Their offense should be okay. That might be good enough to win the division. But you don't want to start digging yourself into a position where you are looking up obscure stats about Fitzpatrick, Humphries, Samuel and Gibson to try and make a point that they are going to be anything other than an average offense, because that's just a waste of everyone's time.

Lmao don’t need to look up obscure stats. And excitement doesn’t mean anything I’d players don’t produce…. Fact is everyone your dissing on the Washington team has far out produced anything the Eagles have done. I’m not biased in my judgement on anything.

Fitz is a streaky QB but a streaky QB that has gotten the better of us on numerous occasions and when he is hot he is hot. Mclaurin it’s easy to say he is the best young WR in the East. Curtis Samuel that #3 in Carolina still had 857 yards tell me the last Eagle WR to beat that number???? With a rookie RB last year that was just as good as our starting RB. Logan Thomas who had one of the better seasons for a TE last year. With an OL that was ranked in the top 10 last year.

Also never stated them to be this great power house offense stated that your underestimating them by calling them a bad offense. And Avg. offense with there defense is a dangerous thing.

Do you want to talk the 11 Tds lmao where he is top 5 at RB last year the fact he had 2 less fumbles then Sanders…

.6 of a yard is what your talking about I’ll take the guy who scores and protects the rock better. Not to mention was a rookie with terrible QB play.

So if you had your choice, you would take a running back who runs for fewer yards every time he gets the ball behind a better offensive line over one who gets more yards behind a worse offensive line.

This seems like a bold strategy. But you do you.

So what was Sanders excuse as a rookie when he avg. 4.6 yards a carry behind one of the best offensive lines in football only 3 Tds… but he is made a jump after a year but nope Gibson can’t????

But yea i I’d take the guy that scores because last time I checked yards don’t win games points do 11 beat 6

But hey do you buddy lmao and I’m more then on record stating i a massive Miles Sanders fan really high on him but I can be unbiased when looking at other teams and see a talented RB that Washington has

So Gibson is automatically going to get better? That is a really dumb assumption you are making. Dalvin Cook went down in his second year. Ezekial Elliott went down. Saquon Barkley went down. Nick Chubb went down.

Miles Sanders is not the rule, he's the exception. That's why I am more excited about him than Antonio Gibson.

But take this as a learning moment.

Never stated he was going to be better that a dumb assumption by you. But stating he is only avg. is equally stupid. Fact is Gibson so far has been on par with Sanders if your excited about Sanders future then Gibson future should look bright also.

You have stopped making sense. Gibson has to have a giant leap in production, one that very few running backs achieve, to match Sanders. There's no way I can be as excited about Gibson as I am about Sanders, especially since it is way more likely he is worse this year than better.

Miles was an elite back last year. Gibson was pretty average. And there's way more scenarios where he is the same or worse this year than he has a giant leap like Sanders had.

Lmao you are making no damn sense.

Sanders an elite RB 867 yards 5.3ypc 6 Tds 197 yards receiving 4 fumbles= 1064 yards total 6 Tds

Gibson avg. 795 yards rushing 4.7 ypc 11 Tds 247 yards receiving 2 fumbles = 1042 yards total 11 Tds

Your WHOLE logic for Sanders being elite and Gibson is .6 of a yard more per carry… we not going to talk about the 5 more Tds Gibson had or the 2 less fumbles with more touches???

Makes no sense at all to call Gibson avg. and Sanders elite

Well, we will see. You have Gibson running behind Charles Leno and Sam Cosmi, and I have Sanders running behind Jordan Mailata and Lane Johnson. Personally, I like my chances. But we will see who is considered to be the better running back at the end of the year.

I'm ready to see more of Tyree Jackson.

Is DeVonta Smith on track to play by any chance?

And your putting words in my mouth not once did I state he was better then Sanders but stated to call one avg. and the other elite makes no sense…

Heck yeah! Fantastic catch!

Reagor has huge upside. That’s why we drafted him. Not because he was ultra polished already. The hopes are that Siri can get him there.

The issue with drafting Reagor at the time is we had a coach staff that couldn’t develop a WR to save there life’s lol

Siri seems to be getting the most from the young guys though but regular season will be the real test to that

WFT is close to the new name choice. I am still opting for the Washington Wuss. Fingers crossed(lol)

Washington supposedly down to 3 names seem like the odds on favorite right now is red-wolves. My guess for the other two possibilities would be to keep Football Team or Redhogs tie into some of there history with the hogs

There is a pretty wide gap between a back that averaged 4.7 yards per carry and one that averaged 5.3 yards a carry. Miles Sanders was the fifth ranked back in this category, while Gibson was T-15. And Gibson's offensive line was largely healthy. Sanders was often running behind inexperienced starters. Four of the WFT's linemen played roughly 80 percent of the snaps.

Being the 15th best running back in the league is the definition of average. And he achieved that under the best possible circumstances.

As for their receivers, Adam Humphries doesn't excite me. And certainly not as much as Quez Watkins or Jalen Reagor. Samuel was the third option at WR in Carolina last year, and half the time they took him off the field for a fullback or extra TE.

Their offense should be okay. That might be good enough to win the division. JSB, I have to side with BG on this one. I think the offenses are equal as they stand. I am sure one will do better but to guess which is pure conjecture. You state Watkins and Reagor are better than what Washington has, yet we have seen nothing of them in a game yet. How can you make that statement? Based on practice? 1 PS game? Seriously? JJAW practiced great last year but did nothing when it counted. You say WTF O-Line was better? Well turns out Malaita may be the best LT in the division right now, so running behind him may have made it easier...

Just saying WFT is better until somone proves it wrong....

Tyree Jackson has a fractured bone in his back. He won't need surgery but is expected to miss 8-10 weeks, according to Eagles. Got hurt landing hard in end zone yesterday. Tough break for the QB-turned-TE. Was having a very good camp.

that totally sucks! But on IR may work out allowing Eagles to trade ertz before the deadline...?

So you are saying we shouldn't base any opinions on practice? We should just not pay attention to anything until the games start? Then why are you posting? Just tune out the next month.

Seriously, man. You say we shouldn't pay attention to the preseason, yet here you are, participating in a discussion about the preseason.

Also, the WFT oline was better than the Eagles oline last year. that is a fact, since the oline last year featured a bunch of late round rookies and UDFAs. There's no way their line will be better than ours this year. That's the whole point I was making. We are trending up while they are not.

You can base your opinions on whatever you want. Whether or not you can use it as fact is another story. If I remember correctly Mailata was a 7th round draft pick.....

I am on this board to discuss the Eagles, my favorite team. I could care less about the PS except that the team stays healthy. It means little other than to figure out who has made a better impression to the coaches... We do not see what they do.

Not even trying state that Washington is better then us on offense just didn’t agree with the assessment that there offense is bad and not sure how anyone could looking at there roster.

They had a top 10 rated OL last year

Gibson was a rookie who played on par with our own starting RB that is elite

Mclurin and Samuel have far out produced anything our WRs have done in recent years both what 25 and under as well

Thomas was one of the better TEs last season

Fitz is far better QB then anything they had last season.

As I said from the start I don’t think they will be a great offense but I don’t believe they will be bad either. They will be somewhere in between but with there defense that could be plenty good enough.

What's your point? That Mailata is a seventh round pick and may have a lot of upside this season since he played well last year? That makes my point. Are you making my points for me as some kind of stealth jedi mind trick to get me to argue against myself?

Sorry, I misread your post. I though it said that the WFT line was made of Late round picks this year.... I am working and reading posts at the same time. Not easily done at my age...

No worries. It's not really a big deal.
