”

Geez, he's going all out to prove that he is a giant POS.  I don't get why these guys love this self destructive behavior.

Lol he tagged the team saying they can't do anything to him. It would be amazing if he was wrong

Are you running into the same issue on records?

With certain providers it’s been harder. The big hospitals have been slower and they have always been a little slow.

If you try to convert any person of a different religion on the basis that a failure to convert damns that person, it is anti their religion.  I know you believe you are trying to help the person and you know the way to salvation.  Please understand that folks like Afan and me and possibly e-a-g-l-e-s and D7 don’t see it that way and youR position seems a hateful to us.  (My way or eternal damnation.)  I tolerate it a bit because I don’t want to offend because I don’t take my agnosticism as seriously as a devout Christian, such as yourself, takes your religion.  As I think you have gathered, Afan and I have scholastically reviewed many religions.  I would bet, having read the Bible cover to cover that I have read more of it than a lot of Christians and also have read quite a few scholars on that religion and others. (Fascinating book, The Bible as History). But, and this is key, such a statement as referenced does not respect my beliefs and thus is offensive to me. So yes, I believe, it does not respect a person that follows Judaism and as such might well be interpreted as anti-Semitic if said in the example posited.

Look, I think that everyone deserves the chance to hear and if you reject that's fine that's what adults do they make up their own mind. That said 1.) This conversation started because somehow sharing your belief in a locker room was taken as antisemitism which if you are sharing with everyone it isn't and that's my point. He didn't seek him out because he was Jewish and do it as a hate crime. 2.) You, Afan and whoever else can believe what you want I don't preach at you, I'm giving the possible point of view of the player that shared.

In fact you'll find most Christians as are taught by the Bible support Jews. So kindly stop with the trying to twist what was done into  Antisemitism it wasn't, it isn't. I'm willing to move on from this conversation.

I think what hes trying to get at is why didnt black players call him out?  Just a guess.

I guess my question would be why that matters.

If D-Jax had to apologize I think Malik is gone. I'm 100% on board with keeping D.J. at this point Malik needs to be gone. Pretty clear to me anyways that he's a hater.

He should be gone, but today's environment is teaching us that the Eagles will quickly become the "haters" in that decision.  Wrongly, I will add.

I just find it fascinating that Drew Brees’ tweet makes Malcolm Jenkins punch in the nuclear launch codes, but we hear nothing from him when the Jacksons venture down this rabbit hole....

I knew what kind of person Jenkins was before he left Philly, but hopefully everyone else can see it now.  I always said he’d be the best ballhawk in the NFL if he was as fast to the football as he is to a camera.

We'll see how this pans out with the Jacksons but at this point I'm really leaning away from NFL football this year if there is a season. There is just getting to be too much drama and I would like to avoid drama in the things I choose for entertainment.

My friend, you have not walked a mile in my moccasins or e-a-g-l-e-s or Afan’s.  We seek not to offend but rather to share how it feels from our side.   As is the wont of people like me, I won’t press this further.

I've never been able to figure out, Why the Jews?

What makes them the whipping boy for every perceived ill that anyone has suffered in the world from the time they were slaves in Egypt to present day.

Maybe one of our Jewish posters could educate me.

Malik... yikes. Tagging his own team in this petulant rant? I feel like he might be giving the team some ammunition to get some of his guaranteed money.

Last thing I'll say. I agree that it can be obnoxious, and if anyone asks me to stop I do. My oldest son has walked away from my faith, I talked to him about it and he asked me not to do it again (he's 33), so I wait until he brings it up (which he doesn't).  But I still feel that my original point stands that it is not antisemitism.

Anyhow I do appreciate your p.o.v. and as on a lot of subjects we'll agree to disagree and move on.

That’s not a bad mascot either.
