Jarvis Landry is about the only current available FA I’m interested in. I don’t expect we make a move for him. Things will change. Certain guys will become cut candidates and lose jobs to some of the rooks.

Say we sign Landry...what happens to your boy Ward?

Unless it's punter. 🤣

Why would you choose not to improve it if you could? makes no sense not to. It's a "game of inches" so why wouldn't YARDS matter to you?

Sarcasm...  just because I'm not angry about using a draft pick on a punter doesn't mean I wouldn't mind competion and the best results from the position.    Apparently some of you feel like we had to draft one or it's the end if the world.

I want to go into next year feeling almost 100% that I have my franchise QB.  Or that it's time to move on.   The rest is all a distant second to me...because I feel those fixes will be so much easier.    The foundation of our team... QB and the lines... could all need changes next year.   Hurts, Kelce, Cox, Graham, Barnett... maybe Hargrave...  might all be gone.  These last 2 drafts, be nice to see these kids all step up.

So while I absolutely wouldn't mind better punts...  I think it's pretty insignificant in the current big picture.  We played 17 games last year, won a game with a blocked punt... not sure our own punter cost us anything as the games we lost ( other than the Giants) weren't really close.

Not so much Joe. We took 10 picks made then 5 good picks, and I'm really ok with that. Accumulating picks is why you do it - to get better "ranked"  players  Punter is an area we need to get better at, that's all. As I said a fe days ago. we'll have 3 in camp - guaranteed! Fact is, it's an important position but we took care of others. I;m a happy camper for now

No Mas has a different agenda. I’m looking at a new regime. Got a taste of a butt kicking on the road to the defending SB champs. I’d like to see Siri take another step forward here. The goal for this team is win the division. Do that and have a home playoff game …..he has a shot at his first postseason victory. That’s how I’m looking at things. Think we can be in the second tier of teams in the NFC.

Right... but what do you disagree with.  We won a game with a blocked punt.  Other than the Giants game we weren't close to winning, so the punting ( while sure it could have been better) ultimately meant nothing as far as impact.   We should have 5 in camp...doesn't hurt or cost anything.  I have no problem with that.

Got tastes of butt kicking vs every decent team that had their starting QB play.   Many different flavors in that regard.

I'd like to see one win vs a good team... that would be a phenomenal first step.  One we haven't taken in 3 years.  From there then you can worry about all the other little stuff.

Could say Kelce, Cox and Hargrave replacements are already here. One DT might be worth keeping around awhile longer. Barnett isn’t old. But nothing special to be scared about replacing either. So this statement is all crap.

The best first step to contending ... is winning your first game vs a decent team.   That shows you have potential.

You prefer until that shank is a matter of winning or losing to do something about it. I already see how that can be a big difference.

I’ll consider it all on the way to winning the division. You look backwards and whine.

Yes...and then their replacements need replacements.   Davis, Milton,  Sweat... could be your remaining DL...especially if Reddick is considered a LB.   We absolutely could get a young prospect from within to step up a little..but it's far from a deep group there...especially if any injuries occur.

AGAIN...NO PROBLEM WITH BRINGING IN GUYS TO PUNT DURING CAMP. ...

I there a minimum amount of times it needs to be posted to be understood?

Already noted how several SB winning teams didn’t beat any or only one good team before the playoffs that season. The first step is improve. Follow that up by improving all through the season. It’s not about peaking week three to beat KC. It’s about still being in enough of a position to take advantage of being good at the end.

Which team won a Superbowl without bearing a winning team along the way?

What it's telling me about your thinking.   Let's beat the crap teams and hope to get lucky in the playoffs.

Your reaction the day after in January.  " it was great to see our team win the division, can't fault them for losing to good team in the playoffs "

At some point when you can't beat a good team in 3 years, you have to acknowledge who you are.   This year a huge first step would be beating a good team... and I'm perfectly ok if that win comes in the playoffs.   But if it's another year of the same, I don't think there is any progress in the big picture.

Conversely,  if they beat one or two good teams... I see it as progress, regardless of their record or any playoff appearance.

What happened to the Ham that was all obsessed about..." needing that top seed to have a bye and home field"   wow how the bar has dropped.

My goal every yr is to win the SB. That comes down to players, coaches who use them properly and injuries. The smartest coach can take a ragtang team and take them to the sb. Another great coach can take It is possible. a snakebit team into the netherland. This team - if healthey - can take the SB, imo.

Well not every yr. Would have been nice to lose a few more games last yr

We totally stunk and had a broken culture. I was complaining while you were loving Chipper chase after what we pretty much accomplished year one last season. I really liked the moves we made after Chip. Got on a real hot streak from Rosie. Don’t think anybody thought we would win the SB that year. Even those playoffs… underdogs all the way. But we did win it all. But then we started making questionable moves again. Signing Wallace and him getting injured was probably just bad luck. But a huge string of bad moves. That was very tough for me. We doubled down on a bad team during the pandemic and really sunk the ship to only get four wins. Immediately climbing out of that home though. Not everything like I’d do…but I approve. Took a four win team and willed it to the playoffs after a very terrible beginning under new coaches. I like the scrap. We’re they the best team in all the land? Heck no. That was their ceiling. Think we are still improving. This team has a higher ceiling. All these inexperienced guys are gaining that crucial experience. I don’t see us a SB favorite gang buster squad. Just where this team is at. Think we can win the division and be a second tier team in the conference. Pretty good. Especially considering how much Rosie sold us down the river to get four wins two seasons ago. Even have extra future draft ammo. Things are looking up as far as I’m concerned.

Every team doesn’t have the same bar. When you are climbing out of all the bad money and players from a four win team you have to climb your way out. Or many don’t climb their way out. I’d hope to get to be the superior team in all the land with home field advantage the whole way. Not where we are at right now. Climbing up from a ghastly four win team  just a season before last.

No Mas you and sone others are all about judging where we’re were the first weeks of our new coaches. Haven’t ever been that concerned with that. Hoping we can be a dangerous team at the end of this season.

In your head, No Mas, you’re on an endless rebuild. It’s the NFL. Anything more than a three year plan is probably folly. Everything can change drastically.

Andrew Luck most considered to be in the prime of his career…then just retired. Your plan is way too slow.
