The room is better ....much better... with adding one legit starter.   Let's focus on that first. The roster needs a lot.... how about starters this year.

LOL I have already stated I want a WR no later than round 2(aka starter). Doesn't mean you can't get better BU's to groom for the future with some late pick projects. By round 5 that's all you are getting

I absolutely think relationships matter. I believe Hurts trusts Ward. That’s great for your fifth WR. Siri is the one that needed to get on board. You can’t produce from the bench.

On field CHEMISTRY matters, not relationships. Don't confuse the 2

Right...

A #1 + Smith, Watkins, Paschal.... that's pretty good... without concerning ourselves about who is #5 etc.

I'd like to establish the top end of the WR group... that along with Goedert is a very good start.

I'm hoping to see some progress from that TE Jackson since he should be healthy now. I think 1 TE gets cut

Saw some mocks where Olave goes at 11 to the Wuss. next up would be Williams who transferred FROM OSU to Bama because he was 3rd behind Olave and Wilson. If he was 3rd at OSU, then I want 1 of the other 2 LOL. Some have him(Williams) ranked higher than Olave. I hope the Wuss like him at 11 so we can snag Olave

Projection

#29           My boy Watson is on the move. If we miss on Olave trade back and snag this kid

Round 1-Olave at 15,then either McDuffie-CB or Wyatt-DT Round 2 Pitre/Brisker at S

GB... you can get backups ..that's great... we can get other positions too.   Starters at those other spots.    I look at it this way..  a hit on a draft pick at WR... then we are done worrying about it for a while.   That's the big thing.  The most important thing.   Like I'll ask you... who are the backups in Cincy?  Do they matter... sure they do... but with Higgins and Chase as the young foundation... Burrow is set. I want that ... let's get that first step out of the way.  Then it's all gravy.

Wasn't it Ward's fault we lost to the Giants.   Hurts was awful,  but you kept finding excuses for him...the big one was Ward dropping the TD pass.  Like GB said, the relationship didn't help much in that situation.

At some point you have to look at tangible stuff.   Hurts and Ward.. are they talented enough to be significant pieces on a Superbowl winning team?  All the other stuff us secondary to that.

I'm saying that intangible stuff matters, only if the tangible stuff is there first.

This is kind of load of garbage. Part of a Sb winning team? Plenty of crappy players wear rings. Especially as backups. With Ward I think: can he be a dependable part of the rotation and room. I think he’s a good guy to have for that. Would I rather be able to pull Jerry Rice off the bench as the fourth, fifth or sixth option? Of coarse. He can contribute and he’ll be where he’s supposed to be. That’s important. Him and the QB have a good relationship. Could he,as a backup, stepup and win some important games for us in a pinch in a larger role? Yep, he checks that box too. Already did in fact. Carried us almost single handly(at WR) to the playoffs. I want bigger faster guys that are elite instead of Ward. I’m fine if what you call those guys is …..wait for it…..starters.

Tyler Boyd. But yeah. Let’s get three guys like that. Maybe we can actually improve the rest of the team also though.

Ward is a backup. That is very secondary  to the major issues the team needs to improve. Him as your fourth or lesser WR is a positive to me. He’s not some super developmental guy with potential to become Randy Moss. Just a quality backup Wr.

What about this guy Jared Burnhardt?

The 6-foot-1 athlete was a star lacrosse player at Maryland, taking home the Tewaaraton Award as the nation's best collegiate lacrosse player in 2021.

While Bernhardt played QB at Ferris State last year, leading the Bulldogs to a Division 2 National Championship, he'll be a receiver/kick returner in the NFL.

You guys reading about the rumor of Brady wanting to join the Phins? Supposedly he met in thebossses yacht about it and everything. Flores was supposed to be there but didn’t show. Then talked about this incident in his lawsuit. They wanted to hire Sean Peyton from the Saints also. I mean it sounds like this whole plan was worked out and about to launch….right when Flores blew everything up with the lawsuit.

So just think now how much everything the Phins have done is because TB12 is coming to South Beach.

Aqeel Glass Alabama A&M

Glass is the top passer among HBCU quarterbacks, and he is one of the best QBs in college football. Glass has the prototypical frame (6’5″, 215 pounds), a powerful right arm with athleticism to boot. Glass threw for 12,136 yards, 110 touchdowns, and 41 interceptions in his Alabama A&M career.

This guy looks really pretty darn good

We have 10 picks we can add at least 1 more WR late. A round 5 won't kill us

What about him? Is there an opening for a Lacrosse player on the Eagles?

This HBCU thing is racist BULLSH**   BTW now that the NFL has ruled there is a quota for black coaches, the Eagles need to cut 23% of their team and replace them with white guys, asians and latinos because if we want league parity it should be league wide no???? Oh, my bad, it only works ONE WAY. Pathetic

Ham they don't PLAY anybody LOL. I'm sure if you had put Ali,in his prime into the golden gloves tournament he would do well

SO now you want 1) the 80 yard punter, 2)A QB who is one of the few athletes in his league and 3) a LaCrosse player. Should make for an interesting draft and you're complaining about a round 5 WR???? Amazing

Is what it is. He has the size and arm that all some seem to care about.
