Thanks GB. I'd swear there was another JPJ musician. Destroyed a few brain cells along the way.

I'm there my friend,I have 1 cell left that works sporadically. My daughter wants to take me to the Panthers/Browns game. Told her nah,not a fan of either one,but nice of her to offer

Strong is NOT necessarily one legged. Yrs ago an achilles was career ending. No, he's not going to break a run 40 yds downfield. Move around the pocket, break out to the side - why not? This boared seems to focus on the negative instead of the reality and what could happen. Yes - we could actually have stolen a future good QB - what's wrong w/ that?

No,Ham wants him in bubble wrap in someone's trunk for safekeeping

Can he handle hits on the knees? That's what trainers and PT's are for. Fact is, we wouldn't have hired him if the docs didn't think he couldn't. Personally I think he could be a better deal in the long run than any od the QB's in next yrs' draft. I said "better deal", as in we got him for nothing and those future draft picks may not have to be spent on a QB. I knew that as soon as we got him, y'all slow.

I don't need to debate things for 200 pages. I see things for what they are. figure out the opportunities and move on. Not that there's anything wrong with that, it's fun for some. I just don't have the time or wherewithal to do it and it's partially why I don't post as much as I used to. It's kinda llike a chess game w/ 32 levels, you have to look ahead.

Last yrs' team didn't have a good secondary - teams scored on us. Pass rush wasn't nearly as god as now - better now. We made moves that now other teams are going to have to countermove. Good luck defensing our O, forget about overpowering either of our lines and our d should be able to get off the field. The moves we need is S and P. P will prolly come from USFL, good luck at S, maybe one of our many CB's?

Still feel we will go for a QB next draft if Hurts isn't the guy.If Strong is indeed limited, he can still earn a nice living as our BU. He will still make millions a year after his rook deal expires

These guys absolutely love him…but talk of how he just drags the one leg around playing with one knee. Impressed by the throws he’s making on oneleg.

So yep, seems to me you got to give that knee a chance to heal. Doesn’t appear he’ll ever be super mobile. But continuing to push a knee that clearly isn’t healed doesn’t make much sense at all to me. Think the kid has good value if he can get that knee better. I’m trying to understand what real benefit comes from  practicing on a bad knee? Just seems like so much risk of destroying any chance of a career. Give him a year to heal up…then it is what it is. But at least he’ll have a chance at a career.

He can’t take a hit or weird tweak to that knee clearly. The guy couldn’t walk to practice and class. They gave him rides in a golf cart. Watch his clips. He’s very impressive. But that knee doesn’t look good. He’s not pushing off it. Clearly not running around. Obviously the reason he went undrafted. Don’t see the benefit in pushing this bad knee situation. Why not retain his rights as undrafted free agent on the IR and redshirt one season? Is practicing this year really worth the risk to his potential career?

On paper….in June….before injuries

I read the negative nannies posts in Eeyore's voice, it's actually kinda funny.

Rams have to be all in paying that kinda money for Donald. Yeah he's great, last I heard it takes a team and they're not going to be able to afford squat

Have to be a Dr to really know what to do with Strong about his knee. Just know the Dr and his dad didn’t want him to play last year on it. Nobody drafted him clearly because of his knee. Will it ever heal? Maybe not. Maybe he just plays on the bad knee…gets more surgeries and plays on it the best he can. Maybe that’s the ceiling for him. If there is a chance to stay off it to actually heal…i’d do that for sure.

Clearly ‘All in’ right now. Which makes sense. Donald is the best player in the league. Actually spoke of retiring now he got his ring.

Sounds like McVay doesn’t plan on coaching much longer either.

I have bad knees, actually heading in to start another round of hyalgan shots tomorrow. They have even better stuff not available to us mere mortals. Disagree on the rest, needs to exercise, NFL football hits - wouldn't recommend

Strong's young enough to actually grow cartilage and they have ways to accelerate that - takes money

He moves fine in the pocket, just like the GOAT. And you're predicting that in 6 months with PRO trainers and med staff that won't get any better? IDK I can't predict what happens 6 months from now,but "shelving" him is not the answer or why even bring him in??? If he wasn't mean to have an NFL career we will know that soon enough. I'm not rushing him into service, but ya gotta let the kid get some plays in or bringing him here was pointless

Right, let him do what he can and see if anything is there, sitting him won't tell you anything at all. He could become a nice #2. I'm sure he understands that could be his ceiling and why I believe we still looking at a top QB next draft. maybe Strong stays for 3 years and he heals back to 100% but you can't stash him in a locker for 2_ years and know what's going on. You have to show what you have,he's not going to improve based on doctor reports,he needs to take snaps in practice or if he is ok late season garbage time. Not gonna kill the kid to hand the ball off 8 times LOL

"or bringing him here was pointless"

Now ask yourself, would a multi million ( billion ) company gone into this blind? So let it ride and see what happens. He'll sure get better care than anyone here has access to.

Welp we got him for a song,so even if nothing happens, it's not going to kill us as a team. it was a smart risk/reward move, but you should know if you have knee issues, you just can't rest it 24/7,gotta balance rest and working it.

We took a chance on a guy who never touched a football until 3 yrs ago - that worked!
