Looking at the roster list, the WR room is in serious need of help, even our BU's need to be better,so I would be fine taking 3 WR's through this draft, one by round 2,then 2 others wherever they may fall. COx re-signed but for me the writing is on that wall

I don’t see us being able to roster a bunch of new WR. Just get one really good one and we are getting somewhere.

I can see us being able to fit 3 more on our roster.... but I'll still take the one goof one all day long 8 days a week.   I want the guy that demands the double teams or the top coverage guy.  Put that guy with Smith and Goedert and you got yourself the potential of a top offense.

Why not?? Guys like Thornton and Gray will go late, they are nice projects with upside. More ceiling that the flatlined BU's we have now and time to develop them or cut them. Best guys rostered, that is the point of the draft. The late picks need to beat the guys we have.

RIght!!! Pick up Olave(or similar), Thornton is round 5  pick(but my boy is on the move UP) SO is Danny Gray from SMU. Now you have your starter opposite Smith, you can put anyone you want in the slot and rotate them. Thornton and Gray give you higher ceilings than some of the dead weight we are carrying. By round 5 noone you select is going to start, but you try to find players you can develop into starters in 1 or 2 years

LMAO we aren't ADDING we are REPLACING. the roster number won;t change, you just have better guys everyone ON it

Another stab at it   1-15-Jordan Davis(preferred) or Jermaine Johnson-DT 1-18 Olave-WR    2-51-Jalen Pitre-S     3-83-Tariq Wollen-CB  3-101-Brian Asamoah-LB   4-124-Cole Strange-G/C    5-154 Pierre Strong-RB    5-162-Danny Gray-WR  5-166-Tyquan Thornton-WR    7-237- Jermaine Waller-CB(under rated IMO) I would expect the first 3 to start. I would expect Woolen to get some snap time as the year goes along. Same with Asamoah. Cole Strange is a nice prospect and another addition to the "what if Kelce retires" clan. Can rotate in at G to get his feet wet. Strong I know we visited with. He may go earlier than I have him,but a nice prospect if he is still around. Gray and Thornton have tremendous upside if they are coached well. Should be better than the BU's we have now. Waller is very under rated IMO and if I can snag him this late I would do so

Lots of 1 years above. I like it.let's hope the draft can replace some of them

IMO end of the line this year for Hightower. I thought he would do better than he has, so out with the old, lets try someone else. Like to keep Ward until we find someone better. Jjaw I was never a fan, apparently they like him for blocking, but seems to me either he or 1 TE will go away. IDK what we do with the Caine kid,but let him compete with some new draftees

Wait..  Hightower ...the dude that dropped Iike 5 TD passes in 2020 because the QB didn't have intangibles...  that guy is still on the roster?  I thought he was cut?

Ward has a good relationship with Hurts. Reagor will cost more to cut. Just added Paschal. Have several developmental prospects. We just need a starter right now. That’s it.

I don't want to say " that's it"  but certainly the priority should be getting the top guy over focusing on 4th and 5th WRs.

IDC about relationships if the production is not there. They don't need to be friends, they need to do their jobs. Paschal is fine as a BU. Another case of "I know this guy" by Siri. I won't judge until I see if he can produce in an occasional rotational role. Gotta stop taking guys because you know them and take guys that put up numbers

I'm not cutting Reagor,I am sitting Reagor. If someone makes me a trade offer I'd look at it. He ran out of chances IMO. Really a POOR POOR pick by Howie

Sure, but we saw how bad our BU's were when Alshon and Djax went down. Ward and Fulgham were "fair" in relief, but I would like  better BU's,so I see nothing wrong with making the room better. Like I said Paschal is fine on a show me 1 year.

Not really high hopes, but I am excited to see what Pascal can do. I love his never die "dawg" mentality. Maybe Siri can open another element of his O. 🤞

The room is better ....much better... with adding one legit starter.   Let's focus on that first. The roster needs a lot.... how about starters this year.

I absolutely think relationships matter. I believe Hurts trusts Ward. That’s great for your fifth WR. Siri is the one that needed to get on board. You can’t produce from the bench.

Yes, add a starter and everything in the WR room looks soooo much better. Paschal as the fourth should be an upgrade.

Wasn't it Ward's fault we lost to the Giants.   Hurts was awful,  but you kept finding excuses for him...the big one was Ward dropping the TD pass.  Like GB said, the relationship didn't help much in that situation.

At some point you have to look at tangible stuff.   Hurts and Ward.. are they talented enough to be significant pieces on a Superbowl winning team?  All the other stuff us secondary to that.

I'm saying that intangible stuff matters, only if the tangible stuff is there first.

Right...

A #1 + Smith, Watkins, Paschal.... that's pretty good... without concerning ourselves about who is #5 etc.

I'd like to establish the top end of the WR group... that along with Goedert is a very good start.
