Lia has the intangibles...  used to have other tangible stuff too.

As far as this signing, he had some skills once. Seems he wants to still do track too??? IDK I tend to like players that are 100% committed to football. He's no worse than Reagor(that's a low bar I know lol)

Yrs ago wanted to get track guys, a lot of peeps said they didn't like getting hit. Just read there have been 32 of them in the NFL. At least this guy knows what to expect. Never know - could be the next Renaldo Nehemiah.

Stay positive ya'll

Why do we want him to be the next Nehemiah?

Sad news

Most ALL news sad today

https://www.nbcsports.com/philadelphia/eagles/eagles-observations-underrated-area-where-drastic-improvement-needed   Interestingly, they have the same 2 positions first that I have(Olave or Wilson is fine with me). My question now for you D guys is WHO is the better FIT for us, Johnson or Davis. I know Davis combine numbers were crazy but Johnson seems better suited to this defense.

BTW that hurdler we just signed could be a boon to our ST's. Kinda reminds me of Devin Hester a bit

Vermeil had football players. Let's not forget.  Taking things to the extreme on all the other stuff is what gets teams in trouble.

Sumo wrestlers for the lines.

Bring it all together. Form an unstoppable team. Not everybody is a first rounder. It can work.

Anyone need a fire put out... Eagles will draft a good fireman in round 1.  Intangibles off the chart.

So you’d rather get talented guys with no intangibles? Nit sure what your problem is here. Good hard working guys is a great way to get this thing going. Build it up.

Draft the most talented athlete that hates football. See how that turns out. You get guys with tons of both and their All Pro. I’ll settle for talented hard working guys all day. Love rooting for those types to succeed. Can’t get into the Asomugouah and Wentz types.

Tons of talented thugs too. But I’d rather root for a lesser talented guy that’s a great guy. Kind of why I’m just not a Dallas fan. Let them go for it with their prison players.

I really enjoyed rooting for last years underdog team. Gave me great pleasure. Overachieving hard working blue collar bunch. Good stuff. Add some blue chip talent guys and we are off and running. Or just trade back for 2024 second rounders.

Totally different ends if the roster. Camp body and Pro bowl players shouldn’t be confused in the sane thought.

That damn Deon Sanders. Could have been good if he just focused only on football.

I'll take 2017...  for the best roster.  You can take it for the ending.   I know the ending is not going to happen without the pure dominance for 3/4 of the season.   The intangibles were there with your arch nemesis Wentz.

The point... you look for talent first and foremost...then the other stuff.  Without the talent, move on.   That's when you get in trouble...drafting a fireman... drafting a WR for speed...drafting a gimmick QB for speed.  Etc.  Chip worrying too much about hand size...etc.   Can they play football..  then do you think they will blend in well and work hard.    Not, they will blend in and work hard first.

Ok... what was overachiever about last year.  Which win was overachievement? Which game was competitive vs any decent team?

This is where you seem to disagree with everyone that has eyes.   OMG the way they over-achieved to beat the Jets and Detroit.   So proud watching them beat the Giants with Glennon and all backups?    Where was any " over achievement"

What win will you tell the grandkids about?

But entertainment value. Anything on defense you find entertaining?   Offensively, is the QB running that entertaining?  You can't see that on any Saturday?
