Because we take our foot off the gas. That is UNDERSTANDABLE,but saying 6.4 PPG is unrealistic is hogwash

We just kicked a team we never score that many points against the Giants in their stadium and we are complaining of style points? At this point I just want the win. The score or spread does not matter. Do you think the Cowboys were complaining about how many points they scored against the worst team in the league? NO they were just happy to get the win.

Lets move on from this please. Arguing for the sake of arguing is pointless. We should be celebrating a 2 game lead over Minnesota and Dallas!

Huge matchup with Saints vs Falcons... a Saints win can actually drop the pick 4 slots, from 5 to 9.

I think the Saints pick 4 at this point? A Falcons win would be huge for us in next year's draft for sure!

Idk the Rams win another game.  They have to jump past the Saints.   Indy I don't know either, same with the Raiders.  If I had to guess, I would think it ends up between 6-9.   This week is huge.

Dallas travels to Jacksonville next week. This could be a serious trap game for them and Jacksonville is playing solid ball right now. I am a huge Jacksonville fan this sunday!

Las Vegas gets Waller back this week which is big. Rams may have found a QB in Mayfield, which should post a couple wins. Carolina is playing good football and may end up beating NO, so that will also play into the equation.... I feel a top 5 is very feasible...

The Eagles travel to Chicago.  It's difficult for a team to go from NY to Chicago... too many tall buildings to look at.  The pressure is on.

What about Indy?   Or Arizona?

Well, One of them ought to get another win. It would still keep us in the top 5.... I highly doubt NO gets more than 5 total wins this season. We will see I guess....

Right... but the tiebreaker, puts New Orleans behind a lot of those teams.

If you look at their schedule... other than the Eagles ( who might not need the game)

ATL= 5 wins and new QB

Cleveland = 5 win and suck with Watson

Carolina = 5 wins and may decide to tank it if they are eliminated by then.

They are all winnable games ... one win could put them down a few spots very easily.

I highly doubt NO picks anywhere past 7 next year as I see it. I am good with anything 7 or better.

Are you just throwing a number out there or are you looking at the standings and the schedule?

Both! Rams play Broncos, Colts play Houston, Cardinals should beat the Falcons, Saints play Carolina and I feel they will lose that game. Carolina is playing tough for the coach...

And the Saints play those same Falcons...  Indy plays Houston last ...which matters if a loss or win changes their draft spot by 4 or 5 picks.  Carolina same with the Saints..  might want to give that coach a better pick.

It's too close, the tiebreaker isn't good for us.  And the schedule works to the extreme both ways.  A win or loss the next two weeks really swings the pick.

Mayfield is inconsistant

He could just as easy throw 4 picks next week

They put up 17 points vs the Raiders....let's relax a little.

NFCE games, you just never know

I expected the Eagles to win but wouldn't have been completely surprised if they hadn't

Nice to have an extra game up on the Vikes though

mayfield just isn't that good

OK, so maybe they dip to 10th. We can easily say that we should get a top 10 pick at this point, right? Wasn't that what most were hoping for anyway? I feel a top 5 is fairly likely.

I wouldn't worry about the number.. thr schedule says the Saints could easily win all 4 games still. Especially if Eagles clinch the top seed prior.   As I said in my previous post, the pick can go from 5 to 11 this week.   It's not really safe to say top ten yet.  Not at all.

lol, the Saints cannot "Easily" win any game! The Eagles will need to play them hard week 17 so that should be a loss. Not sure what happens with the other three, but we will just need to wait and see. I see them winning one more, possibly two.

Yes ... I agree the Saints could go 0-4.  The problem is the schedule.   A win vs ATL, Cleveland or Carolina...not only gives them a win,but also a loss to a team they have the tiebreaker against.  You follow.

Much like this obsession some posters on here have about Dallas catching us to create a tie and they have the tiebreaker,  it's the same with the Saints.

Listen...the Saints suck.   But unlike the discussion of the Eagles offense last year vs this year.. quality of points doesn't come into play... the Saints can suck worse than any of these teams but only thing that matters is the record.

Like I said.  A win over ATL can make the pick jump from 5 to 11. Very easily...that's the one win you were giving them.

And btw... Eagles beat the great Bears team this week... then they would go to Dallas with the opportunity to CLINCH the top seed.   So yeah...Eagles very easily might not need to beat the Saints.

Ham poked the bear as he always does and can't let anything go. I will not back down nor change my position on this, however. Just like W/L predictions we do to start the year, I picked a PPG number and everyone has a goddamn COW over it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Saints pick is #5 right now if anyone cares

Yes...and can go to 11 with a win over the great ATL team.

Oh the Eagles will want to beat the saints! They know that first pick belongs to them. To say they will not play them hard is silly if you ask me. To grab Possibly a 5th instead of a 10th pick would be incentive enough for the office and coaching staff......

He is just trying to get under your skin, successfully if you ask me. Let it go my friend. I know you were right as do most on here. That should be all that matters....

You would be willing to put players at risk for a pick.    Which could easily already be outside of the top ten by the time the game is player?  I think you are missing this point.

Everything reset this week with everyone done the byes.    There isn't the extra loss that the Saints have had anymore...13 games for everyone.  So the tiebreakers are real now.   A 5th won for the Saints, can make the pick jump to 11.    The reason...it's no longer a 5 way tie at 4 wins but the Saints have the extra loss... everyone with 5 wins after next week will have 9 losses.  Then the strength of schedule takes over... this is where the  Saints drop.  Big time.
