I just want a start over.  Forget these free agents.  Build the team and then get a QB.   Look long term.

We did start over-after the SB. Due the FO screw ups and mismanagement,we lost a few rebuild years. Draft was ok last year, another good draft will help us alot. I would have NP making a move for a LT experienced QB to help bring this team out of the shadows. As a rookie or 2, 3rd year WR, I would fell alot more confident with Rodgers than Hurts at the helm-JMO. Rodgers is similar to Brady, they are both prefectionists so IDK if Rodgers could stand the inept FO we have. This draft is really going to tell me if we are on the ball or continue to fumble on draft day. This draft is almost a "can't miss" There is ZERO excuse for bad picks except if Howies ego gets in the way and he refuses to draft the players at the positions we need. QB aside,I do my best to take Ogbah from Miami

Really..  you think it's just your opinion that a WR would feel better having Rodgers than Hurts?

You have a top tier OL, 3 good young Weapons with Smith/Geodart/Watkins and the cap and draft capital to upgrade the team. Why wouldn’t you go after a Wilson of the opportunity arises?

2022 1st 2023 1st maybe toss in Hurts for Wilson and yes I’m using the Stafford trade as the blueprint seems like a steal to me for a Wilson and doesn’t hamper us from adding talent this year or future years.

So you have have Russell Wilson at QB

Two first rounders in 2022 and all the rest of your draft picks…

Agree... I want to do it my way this time.  No more half and half.   This season is annoying as not only did we lose out on draft position, but I absolutely believe that people don't realize how bad we are in relation to the rest of the league.  Especially with the veteran players on their way out.  It is what it is.   I think 99% of the fanbase is content to win 9 games and get their joy making fun of Dallas.

1.  I watched Wilson a good amount this year, he struggled.  Wasn't all the OL either.   2. I would take his weapons over ours at WR all day long.  3.  Idk if OL is top tier. Because idk how long the two staples of the last decade will keep playing.   4. I don't want to pay him and have that take up the cap space.   5.  The picks I want to use , being we need pretty much everything on defense.

You gotta build the team using draft picks and cap space.   If Wilson, who I don't trust long term...not for age,but for watching him play last year... is going to cost me  $30 mil of cap space and 2 top picks that I could use on defense.   I would prefer to use all those assets elsewhere at this particular time.   I respectfully disagree with anyone who would prefer otherwise.

I’m thinking let’s bring in a vet pass rusher, S and WR.

Wasn’t he playing with a messed up hand most the year shocker he didn’t look like himself shocker his play from the self part before the injury looked drastically different from his play after the injury

I think you see this team as way worse as they are just like other see this team as way better then they are when we are actually somewhere in the middle of both.

Your let’s spend next 5 years to rebuild before we go for a QB is how people lose jobs in todays NFL it’s such an outdated mindset especially when we see teams yearly go from terrible to good hell Bengals prime example this year 4 wins to SB.

I’ll just go down the list…

1.Yes Wilson struggled had a hurt finger most the year a terrible OL. 2. Yea Wilson top 2 WRs are better then our didn’t dispute that but are top 2 aren’t terrible and we have a way better TE. 3. Our OL is way bette then anything he has had in Seattle his entire career and that’s even if Kelce/Lane retired today. But if the fear is that we don’t know how long they play why not maximize the time they have left Wilson does that for the OL. 4. 19m would likely be the cap hit for Wilson 16th among QBs. 5. Just like you don’t know what happens with Kelce and Lane you have no clue what happens with draft picks maybe they work maybe that don’t but I’d much rather have two first rounders this year and Wilson over just 3 first rounders

I’d prefer to compete and not use some outdated let’s wait 5 years to turnaround mindset that just doesn’t work anymore in the NFL. Use your assets to improve the team Wilson going to play at a high level for 5+ years the cap hit is minor for a QB and we still have the cap space and the draft capital to keep building.

Pass on the vet S and pass rushers I agree on the WR though.
Add a Juju at WR paired with Smith/Watkins

One year.  Consistently have said one year.   Use the picks while we have them to build the team.  Let the old guys play their last year, clear the cap, while making the picks.  Then you are in great position....especially with one more year of seeing Hurts,  who has the blind loyalty of enough of the fanbase and organization.... that leaves zero doubt and gets everyone on board..

1 year is not 5 years.   But it can be the difference between constantly being mediocre at best, and being a true contender.

1 year can be the difference in a ton your right of Hurts isn’t the guy who clearly the organization doesn’t value hence the QB talks already. We do nothing use these picks this year and they don’t pan out lose our older players.

We could be in the position of still needing everything on D and needing to mortgage assets to get a QB.

The difference I see this your is the Eagles can get a QB without having to mortgage much of anything. 2022& 23 1st rounders and Hurts maybe a mid round pick.

Still have your two 1st this year rest of the picks next year you have all your picks minus the 1st and after that your have all your picks.

Versus using all this picks this year then mortgaging 3 years of picks to move up if Hurts isn’t the guy which you clearly don’t believe he is.

If things don't pan out.... then we won't have to use much to get a QB either.    You go QB now, investing the picks and the cap spsce.... then your team, especially your defense could suffer for a long time.   You give away the picks, and the cap space.

Congrats though,  you have Russell Wilson with not much else.    Story of the Eagles this century ...having a QB and not much else.

Wilson is a 32 year old  Qb that has used his legs as much as his arm to win games.

How much longer can that last?

I feel the same way as you regarding Wilson. Ride next season with Hurts/Minshew, then get a rook QB for the '23 season. Need to finish getting this team young. Need some damn D players! Gonna be some growing pains, but it'll be better in the long run, hopefully.
