Smith/Reagor/Fulham- should all be safe 

Watkins- think will be the sleeper on the year expecting big things from him. 
Hightower- loved his route running and ability to get open just couldn’t track a deep ball and iffy hands(if he takes huge strides in these areas could be really good) 

These 5 guys I hope make the team at WR the last spot is Wards to loss but can’t say I don’t hope JJaw finally figures it out and earns the last spot. 
 

With Ward I see a solid backup with great hands can do a lot worse JJaw though a massive disappointment to this point love his effort the play that stands out was vs the Ravens blocking down field and the awareness to pickup Sanders fumble that resulted in a score for us. 

Ward is pretty much in there. He’s known Hurts a long time. Good connection. Positive teammate.

And this would be the absolute saddest reason for a guy to make the team I want the best players not good guys…I like Ward but he is limited and think there are better guys especially for near the bottom of the roster.

It isn’t difference is you want to give him the job just because he is a good guy… I want the best players. 
 

Good chance JJaw Hightower won’t beat out Ward but to me Ward is the bar we want to top and best case outcome would be all our young guys showing they are better then him

Jalen Reagor 11 games 31 catches 396 yards oh bust….

my point being Greg Ward is a good guy but he is a limited playmaker our goal should be to get better then Greg Ward do we have the guys on roster right now ???? Most likely not but sure hope so 

And I know your going to come out and say well Ward is an UDFA and Reagor is a 1st rounder blah blah blah….

But production is production if 400 yards isn’t good enough for 1 WR shouldn’t be good enough for any WR 

My Hurts stats for me to consider him having a good season.

3500ish yards passing 25-26 tds 8-10 ints around 63%
600-700 yards rushing 4-6tds 10(or fewer fumbles total) Hurts didn’t loss many fumbles but he did put the ball on the ground way to often his rookie year was 6th in fumbles with only 324 snaps.

Around 4100-4200 total yards from Hurts with 29-32 total TDS under 15 total turnovers …

So for avg. of 241-247 total yards and 1.7-1.8 tds per game.

Think these are pretty reasonable and realistic goals for him.

Just so many factors go into an offense. I don’t believe in putting everything on the QB. If the QB drops back and is hit immediately because the Oline whiffed on a block….thats on the Oline….not the QB. Receiver drops the pass….that’s on the receiver.

You mean like Wentz was but nope he didn’t get that excuse… Or like all the balls dropped by Wentz WRs nope he didn’t get that excuse… Or his WRs not getting open nope didn’t get that excuse…

240 yards a game isn’t asking a lot from your supposed franchise QB these a pretty tame expeditions for Hurts if he can’t hit them he ain’t the guy time to move on

Wentz his rookie year with a HC that never called plays avg. 245.5 yards a game his best WR was DGB… No excuses for Hurts not to be able to hit 240 a game with a far superior roster on O then Wentz had as a rookie

 3000 yards= 176 yards per game= 2816 in 16 games 

3500 yards= 205 yards per game= 3280 in 16 games 

4000 yards= 235 yards per game= 3760 yards in 16 games

250 yards per game=4000 yard season 16 games= 4250 yards in 17 games

ESPN has our ROSTER ranked as 29th. Basically saying a QB has to be Superman to be really successful. A more reasonable expectation isn’t based on season stats. But…if this team can gel and improve. Figure some things out and establish an identity.
