Brady vs Hurts-JMO. Hurts is a "nice guy",so is Brady, but on the field Brady takes no BS. He would have had a visible"fit" if Reagor dropped passes constantly and would demand his removal. Hurts needs to grow a pair and do the same. Sometimes being a leader means you cannot afford "nice" if you want to get the job done. Unfortunately the FO did the work for him and Reagor is on the back burner now.

You have the same PTSD about Reagor that Ham has with Wentz.   Time to move on...  let's talk about hang time and dropping the ball inside the 20.  Those things were key to us not winning a title last year.

Their WRs were pretty good last year! What happened?

Hard to know, the stats look ok to me. Ertz was disappointing. In a tougher division than we are

I probably do because I wanted JJ here,so anything LESS puts me in a BAD mood. At any rate,I got my wish and reagor is a #4 or 5 now

It's not really hard to see what happened though ...is it?   What about the playoffs the year before?

Anyway... we aren't going anywhere without a new punter.

Welp,I'd like to bring some in because we should improve that position. Every position matters. I like the punter from TB in the USFL

11-6 isn't terrible in a TOUGH division

Started out well... the finish???   It is what it is.   We shall see what happens.  If he stays there he will get paid.   Starting QBs will be paid huge going forward... IMO every new deal will be over 40 mil per from this point.

Except Hurts according to Ham.   Because it's easy to see the players association being happy with a young African-American playing for peanuts on his first deal and then taking a huge discount on his 2nd contract.  It fits right in with the times.

Right... Hopkins was there, wasn't so much the front office not knowing how to build around Murray.  He has had it pretty good so far.

This is where I give Hurts a pass... so far he hasn't had what Murray has had.  Until now.   So it's his time to light it up and win some games.    Arizona didn't win because of their safeties and their punter... which seems like everyone's issue this year for us.

Hopkins was put on IR at the end of their season. Huge part of their offense. Watt was out a few games also

Kirk is gone and wondering if Hopkins is "injury prone" I didn't delve into what his injury was,so IDK. They have a good coach who still believes Murray is the guy,so my SOL think they pay him.If they bolster their running game that would help. Ertz 3 TD's I suspect he will do better this year(564 yards is fine for a TE but the TD's weren't there)

Neither the GMs fault for lack of team building.

He is 100% on the money.   If anyone believes in his arm... no reason the sky isn't the limit.   If he fails... probably going to be the arm.

It's the brain. Can he anticipate into tight widows on the 3rd read.

Age isn't playing style.  Not even close.

There is always a first time. Game is always evolving. You stuck on how the SB was won in the Ninties has little baring on anything.

Is that what it seems to you?  Murray is turning down money because every team would pay him huge money after all his success?    Every team wants him so much?

You respect Baltimore way of doing this... what do you expect the outcome to be here?

Their GM said their is a standard time to work out these contracts. After all the other stuff is over. Basically stating he’s ready to negotiate now.

My(ex) son in law lives in Phoenix. They are 100% all in on Murray. They are rebuilding like we are. Still alot of pieces to go,they are about a year behind us in the process. I would imagine like us,they COULD draft a rook QB, but like us this year, they have other holes to fill. The FO is WORSE than ours as far as mismanagement of said roster. In a tough division also. My(ex) son in law said they are looking for .500 this year. Very similar position to what we had last year. Murray needs weapons and Murray will stay there until the team is rebuilt, just like Hurts is for us. In both cases it's "wait and see"

Murray needs weapons? Weapons have been there. They just brought in his college teammate Hollywood Brown this offseason. They had a very good team. Murray was disappointing. He really seemed to fold the more everything was on the line. I believe Hurts is better.

That comes with being established with the team. Brady carries a much different weight than Hurts. But I like that Hurts likes to build guys up. Heard way too much how anybody drops something falls right in ARod’s doghouse. Hold everybody accountable…..but the fans been hard enough on Reagor here….what he needed was some support and belief. He clearly possess se talent. Stinks we haven’t been able to get it out of him.

Hurts is a winner and a natural born leader. This fall, I see him guiding the Eagles to an NFC East title. And you better believe this team will be a tough out in January.

I agree with this assessment mostly

How much anticipating can you actually do once you get all the way to the third read?

Murray is missing some key things you need in a leader. He’s got a big arm. What would you call those harder to measure factors that he’s missing and are so key in why he fails in the clutch?

"Anytime you've seen quarterbacks after the third year do their contract extensions, it's generally been anywhere from about July to September," Keim said on Mad Dog Sports Radio.

Keim is the Cards GM

All of this, of course, helps quarterback Jalen Hurts, who's heading into a make-or-break season. I think he'll make it. I believe in Hurts. He was a great player at Alabama and Oklahoma. He's smart, athletic and can make every throw. I have no doubt he can improve his accuracy. And he's a stellar leader.

He's a "nice guy". "Leader" remains to be seen. He led the team into the abyss vs TB with help from the punter
