Some of you guys were going to hate Jenkins no matter what he said. 

And let's be honest, the only reason Jenkins made any statement regarding this is probably because he was getting hounded on social media. Without the public pressure, would he have said anything at all?

It's leaps and bounds better than the dorm room I spent $2000 a year to live in, with 2 other dudes.   

And its pretty much the best level of hotel room that I can afford now, as a college graduate with a bachelor's and master's degree.   I do educational workshops, and that hotel room beats the dorm rooms that I am normally put up in as well.   Occasionally, I will be given the option to stay at a hotel.  On those rare occasions, I'd love to have a hotel at that level of comfort.

No, he’s fighting for POC issues. He’s focused on his cause. It’s not his job to give a platform to every single injustice.

He can take two seconds to say that what DeSean and malik said is wrong. And he definitely shouldn't be saying "this isn't the time for that", which is basically saying "this isn't important"

No, it's not his job to give a platform to every single injustice.  But, he can condemn what Desean said and leave it at that.  He didn't have to qualify this as not the time to deal with anti-Semitism, that's going to be the push back.

Gosh....He can use his platform for what he wants. If he wants to highlight things he’s fighting for and have been personally affected by, then that’s okay. Wouldn’t you rather have someone who can relate with the issue at hand take the step and shed light on it?

It's not his platform that he talked about it's about "this moment". Had he said , he agrees what DeSean and Malik said were wrong but right now I'm fighting for my cause what you are saying would make more sense. At least to me anyways.

As I said last night, if someone is going to lecture others regarding societal issues, the most important trait that they need to display is moral consistently. Jenkins has none.

Did you watch the video? He said the comments were wrong and to allow those affected speak about their issues.
