Just trade everything back to the second round. Get WR Watson, DT Leal, DE Cameron Thomas, T Faleele

Draft is all about Day Two

DT Demarvin Leal looks to have fallen to our second round pick.

I doubt this. Still to early to say that

Hey guys!

Guess Hurts is on notice w/ this trade

Howie Roseman does it again: The #Eagles have agreed to trade picks No. 16, 19, and 194 to the #Saints in exchange for picks No. 18, 101, 237, a 2023 first-round pick, and a 2024 second-round pick.

Never thought we's keep all 3 first rd picks. A little surprised at how far ahead of the draft we did it

That's gonna change everyone's mocks

This makes sense...  was hard for me to fathom a bad team giving up their 2nd rounder and next year's first.

We still have 15 here...  which makes sense, I didn't see them giving up their best pick.   They get to pick in front of the Saints twice.... barring any more moves.  A way to keep some control.

Joe Banner had an interesting comment on this.  He predicted it... Basically saying they have been over-hyping a certain player.

Still two 1sts what’s 101 a 3rd.. then two 1sts next year… then the extra 2nd in 2024

and don’t image the saints being that good

Has Howie been charged with rape yet?

Thought we had another pick from the Colts for Wentz. Is that one now coming from Washington?

OK, that's traded. FOr some reason thought we had another one.

2022 draft picks (10 total): 1st round (15th overall), 1st (18), 2d (51), 3d (83), 3d (101), 4th (124), 5th (154), 5th (162), 5th (166), 7th (237).
2023 (7): 1st, 1st, 2d, 3d, 4th, 5th, 7th.
2024 (8): 1st, 2d, 2d, 3d, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th.

Welp Eagles are now in a good spot to help the team this year still have ammo next year if needed to get a QB(saints could end up being a high pick) Then have plenty of draft ammo in 2024

Now Howie and the FO just have to be successful with those picks….

What about a trade with Pittsburgh now...  what would we get in addition to pick 20?

Can’t really get how this makes too much sense. Are the Saints with Winston that unexpected team that will really suck this year to get us a high pick?

You don't like the trade for the Eagles?

The Saints with Winston and no Sean Payton yea definitely could see them being a bad team or at best middle of the pack team.

But beyond that what were you expecting??? The Texans or the Lions desperately needing to move back up into round 1 and willing to give up most likely high 1st rounder in 2023 to get a middle of the first round pick for this season???

This trade made way to much sense for the Eagles not to take. We essentially traded one first rounder for a 3rd a 1st next year and a 2nd in 2024.

Team still has plenty of draft ammo this year to help the team now and good future assets for the next two years. And the team could still look to make trades on draft day

The Saints play both Super Bowl reps in 2022, as they've drawn the NFC West and AFC North.
They'll face Stafford, Burrow, Brady (2x), Murray, Carr and Lamar, assuming health.
The Eagles could end up with a high 1st-round pick. Extra motivation: They host the Saints this year.

Agreed.... here is a better way to look at it.

Pick 19 for pick 18.... win

Pick 194 for pick 101... win

Pick 16 for pick 237, next year's 1st and 2024 2nd. ...  this is where everyone can have their own opinion.   But if you are the Eagles... are you OK giving up next year's first, a 2024 second,  plus a 7th rounder this year for pick 16?  If it was reversed, I wouldn't do it....  certainly not going to move back from 18 to 19 and 101 to 194 in addition to those 3 picks.

No I was exactly stating no way would the obvious terrible teams trade their 2023 first round pick(before this trade was made). So the goal was finding that team that believes they can win that ends up stinking. If the Saints end up a top ten pick next year I like the trade. Otherwise not so much. All this delaying our developing guys for a 2024 second rounder I’m not thrilled about. So now I just need to think on if I believe the Saints will be terrible this season.

There is also still the possibility this is a setup move by Rosie. He could be working a bigger plan we aren’t seeing yet.

Also there seems to be a constant point made by all the media guys how t the Eagles will not have to pay 3 first rounders now and 3 when it comes time for 2nd contract.

This is a no-brainer trade when you look at it from the Eagles perspective.  What is moving up from 19 to 18 usually cost?   From 194 to 101?    The cost being pick 16 but then getting a 1st, 2nd and 7th back.

A team that lost the coach, the LT and veteran leader, S in Jenkins.   Who did they add so far?
