Since we picked Hurts I haven’t seen anyone drafted that’s better so far. I believe Lawrence is a big time player. But it hasn’t shown up yet.

Mac Jones is looking better.

He's coming off of a career year, in which he caught 77 passes for 1,405 yards and six touchdowns. He was also used as a running back for the San Francisco 49ers, rushing 59 times for 365 yards and eight more touchdowns.

Deebo

Not sure if you’ve seen him play or look at these stats you wouldn’t be with me and want Deebo Samuel?

Mac isn’t as good as Jalen. But I will give you he’s the closest out of all the guys that have been drafted. Bellicheat has him accurately dinking and dunking away. Really has Jones maxing out. He has a good head on his shoulders to game manage.

In my fantasy I have a super stud playmaker like a…I don’t know….Big Play Slay. Then an underrated scrappy slot guy….like Maddox. Need a solid second outside corner though. He needs to be a good tackler and have a short memory. I’d obviously like him to be lockdown in coverage but having everybody be great isn’t very realistic. I can easily envision us taking a corner in the first round of the draft though. To me that would be ideal. Have a young stud be coached by a supposed top secondary coach in Gannon and being mentored by Slay. So I’m striving for more than you at CB right now. Really see how it could come to fruition(which means it absolutely won’t happen).

You are living in your fantasy world then... Slay, Maddux and Hurts... that's the All Ham team right there.

Deebo to me would be the absolute BEST WR to match with Hurts.   Hurts can throw 3 yard passes and let Deebo do all the work.   That's exactly what is needed to make up for the limitations that Hurts has.  Plus both of them can run.   We could bring college ball to the NFL.

Hurts is terrible. Can't throw past 3 yards. Can't read a defense.

Bucs made him one dimensional.

We are not paying Hurts big money . . . ever.

We are replacing Hurts as soon as possible.

I disagree...  think Hurts throws very accurately up to 7 or 8 yards... that was your first point.  The rest I think just needs to happen with time.  No shot do I see Howie and Lurie paying Hurts big money.   Barring massive improvements in TANGIBLE stuff that QBs do... ie. read and throw.

His teammates love him... similar to Rudy.   He can run... that's great.  Read and throw for the contract.

He’s definitely a playmaker. Hurts could use sone of them. I really like how Deebo would compliment the Wr room. Quez, Smitty and Deebo sounds great to me. I like it.

Legit...if we add Deebo there is a fair chance we could keep the score close vs a decent team.  Drafting a 3rd stud CB would definitely put us there.

Yes .. Jones sees the field and makes throws.    The tangible part of being a QB.

My point is you need them all. A few cheap guys that were maybe undrafted that work out. Plenty of solid good players. You absolutely need some playmaking difference makers. Why I absolutely make a trade for Deebo. I’d say Slay is our top guy right now.

Nope thats too many eggs in 1 basket for a WR. he gets hurt and you lose BIG

You just stated how only signing mid level players is striving for the bronze standard yet are too conservative to do what it takes to get an elite First Team All Pro. Deebo lined up as RB even. He’s not just a deep threat Go Route guy. He’s more a bully tough WR. Which is a rare in this specialized track star position. Fits our identity perfect. Make the trade and pay him.

Not happening, but you can dream, and if they gave away the deal you want,I would forever lose faith in this FO

Locate the next Deebo in the draft. It's ALOT cheaper. You bi7ch about cap money but you want to sell the farm for ONE guy that is NOT a QB? With a QB that can't get the ball to him? Insanity

What stats did JJ put up his ROOKIE year????(and he is STILL on rook salary)

Obviously would love to just draft endlessly great players like Slay and Deebo. Need to at least to do some that way. But I’d take the sure thing proven stud than trust the draft pick. Several of these first round players won’t even be good.

Yes, would be great to draft Aaron Donald’s with all our picks. That’s a dream world also. I will admit based on percentages alone you’d think we should be due some great players from the draft.

We gave up a our first and third rounder to get Smitty last year. I’m thinking the price is fairly close to that for Deebo. Of coarse there is the money. Gotta pay some guys.

I just rather pay Slay and Deebo level guys than players not even with the team any more.

Dude... Deebo plays for SF. If and when he becomes a free agent, then we can make an attempt.   Let's focus on what can happen now and live in reality.

Slay = Revis I guess...lol.

So in your opinion Slay is key.  He's a stud.  You didn't like our 2017 CBs at all.

Which defense did you like better the 2017 one or last year.   Keep in mind CB and having that stud is the " key " thing and where we should put the $$ ???

And don't tell me Patrick Robinson who had a good year, was all of a sudden the whole difference.  He was better than expected, but in reality how much if at all better was he than your other boy Maddux?   Did Robinson matchup with other teams stud weapons ...like how "Belicheat" would use only one CB to shut down that weapon?

This is why to me, I wouldn't invest big money into one CB.

It’s the popular rumor based on many facts that Deebo wants to be traded.

How many times have we seen"proven" players die with their new team?

Well come on now, when you pass on guys like Metcalf and JJ you have serious scouting issues. Howie "schooled" himself one year, which is NOT enough, He needs to go back to school on defensive selections(although he took a chance on Jones simply because of the fallen value he had). Now with 4 picks in 3 rounds(possibly more) you had better hit 75% of that(the failed guy better be the round 3 pick) or I consider that a failed draft IMO
