No crap he isn’t mobile…. But a pocket passer doesn’t knock you to UDFA. Hell Mac Jones isn’t mobile.

Having a major knee injury in high school that he has had surgeries on through college cleanings draining etc. definitely would though hence the it’s his biggest knock

He made it through this season though. So I like the pickup. I do think lack of mobility is a big factor also though. It’s needed in todays game. At least some ability to move around the pocket.

I liked EJ Perry as well

I have no problem bringing him in. Kind of guy you like to have at practice and in the meeting rooms.

Yea he had his knee drained before the start of it…

Again im not disputing he isn’t mobile and I think that lack of mobility alone is why he would have been a late 1st early 2nd round guy…

The knee concerns though is why he fell. I love the pickup I’m just stating that the knee injury was the biggest knock and why he fell so far was his biggest red flag

I'm betting it won't be long until; Calacaterra moves up the chart

I think Pascal going to be the top backup in the slot.
Honestly think it will be tough for Ward to even make the team.

Smith/Brown/Quez/Pascal are your top 4 I’d image. Doubtful we just cut Reagor so I’ll say he is 5 if he isn’t traded.

Would leave Ward as maybe #6 if we keep 6

On Devon Allen, the WR we signed in April;

Devon Allen, whom the Eagles signed as a free agent wide receiver in early April, won in the Penn Relays’ Olympic Development men’s 110-meter hurdles competition with a time of 13.11 seconds — breaking a meet record that stood since 1998, and setting a new best time in the world this year. He beat his friend and rival, Jamaica’s Omar McLeod, by just 0.11 seconds.

Well we have the OLBs that can rush now…. Reddick, Johnson, the kid we drafted this year, Avery.
Got options for bigger DEs as well with Milton and Cox

Hargrave was a NT for Pitt so he has that experience and of course we just drafted Davis.

Dean and White both from 34 D units Edwards could be fine as well as a ILB in a 34 good run stuffer.

So definitely have the ability on paper at least to deploy some 34 looks

3-4 and probably a bunch of 5-2 looks. That’s what I was wondering and expecting in my mind. All based on Gannon pressers. Avery I think we let walk. Was a sign to me that we would get better options with potential. I think Gannon really likes the ability of having a LB attack up the middle. Blitzing the center can give the most problems to an offense. Something Schwartz should have utilized occasionally. Our defense will run off Davis in the middle for years I’d expect.

Think his biggest issue will be blocking not sure anyone will unseat Stoll as the primary #2… Though definitely could see Calacaterra getting reps as the #2 receiving TE if we want those looks or if Geodart misses time

No doubt. I figured it’s why he would struggle to be picked the first two days. To be undrafted is shocking to me. He’s super accurate with a cannon arm.

He should be listed as as returner

Yes, he’s one of the guys I brought up as a good sleeper pick. Very good receiver. All a matter of concussion. He could just retire if he suffers another.

I like we have the different talent TE's and not clones. Blockers, catchers, ones that get some YAC's we can toss alot of TE looks around

He should be listed as camp body

I 100% agree as I stated Strong has starter potential. Dude has an NFL caliber arm.

I wanted EJ Perry as a UDFA,glad we got him. He will be a slower developer(not real demanding in the Ivy league),but could work into a solid BU

Pedey and Siri both didn’t appreciate Ward. But think both started to after actually utilizing him. A good solid reliable backup WR.

Why,he's a speed demon, perfect for returns. He played before so we know he can catch

Meh is below par. Think both coaches realize that hence why we have been consistently trying to upgrade. Best sign this team has improved at WR if he finally gets the ax

I am disappointed in Hightower,I thought he had potential, but I think it's time for him to go also

Just think everybody wasn’t willing to give Ward much of a chance. Seems like he just steps up and does a quality job most every opportunity he’s given. He’s not fast enough. Not big enough. Doesn’t have enough experience. Yet comes in and most always gets open and catches the pass. Looks like he has a solid bond with our QB. There is a trust and understanding there. Can’t cut Reagor but he should be ahead of him.

Ward doesn’t have the huge upside to develop. That’s his biggest knock. Saw he performs better than many starters even though when he got his major opportunity with Wentz to get us into the postseason that year.

Probably true. Pretty good level of player to be on the PS. Emergency call up you could do worse.
