Herbig released? Bet we never hear the truth to whatever happened on that.

Sorry. Just saw the name and panicked. Haha

Rattler is a child; prima donna little baby; very average college QB. No! Please no!

LOL yeah he's only like 20. Of course there is zero way he can mature. BTW I never said I wanted him, merely pointing out 1/2 game of booing is NO REASON to just write someone off

So was Reagor, but we drafted him anyway

2 less games he threw for less than half as many yards. Instead of 28 TDs he threw for 11. Drastic falloff. It happened. It wasn’t just a fan or two. It was the whole country watching the Heisman front runner do a belly flop. Was expected to come out in the draft. Instead he lost his college job. So I’m trying to figure out what he’d have to accomplish for me to ignore his 11 TD season last year to consider him worthy of being a first round pick. Just a reminder that Hurts, the guy who can’t throw, threw 32 TDs in the same offense.

Don't give a rats ass until I see him play this year

He had a 74% completion rate, and a QB rating of 155,has Hurts come close to that? maybe they ran the ball more?

Yeah, that's a weird situation with getting cut right after getting the tender?   Seems weird he declines $2.4 mil.... by " agreeing " on the release?

They " tried " to trade him"???   Why sign him in the first place then?    Who knows?  Maybe he tries to find another gig or he comes back for less???   A little strange.... but ok when strange saves a nice little cap space ..lol.

He just cost actually money tendered at 2.4 mil. Drafting Cam moved him down the depth chart. Seumalo, Cam, Driscoll maybe even behind Opeta. Not to mention the known starters.

You’re trying to become the Rattler apologist….not a great look.

Wasn’t guaranteed money. So the writing was on the wall he wouldn’t make the team because of his pay. He’d be battling for what? Third…fourth string.

Definitely wasn’t behind Opeta but with Opeta costing a fraction of what Herbig would make on his tender would definitely be cheaper option

Considering Semaulo wasn’t guaranteed a starting spot the rookie being unknown and Driscoll health. Could have definitely argued Herbig should have been in the conversation to start at RG.

Not saying he would have won but in the competition

At least I don't have racks of volumes of double standards

It's the "wentz" effect

Well EJ Perry does not to sign with us going to the Jags now

With Shew here and Strong, he probably felt he would never play. NP his ceiling is as a BU short term. Could even become their#2 with a strong camp

Nate Herbig being released have to think the Jags make a ton of sense for him as well

Was definitely going to be an uphill battle for Perry to even make the team with Shew, Strong and even Reid Sinnett who was the #3 last year

Going to a better QB coaching situation.

The #Eagles were waiting to hear back from Carson Strong on Saturday and didn’t think they’d land him, so they agreed to terms with EJ Perry. Strong then accepted their offer. So Perry now heads to the #Jaguars.
