Holding the ball is whats dangerous in the pocket. Thats why you should throw it away, Remember Bradford the statue?

Pocket is just dangerous period. You can’t avoid anything in there. Your trapped with the biggest guys on the field bearing down on you.

Pointing out we traded away pick 19 for next draft. I know you love it being your obsession seems to be the draft.

SO which pick will be higher? 19 or the one from the Saints?

On the run he can slip to a side slightly to avoid the big stuff. Plus it’s not all these 300 pounders all on top of you.

Thats why we need to continue rebuilding the O line. A S is not going to help that

So a player drafted in 2022 can’t help in future seasons also?

1 pick vs 3,are we starting this all over again??? We got 3 for 1 who doesn't make that trade?

Maybe if you are a "slider" Hurts isn't and while that's great for yardage it puts you at risk and why running QB's careers are shorter

The guy who wants all players to play all the meaningless games now is thinking about extending careers?

To me now, verdict is in….GM blew it by drafting a QB with that first round pick. They win a SB or maybe two if they used it on any other position practically. Well….and hit.

Did Howie blow it drafting Hurts in round 2?

Not the same thing and you know it. Twisting things again

We can stop the Saints running game, need to contain Kamara's pass catching skills. He is their only real weapon tomorrow. Unless we do the 4 TO giveaway like last week,I see no reason we can't do whatever we want against them. Need to cover Hill, they will try hitting him alot with all their WR"s out or hurt. Basically all we need to do

Football is a funny game sometimes. That thing bounces so weird sometimes. They get a kick return TD. Maybe a pass interference call. Just never really know.

Football is dangerous period.it's why they make millions lol

Well you can't plan for fluke plays. if your team is good you overcome them. We had 4 TO's last week yet only lost by 1 score. 4 is too much to overcome, but we came close

That doesn't matter my friend. He's the mortal Superman, not the indestructible Superman.

I think it does matter. Don’t think we’ve ever seen his combination before. Knees can be broken. But he’s a tough strong dude. It totally matters. Most any of these other ‘Running QBs’ you want to compare him to under that label were scrawny speedsters. Didn’t work hard. Didn’t have the coach ability.

Sanders was seriously upset with the fumble. Watch it again

Look at our RB Sanders. Guy really bulked up this year. I think it absolutely matters.

I’m not saying anyone is indestructible. But does adding bulk and muscle improve durability? I think so.

Every QB has good and bad traits. Just limit the bad ones. Correct play calls can help that. Shew played a good game last week, timing was off which is to be expected for a guy who hasn't played. I suspect he will be very good this week.

2 excellent bowl games tonight. 4 teams with alot of draft possibles for us. With an OSU win and a Michigan win, they get to face off again for the title game. TCU probably a bit over rated, but we shall see if they are as good as they think. Still expect Michigan to win. OSU/Georgia will be an all out war, should be a great game

TCU got the marketable couple guys

Obviously,I think we all know that unless it's pure fat lol

It will be a tough game for them. This will prove(or not) if they are the real deal. Nice to see some new blood though. They can be proud of their program

It helps, but not an end all to injury possibility. I know body builders that have broken ankles stepping off a curb. Noone doubts Hurts running ability he has proven it and that is a terrific asset, but if he wants longevity in his career he can't do that exclusively. he is progressing as a passer, that's good to see. His accuracy picked up ALOT from last year, also good to see. Just settle in and don't try to do it all yourself. Wentz did that and he paid with his career

It’s sports. He’s a gamer. When it’s on the line. Hurts is going to do whatever it takes. Can’t take that away. Winner!

You did and he improved quite a bit in all areas. He's seeing defenses better(not there yet but improving). Using the tools around him more(that's why we got them). Just keep the exposure to a minimum. We have the offense where you don't need to do it all yourself. He's getting better at using those tools and not trying it all on his own and while that winning attitude is what you want, you need moderation if you plan on playing more than a few years.. Ravens look bad because they failed to build a team around Jackson, not he's hurt alot. He was their "superman". I don't want Hurts to follow that example

Tried explaining that Hurts didn’t have that last year. Some was him being so young. But some was WR being young and undermanned. The D stunk too. It was Hurts and the team.

Tomlinson is the guy to watch(CB) tonight for TCU,they have a nice RB(not in this draft). Kirkland had a nice game at OT for Washington,so I am looking at him now too

Risk taker in other words

A guy I will be watching is Mazi Smith the DT from Michigan(probably a round 2 guy)

Which pick could help us win the Super Bowl this season? 2022 or 2023?

We're going to SB this year maybe???? And we traded the 3 and 4 pick to get other players to win the SB?

I just fail to see how the 2023 pick will help this postseason. But the 2022 pick would still help in 2023 and beyond.

Exactly. You gotta be able to overcome a call or two going against you. Those are the good teams.

LOL because we got 3 for 1?? That doesn't help??? You want to win the SB then only have pick 31 to replace MANY older guys? And lets not forget Hurts could have died on the vine and we COULD have been looking for a QB. SO Howie did the best thing to cover either scenario. Luckily Hurts panned out. There will be a scramble for QB's and sitting at 9,10,11 we may just do that again lol
