I’d say Tom Brady is more swimming in intangibles than he is supreme athleticism. He’s pretty good. Not fast. Not a cannon arm.

I agree... again you mistake athleticism for talent.

LMAO he was QB 1 by default we had NOBODY else HAHAHAHAHA. They were already forcing Wentz out(DUH)

He took the job from your boy

Who was a more talented basketball player... Larry Bird or a guy like Robert Covington?   Talent has more to do with skills than it does with athleticism.   Throwing a ball is a skill.  Many people have strong arms via lifting weights but can't throw a ball as far as the next guy.   Accuracy is a skill, a talent.

In baseball hitting is a talent, being able to track a ball with your eyes.. in the field as well.

Gretzky was a talented hockey player, he was in the middle of the pack when they did speed drills and dead last in upper body strength.  But hockey skills were his talent.

Being strong and fast doesn't make you talented.

We had nobody else LOL.They already set Wentz and Ped up to fail or are you BLIND???? if we go all defense all early in this draft they will be setting Hurts up to fail also(which is what they want as an excuse to go for a QB next year)

Just like how talented Hurts is. It’s pretty incredible a guy can possess all that.

Just need a few more pieces and Hurts will make a run at winning the division.

No a "few" will be in '23/'24. We need ALOT in this draft. And we can get alot of it if we draft well. We can even make the BU's better. Somme one needs to take over for Cox and I mean play at the level he did at his peak. Kelce threatens to retire every year. Our WR's are 2nd rate. RB's seem "ok" Nothing to get too excited about. QB is an issue if he hasn't grown from his 1 read and run play style. Another TE would be in order soon. We have Goedert and 4 rotationals. Would like to develop another STUD for 2 TE sets. jackson showed promise, but with injuries we still don't know. Our pass rush all but vanished last year and that's notgoing to fly with Lurie. DB's are always a problem. Slay is not getting up there and we need TWO(at least) CB's and a nice young S. Looks like we bandaged up LB a little bit once again So please don't tell me we are a "few" pieces away. I hope Reddick plays up to the hype. We could use it

They should be able to win the division now.   Look how bad the other teams are supposed to be

Think Stoll is looking very solid as a TE2 here. Think you are sleeping on Maddox in the slot. We rostered like six young CBs last year. Gotta believe one or two steps up and shows promise….or else people should probably be fired. Nelson is still available as an option. White brings the speed in coverage. Edwards is a starter. Taylor they were developing before injury. Epps is a solid looking young S. Gravedigger, Cox and Milton is really tough to complain about at DT. Get Graham back on the edge. Sweat has improved every season. Tarron Jackson has shown he can play in this league and expect he’ll continue to develop. Brought in Reddick to attack the QB. He’s very athletic and could see him showing versatility to do more than just that.

Why is Reddick listed as a LB on the roster? We roster alot of people. Rostering alot of mediocre people doesn't help the team. yeah we have a few guys that may emerge but of all those you listed(besides Reddick) who is a difference maker? We need difference makers, not rooms full of average

LOL so WENTZ would be the QB(not Hurts) And as also stated a WR in round 1 this year would displace Agholor(never a fan). So despite the "hater" mentality you have for Wentz he would be the starter. SO 17 from 2017 and only 8 from last year. TO me that means we have alot of work to do and are not a "few" pieces away(which I have also been saying). This draft can really soup up the rebuild,or if Howie blows it,set us back 2 more years

BTW I did mention I liked Stoll. He is not technically that good, but he really busts his buns on every play. I know you like that stuff too. I think he has limited talent and I hope he grows a bit more into his secondary TE role. as far as TE 2,Jackson showed promise before the injury bug. Like to see if he's "got it" or not to displace Stoll I like that he Stoll) doesn't give up or take plays off, he is always busting, and when he drops a pass, you can see he is actually upset with himself(unlike Jergoff Reagor). I could still see us taking a promising TE,they will drop off a cliff this draft despite the talent level,so a steal is entirely possible. That way we can have 4 TE's not 6 and open the roster spots for other positions. I did a play draft above where you can see I took a nice TE prospect(Jelani Woods)

Cox dropped off production wise. He will need replaced unless he lights it up His age MUST BE a concern now if we are rebuilding. Milton is ok,not pro bowl or anything,so I will complain if I want to. WR is still a mess with no continuity and it's hard to rely on Hurts to achieve that continuity. Need 2 more WR's who can grow and work together and lose about 4 that we have now. Give me solid starters and excellent BU;s and cut the dead weight we carry around

Lots of talented RB's in this draft. Due to positional needs there will be RB bargains galore. I like Pierce from FL (round 3) and Strong from S. Dakota st(round 4/5). . Liked the Gainwell pick last year. He probably stays. Sanders, Scott, but after those 3, I think we still need competition and the 2 mentioned would provide that. With all we need, I tend to go for Strong later and use the round 3 for something else more urgent

https://www.draftdive.com/cj-verdell-scouting-report/   Here is this years annual  DITR/Sleeper/UDFA RB pick. Short and tough like Sproles. A few nagging injuries, but he should be RANKED not a UDFA. I'll steal him and see what happens. If he can stay healthy(and I believe he can transition to the NFL) he could be am nice COP RB or used as a returner on ST's

Got the juke moves like Sproles used to have. If we don't take a RB in this draft(we really don't NEED to) I would snag this guy in a second.UDFA or my 7th

Philadelphia went 0-6 (plus a loss to the Chargers) against playoff teams last year, but they are tied with the Giants for the easiest schedule this season while facing the fewest quality (7) and elite teams (3). The Eagles’ roster remains more intact than any other NFC playoff team from last season, and they have three top-20 picks in this April’s draft. If you’re down on Dallas, the Eagles are an interesting consideration to win the NFC East at +350.   From BGN

I agree and disagree. Not everybody is a big playmaker. Need a solid group of players for sure. Get a couple decent guys coached up and they can be serviceable at some things. Like a Paschal potentially. But I absolutely agree we need more playmakers. Offense and defense. Got the ball rolling year one. Smitty is good playmaker. Goedert is a good playmaker. I still believe in Miles as a playmaker. Brought in Reddick to be a playmaker. I think Maddox can be. Slay definitely prime time playmaking. Sweat is. Milton I see it happening.

Wentz that one season over Hurts now? Yes. But yep…need some playmakers. Keep building this new core up. Win the division this year. Add draft and FA to finish the puzzle next year……might just have something.

Wentz got us to the playoffs, Foles took us home and we played against alot of very good teams in 2017. Hurts has not been close to being tested yet. This year is actually another EASY year as far as opponents go. That may change a little after the draft, but not alot. We have another easy schedule, but lets see how we do vs those teams at full strength. Hurts is working hard I'm sure. He HAS to. I just don't see any team paying him 40 million a year. He is probably a lifetime BU. Still, you can make an awfully good living doing that with alot less injury risk. Foles made alot of money as a BU. He died where Shew died, in JAX,so really we don't even know what Shew is capable of with a DECENT team around him. he could be better in camp than Hurts, but Howie's ego would never allow the change to be made even if it was the best for the team. So to save his ego, he will x them both and start anew
