Do you think he actually makes the team better than his replacements?   If so, you pay him... me, I don't see it.  He's not a scrub, just not a game changer for me.  Good committee RB, I wouldn't pay for that.

" they need to give him the ball more"   ask the question of why they don't do that by now?    I don't think they are saving him for the 2025 season.

Good point. If that was the case why aren't we seeing Gains more? IDK that answer either

Why then do I NEVER see anyone stretching before games when I attend? I see all of these hamstring issues and wonder what they are thinking..... Am I missing something here?

I had field passes for a game before and when we went while the players were doing there warmups and stuff they were stretching etc. but outside of the fans that had the field passes the stadium was empty… Players were headed back to the locker rooms by the time fans started to pile in .

Elliott shorr Parks tweeted Mailata has a knee sprain…. Not sure it’s anything serious but has anyone heard about this???

Sounding like Mailata might not play Monday at least from early tweets… Apparently the sprain happened at Thursday’s practice.

when we were kids growing up, the Gym Teachers and coaches all made us stretch before any physical activity. They said is was the most important exercise to prevent muscle pulls.

As far as Sanders goes, ASG mentioned we have 3 RB's all with similar skill set. Why keep all 3? We need a bruiser or even a FB much more in my opinion. Also FB's command less cash.

Maybe They keep both Sanders and Gainwell while letting Scott go and drafting another Larger RB?

Sanders is a big time weapon. He can make the nice play a huge play. Don’t see the others guys bringing what he brings to the table. Gainwell I was a big fan of the pick you all know. But he brings the all around package. Good pass blocker which makes him very valuable in a backfield with Sanders.

I'm sure he would go on to become a stud elsewhere. I like Gains too, but we fail to have that basher back. Pretty telling that Gains beat Scott for the #2 spot right off the bat

He’s just a better blocker. So he can be relied on with all phases. Jumped him straight to the number two roll and two minute back. Scott was the old regimes find. Siri not utilizing him.

Stine,we still have Howard on the PS,which makes me wonder why he is not rostered and Scott on the PS. At least then you;d have a variety to work with on game day

Gainwell proving himself blocking eliminated much of the key to keeping Howard.

I actually do think they have been managing him to make it worth while to sign him to a second contract. He has very low mileage for a RB. Could argue his prime is still ahead. Rare with RBs. But he wasn’t even used much in college.

Scott is a perfect part of the committee guy to me. Sanders has some elite game breaking ability. Kind of like how some liked to dog Watkins for making an explosive play last season taking a screen to the house. Yes, the blocking was good. But those elite guys make more than a nice gain on those…they take it to the house. Love those weapons.

It's an MCL from what we've heard, but no indication of degee. Andre Dillard next up if he can't play Monday night at #Cowboys.

Jordan Mailata has a knee sprain from end of yesterday’s practice. Practiced through it but went to get it checked after. It’s still being evaluated so status uncertain.

I can see that noone is being utilized hardly in the running game

We're screwed then

SO, why do we keep RB's for 5 years, not hardly use them, so they can hit their prime somewhere else? Are we back to coddling again? USE THE GUYS YOU DRAFTED!!! It's not real hard

% chance of "taking it to the house" with 14 touches for 55 yards are????(SLIM) Sanders should be in the +20 arena. Noone going to take pressure off Hurts riding pine

Because he is a rookie, but notice when we do see him, it's been in some pretty key situations.   If Sanders was as good as some think,  he would rest at other times, and be on the field in key spots.  This is 3 years now.

This is great... will be a good point for making more money with another team.

It’s an MCL sprain for Jordan Mailata. Not considered to be a serious injury.

Welp might not be serious for Mailata but my guess is he doesn’t play Monday sooooo we get to see Dillard play.

If Dillard plays well though could up his value we won’t get nearly what some want for him but could drum up some interest in the guy for a possible trade. Either by the deadline or during the offseason

I actually approve of the plan to not overuse Sanders. I do think the plan is to resign him. He just had a bad season last year(along with the whole team). I’ve been expecting them to unleash him this year and next though.

Overuse? 14 carries is overuse? 27 might be, not 14 lol

Lmao as sad as it is with Eagles history with RBs 14 carries a night avg. puts Miles on track to shatter his most carries in a season at 224(in 16 games)… previous high was 179(as a rookie in 16 games)

😂
