Great thing is there are spots of need players right where we pick,all 4. Should be no need to reach DE,DT,RB,CB ROT all available almost anywhere,just depends on what the scouts see that we don't. My thoughts are 4 QB's in the top 10-12

Well....you could look at it the opposite....that there are so many needs.

QB, TE and WR....I would think every other spot is a need.    And we need a #2 QB.   This absolutely feels like a year they would take one where we would be thinking they reached...lol.

You could add LB, S and G to that list.  Although we could sign a S.... would be great to get both back.

Blank looks promising,still makes rook mistakes,but he has more ceiling left. Really like to re-sign CJG,that would be my top priority(other than Hurts),but you're right,about any position we could use an upgrade for except maybe WR/TE

LOTS to happen before those decisions. I'm sure the FO is working on how to improve the team all the time. The main focus right now is winning this next game.

We've had it really easy in a few areas contract wise - Hurts, Sanders. RB's have short careers so need replenished more often. See what happens post season - what he wants and what the rest of the room looks like and balance that against spending a pick on a RB vs other positions as we'll most likely be losing some important ones.

Idk the rules... but I assume we can't sign Hurts to next contract until after new league year starts in March.   Where we can sign CGJ at any time prior.   

Idk what they decide to do...as far as time line...but i would expect Hurts to be done some time late April to June.   Free agents will come before then.

It's not when they expire...it's that another team can't sign them until the next league year starts.    

The wink wink window to talk is 2 days before...but the day of the new league year is when it's official.

We can't trade Sanders. He isn't under contract for 2023.

So many free agent RBs.     It's why I don't want to spend on Sanders.   The Sportrac projections...  Jamal Williams 4.1 .... Raheem Mostert 2.2....  wouldn't you rather have a combo like that for less than paying Sanders?  Because then you still need to add another RB salary in the mix.  So many guys available... you could wait it out like 2017 let the prices drop.  You would assume a RB would love to come here for the opportunity to play in this offense? 

Eagles 2021... 550 carries 2715 yards

Eagles 2022... 544 carries 2505 yards

The team rushed better last year...they were the # 1 rush team.  

And Hurts was on pace to break QB rush attempts THIS YEAR.  Sanders was 5th in rushing THIS YEAR.

But the team led the league LAST YEAR... with better numbers. 

So to me having it spread around with more guys is better.  It's why I don't want to pay a guy...then feel the need to just get his numbers up.  

Other factors are we are passing better this year, but you could argue teams should have been more focused on stopping our run game last year.  

Anyway..I just don't want to pay one guy. That guy has to offer something in the pass game to justify it for me.

Interesting fact - Purdy only completed 3 out of 10 passes vs cowpies when under pressure.
