Just some incredible statistics Mahomes puts up

Nope we shouldn't have necessarily been down.   KC offense didn't execute first half.    That's the human factor.

Right,so neither defense was effective. ALL game. They out offensed us in the second

Not a bad way of looking at it

I know they get to see Sermon in practice, but as a fan I have no clue. He had boatloads of potential in college so I am curious as to why he has never "debuted" anywhere. I mean he has hardly any snaps as a pro

Gotta remember if they hadn’t faced up against us and we failed to come back on them and squeak by…they’d have been 10-7. Turned out to be a good experience when you think about starting the season off in a shootout and it coming down at the end in a shootout.

Our defense was atrocious that game. Glad the wake up call came early in the season. After that we were tough to score on

https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nfl/eagles-jalen-hurts-refuses-to-excuse-himself-over-super-bowl-loss/ar-AA1d7DSw So we coulda shoulda had a bigger lead at the 1/2. So since neither defense could function on the crap turf we could have had a 17 point lead at the 1/2. So the bad turf can't be the reason we lost the game. Despite the Hurts Fumble we STILL had a 1/;2 time lead. They made 1/2 adjustments and we had no answers. Not hard to understand. Siri got outcoached. Good learning experience for him

Yes....as I said....2 separate things.   The play on the field...  and the field itself being an advantage to neutralize the better DL.

I mean...if the game was played in 50 mph winds and rain... it neutralizes Mahomes superior passing ability....would have obviously been advantage for us.   But still need to play the game.

Yes..we should have had a bigger lead at half agreed.

Doesn't  change the separate fact that the field was an advantage for the team that needed to stop the better DL.

I’m thinking it’s because of the different schemes we utilize versus the Niners….you’d hope he now has a solid grasp of how the blocking is coordinated. You can see his strength formerly with his excellent vision. That comes with an understanding of the different way Stout and our O approach their business. Like how I was talking about the Inside Zone we love to run. Got redshirted a year after being picked up late in the process to prepare last season.

Then we would have been down at the 1/2 which you fail to understand LOL. Did the field change at 1/2 time???? Nope our O couldn't keep up with theirs. We should have known the D was disadvantaged. Wasn't rocket science by 1/2 time. We just failed to execute. if we had any clue at all we should have known the field was crap  before we played and we would need to beat them with offense. The fumble mistake was in the first 1/2 and we STILL had a lead. Hold the lead for 30 minutes and we couldn't do it. Their offense was 13 point better than ours the last 30 minutes

Again... human part of the game.    If we played in weather where neither team could throw the ball...obviously it takes away Mahomes advantage.. doesn't mean the Chiefs couldn't take a lead or win the game.

It's still an advantage.   Doesn't guarantee anything.

Didn't we get him from the niners? They said we would see more of him this year, which isn't hard to accomplish since he didnt play a snap. Even 1 snap would be "more of him this year". I'm just wondering if he has the talent why it's being wasted on the sideline. Someone needs to give him a shot as at least a RB 2 before he collects social security

Right, human part. The crap field wasn't all that important. Both teams had to play on it. They outscored us in the 2nd half. That's all that matters

Kinda weird that he played with Hurts. You would think there would be a natural connection there and Hurts would be pushing for more snaps for him,so IDK what's going on there

If we had a trivia contest... 20 questions

If 19 of the questions dealt with 60s and 70s rock...  who has the advantage me or you.    If instead we had the same contest but every question revolved around geography around the Philly suburbs... which would you prefer as an advantage if we were playing in a million dollar championship?

I mean... we both have lived on planet earth and could have knowledge of either subject.

So the RB picture seems murky. Gains was coming on at years end(thus the SB snaps). Sermon I'm sure is thrilled to collect a million + a year for practicing. IDK that we expected Swift would become available,so that put the kibosh on gains snap count. if Penny can stay upright he could be a really good back in this offense. All our RB's can catch and run patterns so it will interest me early on to see who gets hot. IDK where Scott fits in here, maybe he doesn't

LOL it's not like KC played football and the Eagles played baseball,so that analogy doesn't add up. maybe we shoulda brought longer cleats for the defense. Anyway whatever worked the first 30 didn't the last 30. We even managed a lead GIVING AWAY 7 points

Probably didn’t word things to express my point well enough. Was highlighting the contrast in schemes with our O and the Niners. The playcall differences…along with blocking scheming. His vision can only shine by reps to know where his lanes will be. Gotta remember it’s not always just a hit this gap type situation. The blocking and gap can change depending on D Playcall.  The scenario of him just having a learning curve. He’s gotta be ready to roll this year however.

Right..because KC wasn’t executing offensively first half and we got the ball first.  We got a lead.  They executed 2nd half, we never stopped them really at all, they messed up more on their own 1st half.

You have to look at the context, not just the results.

Happy 90th,now lets ice it with a SB WIN
