Great, run out and find us a few

Bradberry and CGJ.... I mean, that's pretty good addition to any secondary.

Ham wants more studs

I was just looking at the S class coming up. I really see none that are exceptional. I would look to FA if we want to add a BU there. Ringo getting schooled by Harrison right now. There are a few CB's I would consider, but really this is not an outstanding class. There are no Sauce Gardners I can see. I'm no pro just saying what I think from what I have seen. I would like to keep all 3 we have, may not be possible. Slay on a 1/2 year maybe,I wouldn't go longer. I know Ham wants a young rook, but why waste a pick on a sub standard rook? I mean a need for me doesn't validate a wasted pick. Maybe they impress at the combine. Maybe a CB but i see no S worth a high draft pick

OSU needs to get into FG range with 54 secs left to win

Bummer,great game though

Anyway that’s my lesson on DBs and especially the value of S. I’ve been preaching this since AR was here.

Cunningham,

What NFL team has so many elite safeties? They don't grow on trees and there are so many first round busts at CB and S and rarely are S even drafted in the first round. I love the guy SF has, but he was a 3rd rounder I think. Wallace, whom I agree absolutely sucks, was pretty highly thought of off that Clemson championship team. Yet, he is lost on an NFL field OR simply isn’t talented enough at this level. The Troy Polumalu’s just are far and few between. Was he a 1st rounder? Ed Reed? Im asking. I didn’t look it up. CB is a tough position to draft too. Sidney Jones….everyone thought the Eagles stole him in the 2nd round because of his achilles injury. How do you feel about him now?

By the way, the trade the Eagles made with the Saints, any GM that doesn’t take that is fired….if I were the owner anyway. That "maybe” good safety would have been whom? And are they better than CJG THIS YEAR? Your argument on that is puzzling Cunningham.

But you have been in Hurts’ corner all along, and I was dead wrong about him. His leadership and talent have been a huge asset for the team THIS YEAR. Respect that you have stood up for him and your opinion from day one. At THIS point, you don’t have to keep repeating how you feel about him. Everyone that has read any full page here knows it. So maybe just don’t FORCE it on so many posts. Point made! You were right about Hurts. Awesome! We are all excited about the team winning, so at least Im happy to admit i was wrong. My ego isnt that big. I rather have the Eagles win than me be right.

REALLY, REALLY want them to win Sunday morning vs the Saints as I do NOT want the division to come down to the last game.

LET’S GO EAGLES!!!!!

Happy New Year EAGLES fans!

Answer = Zero

Same answer for how many teams have a better offensive line.

Same for how many teams have better surrounding cast for their QB.

And zero is the answer for that chance that the Eagles would have traded for CGJ if they would have drafted a 1st round safety.

And as you said....zero is the answer for the GMs who would have passed up the Saints trade.

Zero is also the answer to which organization did the best job improving their roster from 2021 to 2022.

Which did a better job than the Eagles is what I meant.

Three really good looking S went at the end of the first /beginning of the second this past draft. You know, where we had the 19th pick we could have traded back and taken one.

Which would you prefer over CGJ?   Because as usual... you fail to acknowledge that if we drafted a S in round 1 ...FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER IN FRANCHISE HISTORY  ...  that we would not have traded for CGJ.

In 2033...change your posting style...have a conversation instead of a monolog.  Do you seriously think the Eagles trade additional assets for a S if we drafted one in the first round?

So who ya trading back with that would salivate at that trade? List teams please and what all each would have to give up to make the move to 19. You're on the clock, you have 10 minutes to make that deal-GO!!!

In other words... the master plan...wouldn't be draft a S round one, then a week before the season trade with the Saints.

Master plan speaking that is.

Oh I think it's probable..not a guarantee like Ham thinks.    But the key piece is CGJ.   They don't get him if we draft a S round 1.

So it's complete BS to say the rookie helps this year more than CGJ.

Lots of holes in that master plan.

Well I see no S's worthy of a high pick this next draft, but we need to take one anyway 🙄 A few decent CB's nothing special. Much better line draft

Shew starting

Don't get the game, stuck with Panthers/Bucs which could be a big game for both teams

Read my previous post educating you on today’s NFL and the need for quality numbers of DB. Nickel is Base league wide. Dime is second most utilized personnel grouping. You can work the math….how many quality DBs you need to run those packages most defensive snaps? Rosie needs to catch up on this. I still have faith he will before you.

I think he will realize how good a job he has here. Hopefully he’s much better this week. Doubt the Saints overload so heavy against the run like the Cowboys. I would have done the same if I was Dallas.

Really watching closely this combo of Blankenship and Epps.
