Btw... never said Hurts injury wasn't painful.   I don't think anyone on here ever said that.   Mu concern is if it's affecting his throwing....which every expert on radio and tv.. and more importantly we saw with our own eyes from right after it happened...it's  not.

Everything is could have..... to me I'm surprised Lane is playing.  I don't care about pain... they all play with that....I'm talking about actually being able to function enough to play...he dominated.  It's a concern for sure that he can continue...otherwise Bosa could take over the game.

When Bosa suplexes Dak on that sack I noticed Bosa grab at his stomach area. Think he injured himself on that.

Yep... agree... to quote " he isn't 100%"

I'm sure Hurts is in the meetings with the game plan team. Most QB's are. They will discuss what plays Hurts is more comfy with and/or what works and what signs to look for to change a play at the LOS

Buddy did this with Randall.  I thought this was standard practice...or common sense?  Why would you put something in the game plan that the QB doesn't feel comfortable with?  That's the dude that has to run the play.

Yeah, would seem pretty standard to me also. But we need to state the obvious 🙄

If Lane is still hurt and Bosa is hurt could be an interesting battle there

Both in the midsection area too.

What I learned today is the D that gives Hurts the most probs is cover 3. It's also what the 9ers play the most, so brushed up on it and how to beat it;

Good stuff, here was the line that stuck out for me    "In other words, our passing games have to be so effective at beating Cover 3 that the defense is forced to play something else to stop our system. So, in a way, it is a bit of a paradox. We need to be so effective against Cover 3that the defense can’t play Cover 3"  I think Hurts accuracy on seam passes will cause them to have to adjust

Yeah a leverage battle

Btw...  did anyone else think there were a bunch of those body slam tackles in that Dallas/ 49ers game?   I was expecting a few flags.

But I think our WRs are the key to this game

IMO going to be tighter windows for Hurts. Hs accuracy is really so much better than last year. Hit those seams with the WR in stride. Should be really effective

Panthers hired Reich

Hurts being accurate could force 9ers into some man coverage which should favor us

CONCLUSION
Here is the bottom line. If you want to beat cover 3, master the air raid. If you master this system and become efficient at it, you are not going to see a ton of cover 3. The defense will have to adjust. They will have to do something different if you keep shredding them. But, if they stay in Cover 3, smell the blood in the water. Attack it!     We have the tools to do this, just need to execute

That takes away the cover 3 right there, now the middle is open at midrange

I double dog dare them to man up on our receivers

Nice move. I have to be a secondary Panthers fan by default LOL(but hey, I suffered through 34 years of the Browns rebuilding HAHA)

Both teams have massive amounts of weapons. Trying to find the match-ups will really test Hurts ability to read/react

Can't forget about Deebo. He can even be used as a RB and they do that

The refs let them play, that's for sure

IDK everyone is saying it will be low scoring, but that sets me up to think it could be a shootout

Sorry for the bold LOL

Really would love this game to be a coming out for Davis. Like to see him in Purdys face often

9er fans are cocky. Spewing all kinds of BS. I hope they come in over confident

We'll see if Reich tries to improve Darnold  or draft a rookie. They currently pick 9th but have the picks to move up

IDK what happened with Darnold, just never made the transition. he was highly rated coming out. I think they will try for QB3

Panthers-I would prefer they wait and pick up my boy Hooker without giving up anything. We shall see

Idk...I hope 9 QBs go first...lol.  But I'm just looking at it as Eagles getting opportunity at best player.
